I was having a great time downtown until I locked my keys in my car. I thought this was going to ruin our day but the guy said he would be here in 45 and showed up as he said.
Five Star Towing in Long Beach really delivered. I had to get my car towed from a very tight spot, and they were careful and skilled. The dispatcher was friendly, and the price was fair. Easily one of the smoothest towing experiences I’ve had.
The name says it all guys. Five Star Towing gave me five-star service from start to finish. They arrived fast, handled my car with care, and price is affordable. I’ve been in a clunk a few times. Easily, these guys are at the top in regards to my towing experiences I’ve had thus far.
shady yes. they said 45 min and $140 for a jump start. i asked if they'd do $100 cash and they said yes. driver called saying they had wrong location (lies) and would be here approx 30 min. i called driver 45 min later to ask where they were. they wouldn't tell me and hung up.
i called another company and they said 20 min and $70... $60 cash.

Very shady company do not use! Check the Yelp reviews, much more accurate. Told me the tow truck would arrive in 30min-1hour, after 2 hours, no truck. After calling to get a status update, they lied to me and told me it would be 10 min. Tow truck didn't arrive for another 30min. Look up their address they don't even have a tow yard. They are some type of middle man marking up prices and providing very poor service.
I had an amazing experience with this towing service! From the moment I called, the team was warm, attentive, and professional. They arrived promptly, handled my car with care, and explained every step of the process. Was very satisfied!
They were awesome. They call you and text you to let you know what time they’re gonna be there and it was there right on time. It was great service use them again and again.
Terrible service. I was given a one hour time window for later in the day. Time came and went . . . no show. I called, they said the driver called and I didn't answer so he didn't come. They had my credit card info and had said they would charge me half the charges if I wasn't there. Why wouldn't they come? They left no message when they called from an unknown number. Don't use them.
The manager took the time out of his busy day to help me with my towing issue. 10/10 will always be taking my services to this towing site. Great service, better people.
THIS IS THE MOST DISHONEST COMPANY EVER. I called for a tow in Long Beach ca. I was quoted $140 with a 90 minute ETA. 90 minutes turned into over 2 hours. I finally called to cancel the after being told the driver was 25 minutes away twice after the first 90 minute eta. I ended up calling another company who ended up being 10-4 towing as well under another name. 5 star towing and/or expedite towing. Once the driver showed up I had to flag him down. I received a call from 10-4 towing and asked them why they were calling because I cancelled their service to go with 5 star towing. That’s when I all made sense. They were all the same company. Not only are they the same company they doubled the price when the driver got here banking on my desperation after sitting for 4 hours for a tow. Per Berto, Rose and another representative they’re not being dishonest because they are a third party dispatcher for all the tow companies listed in Long Beach under different names.
Got the job done. Didn’t take for ever. Clean and professional technician. My windows are tinted and he took extra care to unlock my car without causing damage.
This company told me that for an additional fee they would send a tow truck right away. They asked for zelle payment and charged a whopping $385.00. They took the money and still made us wait for an hour and a half. Then when I called to complain they told me that it was my fault that I didn't call them back and tell them that their driver asked for zelle payment! The whole transaction seems so shady. Any other tow company has to be better than this. Taking advantage of people in a situation like this beyond low.
I called this place for a battery jumpstart. I was given a quote of $150. The technician called me to give me an ETA of 5 minutes. Some kind people helped me an hour later. I called multiple times to cancel the service and was forwarded to a voicemail that was not set up. I thought this was odd for a “legit business”. As I am driving home, the technician called me TWO HOURS later to say he arrived to help. He did NOTHING to help me and I was charged $49, I have no clue why because my calls are now forwarded to a voicemail that will not take any messages. DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO! They don’t have prices or policies on their website, therefore they will charge any way they please.
First, we were quoted $135 minimum and $180 max. Once the job was done they charged be $209. Also, they had my card on file but the guy that came told me it had to be paid in cash or through Zelle. It was super sketchy.
Second, we ended up waiting 2 hours for someone when we were told “30 mins” and then each time we called to check in they said “20 minutes more.” Would have been better if they just initially told us it would take 2 hours instead of playing with us.
Third, the people on the phone were super rude.
I made mistaken for called this company to tow my low stance sport car. They said they have flat bed but end up show up with unprofessional two guys. Seems like one guy was training another new guy at the time. End up park so close to my car while then pushing car down from exhaust shop lift. Bend my rear exhaust. End up cost me hundreds of dollars more, they didnt responsible for it and even be unprofessional on the phone when I report to them. Never again with this company. Trust me!
Overpriced and unethical. Don’t give them your credit card information until after you’ve got your tow truck. They want the cr info up front!!! They wanted to charge my card $49 for a “cancellation fee” bc I wouldn’t shell out $135 for their overpriced basic service. I cancelled my card before they could charge their “fake” cancellation fee.
I was in a very bad situation and Guy came throughwith friendly service, very active, and helpful he lifted with Chrysler Town and Country van switch the tires in a few seconds and had me in the air and on the road headed toward the mechanic shop in a very few minutes he even gave me a few references to good mechanic shops in the area I would recommend this service
Saved me from a 4 hour wait time. Apparently Five Star Towing is the most reliable and accurate. My insurance sent 5 different companies and all were lost ore said it was to far and 4 hours later they decided to call Five Star towing. Estimated time was 1 hour and made it in 31 minutes to be exact. I appreciate the Five Star Towing Team.
I can't begin to tell how horrible the customer service is here. I just called for a tow truck and gave my card info to guarantee a truck to come, we waited 30 minutes and we call back asking for an update and she said let me call my guy so she transfers back over and says he's finishing up a job and should be another 40 minutes so I contemplated canceling and she said if i do then she'll charge my card bc he's in route and i said no hes not bc you just said he's finishing a job and if i cancel she'll charge 50 even though she just lied. Super dishonest company profiting off of others unfortunate times
