I come here for windshield wipers or car remote batteries and they will change them out for you. I really appreciate their service. My husband always needs some car spray, tool, etc. and O'Reilly always has whatever we need to finish a project.
Knowledgeable and Helpful Staff! I went in with a cylinder misfire. By this point I already changed the ignition coils and spark plugs myself so I was a little confused and frustrated. I came in and Anthony came out and red my trouble codes. He was super nice and gave me some advice. I went home and did what he suggested but there was still some issue. I called Anthony back at the store. He then gave me some other ideas and taught me a little something about OBDII scanners. The next day I followed through with the updated suggestions and the problem was fixed.
So I learned to use and trust my OBDII scanner but most of all I learned that I can trust O’Reilly Castaic. Thanks Anthony!
I can't thank Mike & Bob for all their help with my windshield wipers!! Was having trouble finding ones that fit my car. After buying two different types at another store, I was getting frustrated so I went to them for help. They went above and beyond with checking multiple brands and were determined to find some that fit correctly... which they finally did! Cheers to these guys for being so helpful.
On our way down The Grapevine traveling from NorCal to SoCal an ominous “Charging System malfunctioning” light appeared in the dash. Fortunately found this O’Reilly and the manager Mike who checked the system out and reported the alternator was the problem. He sent us to a nearby auto shop he trusted where we were treated like royalty. A few hours later we were on our way with not only a new alternator but also a renewed inspiration that there really are some honest and helpful people out there! Stopped here on a road trip when my check engine light came on. The store manager, Mike, was on his way out but stopped to help me figure out how to get back on the road. This was especially kind because it was a holiday and no auto shops were open so I would have been stranded. I tried to tip him and he declined, saying that he just wanted to help people. You accomplished your goal Mike. Thank you for reminding me that there are decent people in the world. I appreciate you and hope O’Reilly’s knows that they’re lucky to have you.

Went for a part that thier system said was in stock. The attendant said the system was wrong. I asked if he could have someone else look for a 2nd set of eyes and the other attendant refused.

I just got back from there where a great young man changed my battery that I didn't even buy there and he put it in for me free of charge I tipped him a Twenty and he said are you sure I said yep have a great day!!!!
Horrible store..the employees are more interested in politics than doing their job.

Old school...friendly, knowledge, helpful. Great place if your handy and want to repair your car yourself and save some money. I live on Hillcrest and stay in "my town" Castaic to support local retailers...my Iced Coffee at Starbucks, my Chile Verde Omelet at Tommies, my gas at Shell, my Wetern Bacon Cheeseburger at Carl's Jr., my Teriyaki Chicken at Matsu, my donuts at Lovin Donuts, Carnitas at Las Rocas, Eggplant Pizza Ameci's Pizzeria, and worship at Higher Vision Church. Castaic is a great place to live for many reasons with one being our local businesses. Go shop!
I really appreciate O'REILLY's Auto Parts being local in Castaic. They always seem to have everything I need, and.if they don't, they'll usually have it the same day or the following day.
Every time I have come in they are all in a great mood. Which really say alot about their work environment. Makes you feel good to be shopping in a place where people are happy to be their. Can't say that about alot of places
My car was heating up going up the Grapevine and we barely made it to O'Reilly's. Aaron came out and help me attach the new hose clamp for my radiator and stayed with me until I got that fixed. He explained to me things I could do to maintain the life of my engine. He really made me feel comfortable and very thankful for having him there.
If I go into an O'Reilly and know what I'm looking for, I have a good experience. If however, I go into the store needing assistance I usually end up talking to some kids who know nothing about my question and instead try to make up bs facts and fake statistics to impress me. I came in for a simple battery for my car, I drove a simple car, nothing fancy and I needed some help replacing the battery...instead what I get is a guy that says he wont help because my car says it needs professional assistance(for some screws and a single clamp?) He tells me I can use their tools but that's it, so I get to work.. next thing I notice is the employee coming outside, maybe he is changing his mind? Maybe he will help me after all? Nope. He is helping the lady a few spaces down from me with an almost IDENTICAL CAR!!!! He was replacing the battery for her but not me? He was obviously just flirting, on his way back inside I stopped him(which made him roll his eyes at me) and said, you can't help me but you can help the young lady over there? We have the same car so why is that? . . He said that she put in a battery replacement request 2 days in advance???? I may have overstepped when I walked to the young ladies car to quickly ask why he'd helped her with the battery, she told me she went inside and asked for help and he came out immediately to take of her, she laughed at the thought of him saying "2s day request for a battery replacement". To end this tangent I just want to say that this places employees are for the most part lazy, they are sexist, and they are disrespectful. If I knew the name of the employee I would have gon in there to complain directly by now, but this will do.

There and it was no big deal for the O'REILLY'S guys to test and Replace my old battery. They also tested my wife's car on my last visit and Recommend a great place to have work done on her car. Thank you for the help guys.
I have a commercial account with oreillys up in Sacramento, ca. I was doing some jobs in LA and I blew out my radiator on the grape vine. Cindy was very helpful and totally saved me! I was stuck in Gorman, with no way to pick up the parts. They took my credit card over the phone and delivered my parts! My birthday was the following day, and because of them I was able to make it to my birthday party! Thank you so much O’Reillys!!! Customer for life!
I honestly can't say anything good about them because of the poor choice they make in hiring. Real uneducated guy (Arron villa) sold me multiple wrong parts after I instructed what to order and lack of knowledge of cars and mainly my truck. If you expect to be walking out of a auto parts shop with the right part or knowledge of how to do something don't go there for help.
