Once when my kids were young and my wife had a dead battery I called and Roger went to our house and installed a new battery for her and they don’t even make house calls. He just helped a neighbor. Mercedes c240 wagon stopped running on highway 210 near Redlands CA. Pouring rain. Towed to East Highland Auto Tech for diagnosis. Water drain near Computer plugged causing shutdown. Was repaired with addition of 2 new rear tires and I was on my way the next morning. I would recommend this shop. Repair was also a reasonable cost.
The customer service was excellent the quality of work was great and it was done in a timely manner, ima refer them to family and friends. My new repair shop for sure.
East Highland Auto Tech is a wonderful company. After a hit-and-run the night before, I brought my car in the next morning and was met with excellent customer service. My car will be ready by tomorrow, and I feel confident it’s being repaired properly and honestly.
The shop is clean and well-organized, and you can tell by how busy they are that they work diligently. I truly appreciate sincere, honest individuals. There’s often a stigma around mechanics, but this place breaks it. God is my witness and they are honest.
On December 23, 2025, I was driving from Los Angeles to Arizona with my wife and 1-year-old son when my oil light kept coming on and my car started making strange engine noises. Not wanting to risk it, I stopped and found East Highland Auto Tech—one of the few shops open early.
Jacob was incredibly helpful from the start. He took us in right away, was very patient while I settled my family, and even let me put something on TV for my son while we waited. They offered coffee and snacks, which made a stressful situation feel welcoming.
After diagnostics, they found my cooling pump needed replacement and recommended replacing the oil sensor as well. The repair was completed the same day, exactly when promised, and we were back on the road safely with a warranty on the work.
Professional, honest, and supportive. I highly recommend this shop.
Took my car in for a scratching sound when driving. Didn’t want to take it to dealership because they charge $250 just to diagnose. Found this place on AAA as a trusted shop.
Didn’t have an appointment, just showed up and staff was super friendly. Got my car checked out in less than an hour.
Turns out it was my breaks. I didnt understand how that was possible because the sound went away when I pressed on my breaks. They explained to me that there was a spring that was causing the scraping noise because break pads were worn. Basically metal on metal.
I think the price for the new breaks and rotor was reasonable. However my breaks and rotors were under warranty so I just took my car and had my nephew replace them. When we took the break pads off sure enough I saw the little spring they were talking about.
Really appreciate them taking the time to explain it. I’m still learning.
They didn’t charge to diagnose which I thought is very generous. I’ll be back for my regular routine oil change and inspection for now on. I just hope they continue to be trusted.
Rico, Jacob and everyone at East Highland Auto were awesome and so easy to work with. My car had been at the dealership just 3 weeks before, costing a bundle. Rico was very understanding & accommodating with pricing, which was a HUGE help just before Christmas & both my kid’s birthdays. I sooo appreciated. Would definitely bring my car back if needed!
This was my first time visiting this mechanic shop. I had my car towed there based on a strong recommendation from the tow truck driver. I had a great experience with the maintenance and tune-up they performed on my car. The service was professional, and my car is running much better now. I would definitely recommend this shop.

The other day, my friend heard a loud noise in her car. And we were really worried about what it was. I called east Highland autotech and asked them if they would look at the car and they told me to bring it right over. But to be very careful, because I didn't know what it was. They took the car in and I explained to them that I needed the car back as soon as possible. They told me that they would take a look first thing in the morning and get back to me. The next day when they returned it to her, I'm not sure what all they did to it, because it isn't my car,( but I drive it often.) It drove smoother and quieter than before. The loud noises that I was hearing before were gone. It problem that we first experienced was completely gone. And did I fail to mention that my friend is handicapped, 85 years old, and that that car is her only means of transportation because it has been modified for a handicapped person. When I told them that the compassion in this serviceman's eyes was clear and he wasted no time getting it back to us in better shape than I gave it to him. And might I say, I think they even washed it? Because it looked good. Thank you guys very much for taking such good care of my friends modified P.T. crusier. Rico is very kind and helpful. Found this place through AAA and I'm glad I was recommended to them. Brought my car back again to get serviced, and plan on bringing it back for any future needs.
I came in to have a full set of tires mounted and balanced, and East Highland Auto Tech exceeded expectations. Not only did they do an excellent job with the install, but they also performed a complimentary multi-point inspection and flagged a few important problems I hadn’t previously noticed. The owner, Rico, was polite, professional, and clearly cares about customer service. He even offered a discount on upcoming repairs, which was an unexpected and generous gesture. The whole experience was honest, efficient, and handled with genuine respect. I will definitely be coming back.
I stopped by first thing in the morning to have a tire looked then repaired. The team quickly attended to my concerns. The entire staff was friendly and professional. The change of ownership has been a positive and I would not hesitate to go back for any future needs I may have. I would recommend to anyone in the area, plus they open before most other shops in the area.

Can’t say enough great things abt this shop! These folks are honest, reliable and super professional. They walked me through the repair process and shown me how worn my parts were. At no time was I concerned that I was being upsold or misled--I'm just a girl!
The shop itself was clean and comfortable, with a cozy waiting area and free beverages! My repairs were done quickly, and the pricing was fair and upfront, with no surprises tacked on. Finally driving with the cauldron light off! Five stars all the way!

They were absolutely wonderful. I have a Ford f250, 2004 truck that had not been running right. They fixed it. The price was reasonable, and they kept me well informed every step of the way. They not only fixed it but had gotten it smog ready. I've taken it to sunrise Ford prior and I was not happy for many reasons,East Highland Tech is now our new mechanic. I've recommended them to my kids
