They are the best! Highly recommend them! Knowledgeable, honest and reliable. It’s really hard to find auto mechanics like them these days. I paid less than one third price the dealers charge me for repairs. They are really honest what my car does and does not need and never over-sell. And they offer the best price! They are the reason I am still driving my old Volvo. Besides, it’s really fun to visit them because they treat customers like families! I will never go to any other places.
Tiko is the man. He took great care with communicating to me about my V70. While working on my car he would send me pics of problematic parts, and sent me a breakdown to replace and fix with the cost. I used to go to a popular Volvo shop in Glendale, but no longer. I came to tico wth my 2006 volvo s40 for an electrical problem . he was very honest explaing me the problem and how to fix it . it was christmas eve. and rain but he worked on the car and fixt in 3 hours.did a great job . very reliable guy ,i will have it in mind for future problems . thank you .
Tiko is a diehard Volvo fan and shares his passion with his customers. He’s reliable and his rates are fair. I keep coming back when I need anything for my V70. He does most of the maintenance on my car and occasionally it needs more significant work and my first call is always Tiko and HKS.
The only mechanic i have known so far that timestamps the parts after replacing them, very knowledgable, trustworthy, Tiko would never recommend changing a good working part in your car.
Tico and his crew are great. I needed a fuel pump for my Volvo V50. He change the part and also went through my car to make sure nothing else was wrong. I had just purchased the car five days before and the used car dealer would not help me in anyway. Tico took care of the problem and went beyond and talked to the dealer, because of that the dealer knew he was wrong and split the cost of the pump. Thank you Tico! I owe you one. Justin.
The owner wanted to sell the same piece I check the price 3 days ago for more money just because I didn’t buy the first time when I ask politely for his service he turn very rude and arrogant refusing to Help me just because I didn’t buy at first. Couldn’t believe it

Look no further if you need any Volvo Parts. I recently purchased a used Volvo 850R wagon and needed a part for it. When I called, HKS was very friendly and knowledgable about the vehicle. They had the part I was looking for and held it for me until I got there. When I arrived they cleaned off the part for me and we had a nice conversation. The price of the part was extremely fair. We all know how expensive Volvo repairs can get so this place is my savior! I will look no further next time I need any parts for my vehicle! Thank you!!!
Took a client's XC there to get a door actuator installed. Dealer wanted $395. H.K.S. was asking $135. Same part (including labor). I was in & out in less than 1 hour. Fast service and nice guys
This guy is rude, I came in asked for a front lens(headlight). Which I know for a fact there sold separately(not as a complete unit). Then he started arguing with me that its not a lens its a glass, I apologized then asked how much? Then he got all rude and in my face. !100 each!, I asked can I get the glass separate . then he started yelling.. Afterwards I asked him what's your problem. He got close "its like I'm talking to a car". He wanted to pick a fight since the 1st sentence came out of my mouth. There after I apologized and asked do you have a gas cap ? He's words were "no and get out ta here" I know for a fact a junkyard of volvos has a gas cap . He ruined my whole morning, it was funny because I had some
Aviators on and when we got heated in an argument he felt like he should put his sunglasses on as well ...you sure showed me. The guys a real treat, I went on eBay found both for 38.99 free shipping. Don't bother with these people. The worst thing is, I came at the whole situation submissive. I wasn't trying to start anything, I'm a mechanic as well.... And I don't treat my clients ( knowledgeable or not) with disrespect. He isn't a professional and he's definitely isn't stable
Tiko at HKS is amazing! He is honest and knows what he is talking about. If he is unsure or thinks he can get you a better deal he will go above the call of duty and get you the right parts and the right price. I was skeptical about going to a salvage yard for mechanical work but I am SO glad I did and I will be sure to go back!
