The service at this location was extremely disappointing. I visited with the expectation of a quick transaction but was met with staff who seemed unhelpful and unprofessional. When I asked for the location of a product, an employee simply said, "it’s on the other side" instead of directing me or offering assistance. Their lack of engagement made it difficult to find what I needed. Furthermore, I felt watched and uncomfortable during my time in the store, almost as if the staff was suspicious of me for no reason. The overall poor attitude and lack of customer support suggest management needs to invest heavily in staff training on service and professionalism. I'll be taking my business to an alternative auto parts store for a better experience.

Fast and quick service. I needed a lightbulb change for my front lightbulb for my Honda Fit and Isaac J helped me out from looking up the part to installing it for me. Very kind gentleman as well and willing to help. Would come back again.

Came to Autozone to get my key fob battery replaced unfortunately my key fob broke in the process of switching out the battery. Got ahold of the store manager (Brenda) she took care of the situation and replaced my key fob for me. I understand sometimes things happen and I was not planning on pointing fingers I am just glad Brenda was able to help with my key fob. Took my vehicle and my key to her and within 25 mins my car was ready with the new key remote. Thank you very much Brenda for saving the day.

Don’t buy a car battery here, they are already used and In bad condition. Last Thursday My car wouldn’t start, so I called AAA to jump start it, and he said my battery was bad, he used his reading device and it said it was at 40%. Low key I wish I looked at the reviews online, because there is no way I can get a refund, if you read the receipt and online, batteries are pretty much final sale, with warranty, but the with the warranty you are just getting another bad battery, people who used to work at Autozone would tell you how their business is full of scams. I ended up buying another battery at Sam’s club, it’s a way better quality and the warranty is for 3 years not 2.

I rarely write reviews, but after my experience with Aliyah at this AutoZone location, I felt compelled to share. After dealing with car trouble and an unexpected battery failure, I came into the store stressed and ready to spend at least $200 on a new battery. My previous visit to a different AutoZone in Los Angeles left a lot to be desired in terms of customer service, so I didn’t have high hopes walking into this one. That all changed the moment Aliyah stepped in to help me. Not only was she professional and kind, but she took the time to ask a few extra questions and genuinely listen to my situation. To my surprise, she discovered that my battery was still under warranty—something I didn’t even think to check. Because of her attentiveness and knowledge, she ended up saving me around $240! On top of that, I even received a refund in cash for returning the old battery. What started as a frustrating day turned into one of the best I’ve had all year, thanks entirely to Aliyah’s care, expertise, and dedication to great service. If every customer service experience was like this one, the world would be a much less stressful place. Give that woman a raise—she’s an absolute gem!

I am giving the 5 star on this Store only Because of Nate. I came on 4/07/2025 to buy Air filter for cabin and for engine. I dont have experience with car and how to open ³gloco apartment and instal the air filter. I asked one of the store associates and he couldn't even bother to help on how i can replace it.As I was walking out to figure it out maybe to watch YouTube on how to install both, I saw Nate and asked if he can help me. He said he is willing me to show me.He showed me how to open the cabin and engine one and it took only 3 minutes and we were done THANKS NATE .You deserve a huge promotion on this Store. Your customer service skill goes far away. It's people like you make this store thrive. I gave Nate 101% for going beyond expectations.

I stopped by AutoZone for replacement headlights and Adriana went above and beyond to help me out. She was super friendly, helped me choose the right headlights, and even assisted with the installation. Her positive attitude and warm smile made the whole experience pleasant and stress-free. I brought a car battery in for a warranty swap which is an easy process and I’ve been doing it for more than 20 years. On this day the young Hispanic girl with all the metal In her face and multicolored hair informed me that I couldn’t trade it because the battery is dead and she needs to test it but the tester they use wasn’t working. When I objected saying that’s not how this works she sarcastically replied yes it is. I stated that I’ve been doing this for 10+ years to which she rudely replied “so have I “ she then told me she’s been working here 10 months and that’s how it is. So I took my battery to a different auto zone and whatta ya know, they swapped the battery In less than five minutes. The kid shouldn’t work there.

I came here after some temporary makeshift fix that a neighbor helped me with. I knew I needed a permanent fix for my positive battery terminal. Most of the employees were less than helpful, but that's when Nate came in CLUTCH. I specifically described to him what my issue was, and even showed him photos and videos. He gave me two solutions and I bought two products to implement them. I came outside (it was raining a bit, and it was already like 5:30pm) and while trying to fix it myself, realized that my tools weren't enough for the quick and short job. Came back in, but Nate was busy so another employee gave me a tool. Came back in a 2nd time to ask for the same tool in a different size (Nate was still busy), came in a third time and thankfully, this time around, Nate was available. I told him what I was trying to do, he quickly grabbed his tools, came outside with me and another employee that was shadowing him, and helped me take care of the issue in 5 minutes. They both went back inside. I tried turning on my car so I could go home already, but the car wasn't turning on properly, asked him for help A THIRD TIME, and he gladly came outside and helped me figure out the whole issue. All of this, Nate did, with a positive, friendly attitude and a desire to help. I can, for the most part, fix minor things in my car, but this time around, Nate was a true life saver. Grateful for prime customer service such as the one Nate provided this time around. 100/10 to this store thanks to Nate.

Unfortunately lied to this morning about a return system being down in the Pasadena store. I went to the temple city store today and it was confirmed they get a lot of Pasadena customers at their store because of this same situation. Please help the customer, we only want what is best for our cars.

Brenda wouldn’t adhear to the California legal code even as an employee told me that I had 90 days to return the item if it didn’t work. If a store has no posted policy, California law provides that in most cases, as long as you have your receipt, you are entitled to full refund or equal exchange within 7 days of purchase. (Cal. Civil Code § 1723.) I recorded the whole interaction and will be suing for damages in court

The mid 40s, smaller Caucasian gentleman was very prejudice. I needed fuses but he was no help. Decided to follow me around the store and then keep guard of the front door until I was ready to check out. I'm sorry you work in the hood but not everyone is a thief.

Brenda is the manager at this location, happy to a women Manager. Brenda is/was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and handled my situation with grace and understanding. I didn’t buy anything here, and yet the staff here was super helpful and friendly. I’ll bore you with the details…I came here because I was having issues with my alarm. The mechanic suggested to change my battery. So I tried this AutoZone, but they didn’t have the one I needed in stock. However, the guy (I can’t remember his name, sorry) told me to try Walgreens next door. And to come back, and that he would gladly change my key battery for me. And that’s what I did. And I’m really thankful he helped me out because unless you have the tiniest screwdriver in the world lol, opening that key to change the battery, is impossible. So yes, their customer service is great. It looks like the staff here is ready to help you out. The store looks clean, and there’s a lot of parking space. And this is not my area of expertise hehe so I don’t know what else to say about this store. But if you appreciate excellent customer service, then you’re in the right place.

Long story short. Went in with a battery we wanted charged, told us 3 hours, came back and told us it was a bad battery. Why didn't they call to tell us rather than have us wait to come back for nothing. Then they told us a new battery is prefferable and the clerk kept trying to upsell us. My friend needed a battery desperately and the guy kept telling us to get the most expensive one. On a budget we said we wanted the cheaper option, and then he told us they didn't have it and it would take a while to get. He said he would call another autozone nearby to see if they had it. He told us they had the mid-priced one but that they too were out of the lowest priced option. We drove to the other one and the clerk said they had the cheaper option. Lying to a customer who is trying to fix their car to make an extra $50 is deplorable. Never coming back.

Waited 20+ minutes for assistance, 2 people helping customers with 8 people in line while other staff standing around shooting the breeze. Left without item I needed. Will go to the competition. In the competitive world of business this kind of poor customer service doesn't work..at least for me it doesn't.

I go here all to time for my maintenance needs and other car goodies and have always had a great experience! John the manager is super helpful and friendly and no pressure man that makes me feel welcomed when I need help. Great return policy, they even have some parts for rent , I sometimes buy car wash/ car polish equipment. They have a lot of things you might need if you’re a DIY mechanic and if they don’t have it, they can probably order it or at least point you in the right direction.

I found what I wanted after walking up and down the aisles. I usually don't need help. But it would be nice if someone would have been available should I have needed it. There appeared to only be one person working, the cashier. No one else appeared to be there, though I am sure she was not there by herself. I did appreciate the self-checkout kiosk, because she was tied up with the same customer the entire time I was in the store.

Came in with a dead battery and came out with a fresh one and quick installation under 15 min. The staff was extremely kind and welcoming especially the manager Jairo who installed my new battery; he was eager to help and get me out as quickly as possible. Will definitely come back next time I have an issue with my car.

I went today to the AutoZone in Pasadena on Lake Avenue to buy a new battery for my ram pick up. I purchased a new battery at $222 and they loaned me some tools so I could go outside and put in the battery in my truck no problem there. When I came back into the store I noticed they had a sign that they honor their veterans and give a veterans discount. So I asked about that The discount was 10% , that would equal $20 refund for me. The clerk there was very nice and very helpful but said he had to ask his manager. The manager said no to my request. The store was not busy at the time no one in line no one being helped that I noticed. So they could not take out a few minutes to honor this veteran and refund me my $20 discount. Even though their sign says they honor their Veterans. I do not feel very honored. Unfortunately I would not be going back to that AutoZone.
