i went and recycled a bunch of scrap and with that i had 5 big tractor batteries that i dont see on this list or maybe they charged it as something else ...i used to work for alpert and alpert iron and metal inc..so the guy at the cashier said its be cuase we dont have a category for batties yet like this is some type of new biusness that hasn't been around for years...on top of that when i went back to ask he knew exactly why i was there i didnt even have to ask and he started explaing how he put the batteries under breakage because they dont have a category for batteries yet...thats some funny buisness or am i wrong?
The staff is very helpful, despite how busy it is, they will still take the time to help sort and condense your material, best local rates, plus you don't have to walk a 1/4 mile to the cashier.
I've been taking my recycling to Alameda metals for over 5 years now. I'll never go anywhere else the customer service is great and they have the best money back for your cans.

The only reason I give a one star is because. The way they handle my matirlas. Since I recycle steel and depending on where I go the price differs. But for this place I was low ball. Also got a nail in my tire. So that's why
So friendly. So helpful. Upon arrival I immediately had someone to assist me. They were able to recycle my aluminum bottles and glass. I got a decent wage for my items as well. I’ll definitely return!
Best place I've ever been to recycle in the AV! Friendly and very helpful staff. Today was our first time here and a gentleman even helped us with our recycle! It's not too busy and they are fast. We were in and out in less than 20 minutes. Don't go anywhere else. This is the place to recycle. We will definitely be back.
I am so glad I found this recycling center, it's close to where I live, staff are friendly and the best part is it's not packed all the time, they make recycling quick, simple, and they even have coupons
They sit there and steal people's money the scale on their thing is wrong. It's annoying because they're workers supposed to help you out and they don't and they still get paid from what you have recycled
I had the best experience recycling in this company usually I don’t like going into recycling centers because it’s filled with guys and it makes me uncomfortable but the the gentleman at Alemeta Metals were so welcoming and helpful I was in an out and had the best prices for my scrap campared to any other recycling center
A young man by the name Mojo I think that’s what they called him was nothing but helpful and had the most welcoming vibe to his personality it’s always nice to have an employee smile at you and be so welcoming/helpful he’s the guy behind the window

What a rip off. They charge $15 per vehicle per time it gets weighed. So for 2 cars it's $60 to do a before and after weight for a military move. In Alabama it's $5 per vehicle. It's free at Edwards afb. Then the guy on the phone is a jerk about it because I told him that was expensive. He says he doesn't need my business. Good. I'll take it somewhere else...
