I missed my trash pick up October 10.
I called that evening they let me know they don’t provide a reschedule pick up but I can include up to 6 trash bags for the next pick up.
Next pick *up October 17 *only trash container was taken.
I called that evening was told it will be picked up by end of day.
I called Saturday October 18 they said the trash bags will be picked up end of day.
Monday October 20 they said the bags are scheduled for pickup this Friday October 27, but they said they can reschedule and can be picked up in 48 hours
I called Thursday October 26 the automatic line says they came to service my home Monday October 20 at 418 pm THIS IS A LIE.
I CANT SPEAK TO A SUPERVISOR BECAUSE THE LINES ARE TO BUSY SO IM WAITING FOR A CALL BACK.

For over 39 years my residence has been served by Waste Management of the Antelope Valley with no service or billing issues. Even going to the landfill with the two vouchers we receive every year is great. I have received very blurred photos from them stating I put the wrong item in the wrong bin. I had no idea what it was, but the effort was made. We always do our best to separate items to the best of our ability. The app is the best and I hope the hazardous waste pick up comes back.
If it's not raining at all the service has been very good though, I wish they would allow a separate barrel along with the company provided barrel. My only compaint is a rainy day. Our pickup spot is on paved road off of Escondido rd. But, the truck enters from Sierra hwy. side which is dirt road 90% of the way. When it rains, they will not attempt the road. Through a chat, they agree to a special pickup next day. Still no pickup for the following 2 dry days and no credit to the billing. My thanks to my neighbor who dumped it for me into their larger 3 yd. bin.
For the past year the service has been absolutely terrible and i have had things happen such as drivers almost hitting my car, missed pick ups, skipped pick ups and lazy drivers.
i have been calling the Palmdale office for weeks, each day at different times and get no answer.
I have run through all of the automated paths using the phone assistant to no avail. i have called the corporate, and all they did was argue with me.
I have had the bulk pick missed numerous times and each one missed was answered by an excuse the driver made and I am done with playing these games.
I was told that my couches were wet from being rained on when i went out to the front to check on them. They were dry, corporate swears by the innocence of their drivers but i have visual proof via CCTV cameras that they give no effort at all.
Laziness is extremely common in our city for WM's team and I have decided to refuse paying my bill until it is handled.
On top of them not taking the bulk items, they left them in the street and i received an earful from code enforcement.
I had my recycling bin stolen the same day, which I also caught on camera, and they are telling me that I won't receive a replacement until the next week, which is my next service date!
That means no way to toss my recycling....
At this point I have tried everything from calling all numbers given, corporate and online chat for each one to say "sorry i cannot help you" and then they pass me off to someone that couldn't help me before.
This is ludacris for a company that claims they are here to help and WM is robbing people for their money at this point, whilst being incredibly rude about it.
On 10/9/25 I had a bulky ídem pick up schedule but they never picked up or sent me a notification why they didn't pick up they just left me hanging i sent them an email and I haven't heard from them and it's been almost a week. I paid my bill on time every month and I have asked them for replacement my trash can top lid but no answer yet and when I call them they hung up on me and when they pick up i get the most horrible attitude. We need more options when it comes to trash pick up services wm services are getting worse every year
Pros: they come every week except posted holidays
Cons: they don't maintain a regular schedule - as to pickup time.
The machines are violent with your barrels. My current one is cracked vertically in the body. Still usable. The last one had the lid torn off during an emptying.
We are not in the city limits so we don't get to recycle.
I've had this company for 17 years with no complaints. They're dependable, respectful, always consistent in the work they do. The price is as good as always! I couldn't be happier.
Trash gets picked up when it's supposed to, so that's nice. If you have anything outside the normal pick up, best of luck. It's very hit or miss and if they do show up, half the time you get some excuse why they couldn't take the item. Regular trash service, 5 stars. Anything else, 0 stars.
On collection day I set out my trash can. Along side of the can I added 5 bags of cuttings and leaves. Only two of the five were picked up along with the trash can. The remaining three bags are still at the street waiting to be collected.
Non-responsive to emails, they do not pick up my trash as agreed at 153 New St. Macon Ga.
Their phone system prompts create loops leading to “money collections”, not problem resolutions.
The reason for 3 stars is because of the containers. They don’t seem to last very long.
The pins in the lids come out; or the whole can breaks when it is lifted. The cans are replaced in a timely manner but it is still frustrating
Quick hassle free experience. Needed to unload about 2100 lbs of gravel.
Used up a voucher for 2000 lbs and was charged $3 and change for being 100lb over.. Very happy that I have a way to dispose of unneeded materials in my yard..
Improvement with better drivers! We notice! The drivers are neat n do not spill trash all over when they dump the trash into their trucks! Husband noticed a BIG difference. Thank you!
Overall I had a good experience. Kara Ulberg is always such a great help answering any questions and directing me to the right place. There were a couple minor issues at the dump site, but nothing worth getting into details about
I requested new trash can a few weeks ago notice new can are s.aller then the old ones. This is causing me having to not placing all trash or grass in can untill the following week.
This company is horrible. My trash has not been picked up numerous times without accountability from this company. Management has blamed me for miss trash pickup when it was not my doing . At other times, they stated they would come back around and empty my bins and never came until the following week. I’ve had a lot of issues with this company.
For the most part, WM does a good job. My reason for 3 stars is, their recycling rules. Our recycling never gets picked up until late afternoon. The Antelope Valley is a windy place, and many times, the cans get blown over and the trash is blown all over the neighborhood. That makes our neighborhood look bad. When you toss your trash, it is bagged, and not usually a problem. WM insists that the recycling is not bagged but just tossed into the can. Boxes, cans, paper etc...blows all over the neighborhood making a mess. The truck drivers do not get out of the truck and pick up the trash. It is left to blow all over the neighborhood. I do not see what is wrong with bagging the trash. We pay an extra $75 for trash sorters already. Buy them a box cutter! When the recycling is bagged, it doesn't blow all over the street, can be easily cleaned up and problem solved. We need to work on keeping our community clean. I believe this is only reasonable, and WM needs to work with its clients. To continue to send violation letters for bagging recycling is not looking at the situation reasonably. Yes, I have called and talked to WM, and those conversations have gone nowhere.
I enjoy the County of Los Angele’s free hazardous waste program which allows residents to properly dispose of waste at the AV Landfill free of charge twice a month. Were it not for this program others would improperly dump hazardous waste materials. However don’t think for a moment this policy was instituted by Waste Management who give nothing for free and gouge at every opportunity.

Why do I have to pay more for a smaller container?
If you’re going to replace a damage container, replace it with the same size of container not a smaller one.
I’ve ordered the 40-yard roll-off dumpster twice now — their largest standard size — and it has been perfect for large construction and remodeling projects. The delivery and pickup process was smooth both times, and everything went exactly as scheduled.
The team at the WM - Antelope Valley Landfill is always friendly and professional. I was able to easily use my vouchers without any hassle, which made the process even more convenient.
Overall, Waste Management has provided reliable service and excellent customer support. I’ll continue to use them for future projects and highly recommend them to anyone needing roll-off dumpsters or landfill services.
We really like their service! Can always count on them to pick up as scheduled. They are really friendly and helpful when you request additional items to be picked up or large items for pick up. They pick up really early too so that your items aren’t sitting out all day for everyone to see! Truly appreciate their services!
I cannot complain regarding the service but for a senior citizen to pay for pick up every week, I and I am sure other senior citizens dont ALWAYS use your services. In a month or two I dont use the services and feel that paying the same rate is not fair, also living alone and eating out...what do I throw away?? So I end up paying for service I use very little.
Someone threw their garbage in my bin and you accused me of placing something "unacceptable". I cannot monitor the bins when they are outside. The customer service phone number you offer DOES NOT WORK. I cannot communicate with you. We rinse the bottles, we cut the carton, we do everything by the book, but you are quick to blame and no way to explain. Worst service.
Outstanding customer service by the very helpful representative I called on the phone to report that my trash didn't get picked up. The WM representative helping me managed to get the truck driver to swing by the house again to pick up my trash but, it wasn't picked up again. There was ni explanation why it didn't get picked up again. Was the can too heavy, was the can too far in the street, or was it too close to the curb? There is no notification of the reason why on my account page nor did I get a text or email message explaining why my trash did get picked up. I don't like paying for service I'm not getting. I recently started service back up at this location and I expected the same over and above service I had in the past before my move back. Looking for answers.
If I could give a zero I would. Horrible service. 4 days late and 8 calls later to their customer service and they still have not picked up my entire streets recycle trash for the week. The fact 4 days and 8 calls and they don’t care about the customer or making this correct shows what a horrible company they are. Do not use waste management worse service. Then they try sending you video footage of them picking your recycle up and the video is of yard waste not recycle. Their drivers lie probably to milk the overtime yet don’t perform the services we as consumers pay for. Horrible company who doesn’t care about their customers one bit. 4 days later still on the curb with trash. If you see the pic attached none of our streets recycle has been picked up this week. Zero sense of urgency to fix this. Day 4 and 8 calls.
