I'm sorry when I was doing a clean out for my granddad I had to go to this dump because it was the closest, they charged me 105$ to get in and I had another guy woth me so i spent 200+ on this dump that's crazy. And yes my grandparents are locals.

The trash cans are put down so hard, that they often get damaged. I want to say the driver who picked up my can yesterday, put it down so precisely, I had to look to make sure it was emptied.

Ive been a customer going on 2 years now and the first year was horrible. My trash was not picked up quite a few times and the drivers lied about my trash not being out. Complained many times and service has gotten a bit better but still have issues. And getting ahold of someone for help is a nightmare. They want most communication via chat. It is soo so difficult to get ahold of a live person. If there was another option for trash pick up in my area I would have changed companies already.

Got to a rough start, due to new housing tract and possibly driver learning new route.or NOT KNOWING about new route. Trash pick up was delayed for several days and a few bad moments dealing with an automated phone system. I believe WM should call their OWN system, and test out different scenarios that real ppl deal with. It came to were I had to call a different phone number to talk with a real WM person to fix the problem. Waste of MY TIME!

Your driver’s always do a fantastic job. I would say all my recycle bins are all broken and could use a couple New ones. We are always kept informed in case of a holiday or a weather day impacts our pick up. Thanks so much for your hard work.

Terrible customer service! They constantly charge you for overages when they shouldn't. Trying to get ahold of someone to talk to to adjust a bill is almost impossible. It's frustrating because you cannot use any other vendors so they have you held captive and feel like they can do whatever they want.

Trash pickups are good; however; my cans are broken and one is missing the lid. I have twice used the website messaging to ask for repairs or new bins. The site gives me a week they would come and it never happens and no contact was made. Still broken months later.

In 2025, only had a few missed pick up. However, once reported, they came either the same day or the next. WM will work with you regardless of any issue. I must say, the company has improved a lot since 2024!

I request a replace cover / bin for my home. WM closed the request. I knowable on the replacement truck, enterprise, and bin was out at the curb. They made two stop at my neighbors with prefect bids and made no exchange. My neighborhood has a lot damaged bins and no replacements. Crows pick at the trash and make a unnecessary mess.

Since moving to Pamdale , I’ve never had problems—until December. This is the fifth time my trash hasn’t been picked up. No one answers calls, everything is online, and it’s so frustrating. Yesterday they missed pickup again, and even after reporting it, they didn’t come today. Yet they expect us to pay on time? Horrible service.Jan 08, 2026 -
A few years ago, I received a warning from WM for my trash cans being too close together for trash pickup day. However, none of my neighbors (to my knowledge) have not received that warning as their trash cans have always been close together on the street for pickup day.
Secondly, I have had at least two bulk pickups that were completely ignored by WM. When I called about them I got rude responses from the CSR each time. Even though I will never illegally dump, unfortunately, this is why so many other folks do. I hate how much waste is lying around the desert on the side of the roads in my side of town. This is unacceptable! WM makes it too inconvienent for bulk pickup. There also seems to a lot of ridiculous rules on why some stuff cannot be picked up, so this also contributes to why some people dump their trash on the side of the road.
Lastly, I called to report grown men going through our trash with knives a few weeks ago. The WM representative informed me that was not their responsibility. That was disappointing.Dec 17, 2025 -
Drivers are more conscientious and Customer service is always helpful. Your automated assistant is what's keeping you from 5 star review. She can't do extra bag pickup, she doesn't transfer you when asked and it's really annoying quite frankly. You're people are your best asset.

Update: My crushed barrel was replaced but I think the new container is smaller, it's definitely shorter.
Pros: they come every week (except posted holidays) and take away my trash. Thanks.
Cons:
1. they don't maintain a regular schedule - as to pickup time. Sometimes it's the crack o'dawn, other times it's 11am.
2. The truck's machines are violent with your barrels. My current one is cracked vertically in the body. Still usable. The last one had the lid torn off during an emptying.
3. We are not in the city limits so we don't get to recycle.Dec 12, 2025 -
The service from WM and our drivers are excellent. In almost 28 years we've lived in Moorpark and on Shadyridge Rd the Waste Management has performed every well. Thank you,

Waste management in Palmdale is by far the worst city trash truck service I have ever encountered in my life. For two consecutive weeks now, the blue recycling bin has not been emptied. I have ensured there is enough space between my trash bin, and it is not heavy at all! It only contains cut-up cardboard boxes and recyclable materials. The last time this occurred several months ago, we called in, and a customer service representative assured us that someone would come out the next day! However, that never happened! We called again, and they still did not come. To make matters worse, the bill increased by $20, and we are receiving terrible service. This is unacceptable, and I believe the driver for our area needs some form of training or discipline to prevent this from happening again. I hope to hear back from someone as soon as possible, and I expect this bin to be picked up and emptied immediately! Additionally, it needs to be replaced as it is cracked!

Non-responsive to emails, they do not pick up my trash as agreed at 153 New St. Macon Ga.
Their phone system prompts create loops leading to “money collections”, not problem resolutions.

Put in an order to have our broken container replaced. Truck picked it up and never replaced it, marked it as attempted/closed, then had the nerve to continue charging us, claiming the container was not out for pickup. We do not currently have a container to put out. This is the sixth major problem we've had in five years, not counting the numerous times they simply do not show up.

WM has really bad pick up service here in Littlerock, I constantly have to contact the office because my area gets skipped. Their driver”s excuse is that our dumpster was not out, we are not the only ones here we haul our trash out at 6:0 am on Fridays. I understand when there is a holiday but there was not a holiday this week but once again my trash pickup got skipped. VERY ANGRY

First of all when I call this company the machine says its faster to use the website to fix any issues. Wrong! Then they thank me for choosing WM and hang up on me. There is no other choice! I feel abused. I just pay what tell me I have to pay, and hope they take my trash... Dont get me started how they act like you don't have an account but when you log in it say welcome back Dave. On 10/9/25 I had a bulky ídem pick up schedule but they never picked up or sent me a notification why they didn't pick up they just left me hanging i sent them an email and I haven't heard from them and it's been almost a week. I paid my bill on time every month and I have asked them for replacement my trash can top lid but no answer yet and when I call them they hung up on me and when they pick up i get the most horrible attitude. We need more options when it comes to trash pick up services wm services are getting worse every year

For over 39 years my residence has been served by Waste Management of the Antelope Valley with no service or billing issues. Even going to the landfill with the two vouchers we receive every year is great. I have received very blurred photos from them stating I put the wrong item in the wrong bin. I had no idea what it was, but the effort was made. We always do our best to separate items to the best of our ability. The app is the best and I hope the hazardous waste pick up comes back.

If it's not raining at all the service has been very good though, I wish they would allow a separate barrel along with the company provided barrel. My only compaint is a rainy day. Our pickup spot is on paved road off of Escondido rd. But, the truck enters from Sierra hwy. side which is dirt road 90% of the way. When it rains, they will not attempt the road. Through a chat, they agree to a special pickup next day. Still no pickup for the following 2 dry days and no credit to the billing. My thanks to my neighbor who dumped it for me into their larger 3 yd. bin.

For the past year the service has been absolutely terrible and i have had things happen such as drivers almost hitting my car, missed pick ups, skipped pick ups and lazy drivers.
i have been calling the Palmdale office for weeks, each day at different times and get no answer.
I have run through all of the automated paths using the phone assistant to no avail. i have called the corporate, and all they did was argue with me.
I have had the bulk pick missed numerous times and each one missed was answered by an excuse the driver made and I am done with playing these games.
I was told that my couches were wet from being rained on when i went out to the front to check on them. They were dry, corporate swears by the innocence of their drivers but i have visual proof via CCTV cameras that they give no effort at all.
Laziness is extremely common in our city for WM's team and I have decided to refuse paying my bill until it is handled.
On top of them not taking the bulk items, they left them in the street and i received an earful from code enforcement.
I had my recycling bin stolen the same day, which I also caught on camera, and they are telling me that I won't receive a replacement until the next week, which is my next service date!
That means no way to toss my recycling....
At this point I have tried everything from calling all numbers given, corporate and online chat for each one to say "sorry i cannot help you" and then they pass me off to someone that couldn't help me before.
This is ludacris for a company that claims they are here to help and WM is robbing people for their money at this point, whilst being incredibly rude about it.Oct 16, 2025 -

Quick hassle free experience. Needed to unload about 2100 lbs of gravel.

For the most part, WM does a good job. My reason for 3 stars is, their recycling rules. Our recycling never gets picked up until late afternoon. The Antelope Valley is a windy place, and many times, the cans get blown over and the trash is blown all over the neighborhood. That makes our neighborhood look bad. When you toss your trash, it is bagged, and not usually a problem. WM insists that the recycling is not bagged but just tossed into the can. Boxes, cans, paper etc...blows all over the neighborhood making a mess. The truck drivers do not get out of the truck and pick up the trash. It is left to blow all over the neighborhood. I do not see what is wrong with bagging the trash. We pay an extra $75 for trash sorters already. Buy them a box cutter! When the recycling is bagged, it doesn't blow all over the street, can be easily cleaned up and problem solved. We need to work on keeping our community clean. I believe this is only reasonable, and WM needs to work with its clients. To continue to send violation letters for bagging recycling is not looking at the situation reasonably. Yes, I have called and talked to WM, and those conversations have gone nowhere.
