My friend just had her car towed via AAA. The driver was nice but I guess he forgot to collect the money when he left. When the driver called to collect the money, my roommate said yes, but just give her an invoice so she could have a record. He refused and told her he would go back to where she lives and collect the cash. My friend got sacred cos the driver sounded frantic. She then called AAA, told AAA what happened, and they transferred her to the main towing office to pay. First, they were hurried to collect instead of apologizing the experience, then the operator went on and said they would go back to the house again to collect or it would be out of the driver's pocket. She paid, of course, but they didn't listen to her when she told them that it's not ok for a grown man to go to a woman house and try to collect when she clearly said, she would paid just give ger an invoice.
This place is clearly disillusioned if they think it is ok to have grown men sounding frantic to go back to where a woman lives and knock on the door to collect.
People who have AAA and are generally prepared, all she did was to ask for an invoice, but this place refused. She had to call AAA to sort it out.
AAA - great customer service
Preferred towing - not so much , have a friend with you for safety precaution.
This company is so rude, me stock with my wife and child in I-5 motorway, 18 miles from them and he just hang up on me because I looking for nearest exit. Man who answered phone big thanks for helping in this situation.
Fast, courteous, knowledgeable and professional. Would definitely recommend. Nothing worse than having to deal with a tough car situation and then not receive helpful towing service.
Can't express this enough I called Preferred towing because
my motorhome would not start.Rick saw the angle my motorhome was parked at and even though my instruments said I had over 240 miles to empty he sprayed starter fluid in the air filter and it started slightly he told me to put more gas in it and saved me from an expensive tow. Definitely recommend Preferred Towing hard to find genuine honest people these days. Thanks Rick and Robert I will be a customer for life Thanks to Janet also for everything.
Perfered towing was very reasonable price and the driver Richard was very courteous and friendly he got to the my house in about 15 to 20 minutes after calling would 100% recommend perfered towing in california city
I used them to tow my ford f 250 from work when the power steering failed. They were extremely helpful, kind, and had an amazing response time. Made it quick and easy. Didn’t have to be involved at all. Highly recommend them.

My car died about 10 miles from Castaic. I asked to be towed to Newhall Ranch Road. The lady told me that it was a 300 dollar minimum fee because "that's what we charge." I asked her if there was a closer place they can tow me too. She seemed bothered- just hung up on me.
Piss poor customer service. Can clearly here people talking smack about you while on the phone and hand the phone off to someone else to give you lip-service and sass as well. A thoroughly horrible bunch.

I had what turned out to be a very difficult situation. My car was located in a single car garage space and had no power including power to release the electronic parking brake. AAA came out and was unable to provide a viable solution. So I went to my local Audi dealer who referred me to Preferred Towing.
Nikki worked and little by little we were able to get the car out of the garage and onto her truck. It was easily the best toe experience I've ever had. Nicki was very professional, super competent, and made sure that we reached our goal of removing the car without any damage.
