I never leave reviews. But with this incident the public should know. Going through the process of receiving your car out of the impound could be a real bummer. To make things smoother it would be suited to call ahead to get proper information of the documents and information needed to get your car. The first day of assisting with retrieveing a car out the impound, we called THIS COMPANY over 5 times to make sure we were prepared when receiving the vehicle. We received different information each time we called. One question that was asked was " What forms of payment do you take". THEY SAID ALL FORMS. I would think that's a very important question when paying a business over $1000. After gathering ALL the information that was needed, we went to receive the vehicle. While submitting all of the documentation to the lady at the window, SHE FINALLY SAID ALL THE FUNDS NEED TO BE IN ONE FORM. EITHER ALL CASH OR ALL ON ONE CARD. This is a task that could be taken care of prior to driving to the tow yard. By the time we came up with the funds in one form, the lady at the window told us THEY were now closed. They closed at 5. It was 4:58. We got there at 2:30. She also said if we come and pick up the next day, it would be an additional $264. Highway ROBBERY! The next morning we called to make sure things were still in process and we had all the funds in one form, the registered owner had to work and could not be present but was present the day before and signed documents. The same lady at the window watched us stay there all day until the registered owner was present and did not release the vehicle until 8:00pm that evening. She even lied to the police to further hold up the release. This was a quick $1200 to make as a business owner and not hold up people's lives. What a waste of time. Be aware of employees and their power over businesses. 0 stars!!!!

This place towed my vehicle from my apartment building parking area despite the fact that I pay for the parking and have the permit on my vehicle that authorizes me to be able to park there. Possibly considering persuing this in small claims as this cost me around $309 to pick up my car that they towed just 2 hours before i had to go to my shift at work. Causing me to lose a day of pay on top of the issue at hand.

This tow company is about as crooked as any out there. They mistakenly towed away my car and rather own up to their mistake, keep insisting I was parked improperly even when the lot owner said I had every right to park there. I came to see my son's Christmas performance at Sonshine Preschool one Friday morning. The lot where I parked is owned by the preschool/Church, but residents of the neighboring Vicino apartment homes are allowed to park in a certain part of the lot from 6pm to 8am with a permit. I arrived at the lot at 8:45am that morning for my son's 9am performance. After the performance was over, I couldn't find my car and eventually found out through the preschool that Mr C had towed it away while I was watching my son's performance. The preschool staff had come out while the tow truck driver was in the process of towing my car and insisted/demanded he stop to no avail. Apparently, the tow truck driver insisted to the school staff that he had seen my car before around the apartments (wrong), and thus I was parked illegally outside permissible apartment parking hours without a permit. The school staff tried to tell the tow truck driver that vehicles from the apartment usually carry a sticker/permit which my car did not have (since I have no affiliation whatsoever with the apartment), but the tow truck driver would not take no for an answer and towed my car against preschool staff protest. After the school staff told me what happened, I had a friend take me to Mr Cs Los Alamitos storage facility and the lady who works the front desk made up a story saying that cars for the preschool are not allowed to park on that lot. I called the preschool who confirmed this is simply not true. While Mr C did not charge me for picking up my car, they never apologized for their mistake and instead kept insisting I was parked illegally. This was such a big fat waste of time for me. I would have been willing to forgive them had they simply apologized and owned up to their mistake but instead, they kept sticking to their made up lies that I was parked illegally. I have an electric car and while it seems to drive OK after receiving it from Mr C, I'm really worried they may have caused damage to the car from incorrect towing (a real possibility since their tow driver doesn't follow basic instructions/rules). The preschool said Mr C has done this before, so it's clear these illegal tactics are a part of this crooked business' practices.
