I have been here twice and both times were a very pleasant experience. This is officially my go-to now for car repair needs. They are so friendly, helpful, thorough, professional and last but not least, honest. As a female, I had been taken advantage of by so many car repair places. But here it is different. So glad DB has this car shop. It is a gem. 2 thumbs up 💯 I recommend.
Don’t. Just don’t go there. There bunch of other professional shop out there. Just don’t. Believe me. Your life will be much easier if you walk away and stay away from those people. Over-priced, Not professional at all. They will keep you wait and waste alot of your Time and tell you come back tomorrow and still do nothing for you even they not busy.
They waste your time by telling you to come in not knowing if they can actually help you with your particular vehicle. If you ask if they can match a competitors quote [due to time restaurant], they will very rudely tell you to go to the competitor.
I brought my vehicle in for a service engine light issue, and was charged $125 for diagnostic. They recommended per guideline to replace both water pump and thermostat for $2000. I did not get a conclusive answer when I asked whether those 2 components were visually inspected and were not operational. Then I brought to my dealership and found only faulty thermostat replaced under warranty and water pump was fine. Oh well always get another opinion.
We were quoted a minimum of $139.00 for a Smog Check plus additional fees for our vehicle, which is older than 1999. The explanation given was that older vehicles require more “work” and needed time for their machine to calibrate and that we should come back another day. However, we noticed that the posted RV rate on the wall started at $139 with normal vehicles starting at $89 - basically tried to rip us off on our Honda!
This discrepancy in pricing was concerning, especially since we've never paid over $100 for a Smog Check elsewhere. Recommend potential customers to be cautious and verify pricing details before proceeding with this business.
I went to Diamond Bar Mobile to have just one 'USED TIRE" mounted and balanced, and I couldn't believe the price they charged: a whopping $46.50! That's highway robbery for a single-tire service.
The staff seemed more interested in squeezing every penny out of me than providing decent customer service. Adding insult to injury, their disrespectful attitude left much to be desired.
Take my advice and steer clear of Diamond Bar Mobile Don't fall victim to their price gouging and appalling behavior.
You deserve better service elsewhere.
The price and service is as most people write about the smog check. I can't complain about anything. I left my car there before 4pm on a busy Friday, and then crossed the street to buy some groceries. It was ready in less than half an hour before I returned. The only minor inconvenience was the technician who did the smog check. He seemed friendly when I spoke to him on the phone but was aloof and impersonal when I arrived. He didn't seem to want to communicate. Perhaps he had a bad day. Other than that, I highly recommend this place.
Great place to take your car for maintenance, repair, tires or smog test. It's a smaller shop so its best to go early as they can get full. They are a STAR smog test station if your smog test requires it. Fuel isn't the cheapest but is reasonable for the area. Convenience store if you need drinks or snacks.
I visited the shop in order to ask a simple question about their services. I was told they would be right with me so I waited outside the garage. I waited a couple minutes till I saw the mechanic who asked me to wait start to walk over to talk to me. He passed right by me and started talking to another person that arrived after me. I decided to leave because I felt disrespected.
I have a 30ft Class C with a bike rack and 4 bikes hanging off the back. This site is busy with a line of vehicles ready in the queue. My usual smog guy is out in Jurupa Valley with plenty of space to turn, but I wasn't about to drive in the crazy traffic with crazy gas prices. I understand folks complaining about prices, but heck, everything has gone up. I called at 11:15am and asked if they would smog my RV. In my head I was prepared that they would say no because I looked at the google satellite images of the place (still packed) and drove by earlier that morning and saw a row of security patrol cars ready for smog check. I was dreading the drive to and from in traffic back to DB. To my surprise they said they can take me. They cautioned me that they need to move cars to get the RV around the back and they would get it done by end of the day at 6pm. I was like, okay I'll bring by around noon. I pull up at one of the gas stations, walk in and they immediately started paperwork, no sitting around like my usual smog guy, took my info and keys. I was curious how, but I didn't care. I was free from the drive from hell. Sure enough, I parked in a parking lot next door around 5:30 to check them out from a distance. The RV was at the back where a ton of cars were blocking the way. He finished right at 5:57pm and I walked up as soon as he moved the RV to the front. The price was $149 OTD but worth it from a gas and sanity perspective. They were all accommodating and service was immediate (no waiting around for the customer except for the RV to move). There aren't too many places where an RV can pull up in DB, so this is the place for me.

This smog shop is dishonest place.
Before I paid they told me no pre smog obd check, after they did formal smog and failed my car. The worker told me I can come next week try a second price for half of the original price 70$ also he will do a pre smog check for me before I fail again incase.
That’s a pretty nasty way to pull customers back.
Paid 60$ today to fail. LMAO

Took my 1979 Volvo 240 for a smog check and they wanted to charge me over $100 to have it completed. Just the smog check. Nothing else.
I've had this car over 10 years and never paid over $50 for ANY smog (all STAR certified).
I feel sorry for anyone who doesn't know better and would have just let them perform the smog. Please shop around before taking your car here for anything other than gas.
Would think twice for service here even if I were desperate.
Had car problems on Saturday, May 9 in the evening so AAA towed my car to this shop since it had overnight and is open on Sundays. I call the next day and the cashier says the mechanic is not in, perhaps because it is Mother's Day, which is fine. After checking out their Yelp reviews I told him to let the mechanic know that we are just going to pick up the car first thing Monday morning and didn't want any diagnostics done. Today, Monday, May 11 I went to pick up my car when the shop opened. They wanted to charge me $44.50 for a "diagnostics" that I didn't agree to, and they wouldn't even have had time to do. I didn't go to the shop myself before today. We drove the car to a nearby honest mechanic who found an engine gasket had blown off and we needed a new engine. For some reason Diamond Bar Mobil's "diagnostics" didn't find that problem. Or did they even run a diagnostics? Make sure you know a mechanic's reputation before taking your car in.
My tires were low on air, I came to this place (Napa auto care) and they took care of it at no charge. The technician checked all 4 tires and put air in them. Very helpful and friendly service. Thank you Eric for your help!
Great service! Honest, friendly and courteous staff. Been getting all my cars smog tested in this STAR Certified smog test center for a good 10 years now. If it doesn’t pass, they’ll let you know if there is a problem with your car and they won’t push you to have it fixed at their facility. Although, they are well equipped to get your car working again. But still, it’s up to you if you want them to. Thank you guys and keep up the great work you do!
Used them for and oil change then came back for another oil and transmission and rear end service.. they were able to give me price over phone same day service and were so nice throughout it all. I Will continue to use them and never though a gas station could have such good mechanics!!! Thanks guys!!
