The last few times I’ve come here for parts, the staff has been rude and unhelpful, never having what I need or offering any suggestions. Today was even worse—when I asked to use the restroom, I was told to “go somewhere else” and the guy wouldn’t even attempt to look up the part I needed. I left feeling frustrated and unwelcome. Definitely not the customer service I expect from a local parts store.
I have been buying from Andy's for about a year. Main person I speak to is John. I haven't had any problems with him, until today. I've seen people complaint to him about returns. Today I experienced the other side of John/ terrible experience with him.
I recently bought an oil pan for my mini van, thinking it was the problem. But after removing the part to replace it, we noticed that the part was good and the oil filter housing next to it, was the bad part. So, I went in to return the oil pan and get the correct part needed. But John told me that he had to charge me, a 25% return fee, before taxes? For my mechanics fault of making me but the oil pan?? I paid $164 total out the door, he gave me back $127 cash. Charging me $37 for a return fee?? Wow, that's a ridiculous charge for a return i said. John did not tell me they were going to charge me 25%, before taxes out of my total. Hidden charges they didn't tell you. That means, I ended up paying twice for the taxes and a return fee?? I called John to discuss the charges and he brushed it off. His excuse was,he's the little guy, so of course, the customer has to pay more!!! That was his argument/excuse!! Very disappointed in your service John/Andy's Auto Parts!!!
Don’t ever call this place or try to shop with them. They are very unprofessional you call one minute and order parts and then the next day they tell you oh we sent them back horrible customer service I would never shop here I would rather go waste my money at AutoZone or O’Reillys and pay for overprice parts then come here.
I found this Auto Parts store last week and it was a wonderful surprise. In a world of endless Autozones and O'Reilly auto parts stores, this store is right out of the past and is greatly welcomed. It hasn't changed in decades and took me back to the 50's, 60's and 70's when stores like this one had real old school character. I wish that there were more shops like this one because we've lost almost all of them. Come in and check it out especially if you are working on an older car. You won't be disappointed.
I am editing my previous review because they have changed direction of clientele. Andy's now specializes in MD and HD truck parts. They do have a decent supply on hand, however, I still find a particular counterman there to be short with words and a bit rude when it comes to service.
The owners of this establishment are wonderful. They are really knowledgeable about their products, have fantastic customer service skills, and great prices. I've been buying break pads and rotors for at least 15 years from them.
Horrible. They where sooo rude. So rude.. All of them.. It was recommended by a friend who said good things about them but when we went we couldn't find anyone and when finally two guys show up theu where rude from start of comverstation to end and didnt even want to check our car so byyyeee no money from us and we wont be back or recommend this place to anyone.
Terrible customer service. Not willing to help, just want you in and out as fast as possible. We got the wrong part for our car and they refused to switch it or help us out at all with anything. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
