I came here to drop off an SUV full to the brim with cardboard from a cross-county move and a bunch of IKEA furniture. There were staff everywhere, and everyone was super helpful. If you aren't looking to get paid for your cardboard, you can go straight to the back and dump it in bulk instead of the dumpster. No ID check and no need to be a Glendale resident. If you're stacking up recycling faster than it's getting picked up in your bin, come here! In and out in five minutes.
Had cardboard from ikea furniture to dispose of and when I called the staff was so friendly and willing to explain the drop off process. Once there their staff were super helpful in deciding whether to recycle or donate.

They make recycling so0oo0o easy. I was recycling cardboard boxes. My car goes on the scale, then unload the boxes, drive around and weight car again, then get paid. I was out by 10 minutes. Super fast

amazing! so glad to find a place nearby that accepts cardboard. had bought a ton of new furniture online and was left with a mountain of cardboard that would have taken months to piecemeal recycle in my curbside bin. if you don’t want money for the cardboard, just drive up to the pile in the back and start unloading, then off you go.
This place is great, it's basically one-stop place to recycle all sorts of things. There are more than bins for paper, there are bins specifically for books and for cardboard, it's great. I think I got a good return on my glass, although I haven't compared the payment rate to the other places I usually go to, but I felt it was worth it. I like this place a lot, good amount of parking, and the folks there are courteous enough. I'm planning to come back here.
As far as recycling places go this place is very clean and efficient and the facility is super easy to use. Everything you need to know is posted. The staff are very friendly too. Flash em your ID and payment is fast and easy. Bottles, cans, plastic and more.
Convenient and easy to recycle. You place your recycles in bins or barrels and they get weighed. I've always been curious if the weight on the bins is accurate because the plastic bins are very worn down and should weigh less than what they say. I've never asked to weigh a bin empty though, so idk.
We get around 5 bucks every month bringing our bottles here. Love this place. The people who work here are very nice and patient. They will answer any questions you have. My first time recycling was here and I’m sticking to them!
My company had lots of Aluminum printing plates to recycle.. they provided the trucking, were honest on the weight and paid more than most others offered.
Showed up right as they were closing..they easily could have turned me away but instead let me in and stayed a few extra minutes while I dropped off. Super nice folks

This guy is not even here and this place is supposed to open up at 8am until 4pm Monday through Friday and it’s past 8am and this SoCal employee’s hasn’t gotten here to open up this recycling place and it’s almost 830am half in hour until 9am I don’t recommend it to anyone who ends up expecting it to be open at exactly the time specified on the front of the door as advertised and also it is false advertisement online as well si do yourselves a favor and get here like around 10am maybe this dude will open up by that time and you’d cash in your bottles and cans and you won’t get out of here by 9am I’ll tell you that right now more like after 930am/10am whenever this dude decides to show up
Wow, I've been to these guys several times (not recently) but I can tell you they pay some of the lowest prices I have ever encountered from a supposed scrap yard. They are also not friendly, they are extremely picky with what they will accept. They tried to charge (yes, CHARGE, not pay) me $15 to accept an electronic component full of steel and aluminum. I am genuinely baffled by all these great reviews. You wil get rock bottom dollar here. Go to Sun Valley, that's where the good pay is!
I'm over half a century old and have been recycling well before the aluminum can came out, from beverage containers to salvage steel Allan & Co. have been my first choice for miles around because they pay out at a top rate most importantly (more money, yay!) but also because of the easy access, speed and efficiency of the staff and the guys and girls who work there have been nothing but friendly and helpful for years not only to me but to the many friends i send there who all say to me "thanks, more money and much faster service than anywhere else", and as for the review by the guy who claims that his girlfriend kept getting hit on there, I want to see picture of her, because, I have my doubts !

This place is straight forward. When you drive in, you park, get your cans out of your car, and line up. The place is as clean as a recycling center can get, which means its stinky but its not a nuisance, and there are lots of noises going on there from the machinery crushing things. Its a huge compound with blocks of cans, bottles, and glass out of the way of civilians. There are bees there that buzz around due to the sugar in soda cans, but usually there's only a small amount. This is my go to place for claiming my recyclables, since the prices don't fluctuate all that much, and the employees are easygoing and friendly. When you get there, you'll want to take a look at their board, they have all the payouts per pound listed there. After you've gotten all your bottles, cans, glass, whatever you have weighed, you give them your first name, and go up to the bungalow, and give the attendant the receipt. They ask for a California ID to verify, then they give you the cash. Its the most satisfying feeling getting money for your recyclables. I gave this place 4 stars because sometimes their policy can be confusing on the larger bottles, like the orange juice bottles or the milk jugs, pretty much anything not a standard bottle. It also depends on who is helping you, most of the time they will sort it out for you before its weighed, other times you'd do well to ask them, since larger items are worth 10¢. All in all great place.
