Just moved to San Dimas, and started using WM, had a such bad experience, scheduled a bulk pick up on 1/7 online, said will be picked up on my regular collection day 1/13, nobody showed up, contacted customer service on 1/14, said should be picked up within 25-48 hours, still nobody came, contacted again on 1/16, said should be picked up today, still nothing, it has been over 10 days already, all the bulk items are still sitting curbside! Its such a hassle get the basic job done!

General services are fine but they have switched to automated phone lines to schedule pickups and twice they did not arrive at all. Only success I’ve had scheduling pickups is when I spoke to a customer service rep. The customer service automation is a huge failure and diminishes the quality of service greatly

I am writing to express my concern regarding an incident that occurred on Saturday, November 29, 2025. On that day, your team emptied the trash bins, which were not full, but unfortunately, they spilled trash over the street and curb. I find it quite disturbing that no one returned to clean up the mess left behind. Meanwhile, we are charged overage fees for extra trash or cardboard boxes in the recycling. It feels unfair that we are held accountable for our waste while your crew does not address the cleanup of their own mess. I urge you to investigate this matter and ensure that your team provides the service expected, including cleaning up after themselves. Thank you for your attention to this issue. It takes a lot for me to get mad… Earlier this year WM rerouted their drivers and missed recycling 3 weeks, then 2 weeks it was fine, then again for 3 weeks. I was calm, the staff in customer service have nothing to do with the problem, until it wasn’t fixed after the 12th call. Then I asked for managers, route managers, in the end, the route manager gave me his work cell . He could see all the calls I calmly made and said I could call him personally if it ever happened again. Here we go again. 2 weeks no pickup, kept promising “ by end of day” day after day. I even talked to a manger twice. Even send texts and calls to the managers cell, nothing. How can a company this big be so inept? Waste management - TRAIN your people so that your customers receive the services they pay for. Anything less is not ok.

I’ve had an excellent experience with WM and wanted to share how reliable and professional their service has been. From the very beginning, setting up my account was quick and straightforward, and their customer support team has always been courteous and helpful whenever I’ve had a question. The drivers are consistent with pickup times, and even during holidays or bad weather, they do their best to stay on schedule, which I really appreciate.

WM has been very reliable with their service. Pickups are always on time and the staff are professional. The customer service team is helpful when I’ve had questions, and everything runs smoothly. It’s great to have a company that keeps things consistent and dependable.

Reasonable price. Drivers are professional, friendly and respectful.

Waste management is easy to deal with. They’re always kind and helpful when you make phone calls with questions and those who pick up our waist are always accommodating.

They tricked customer to add recycle bin for a 4 unit property saying it is the new law.. while the law is for 5 units or more or if you generate more than 4 yards of waste each week. Now They refused to stop the service asking for a city waver …….. fraudulent behavior

Although overall the service is good, trash containers replacement and especially bulky pickups have been very unpleasant experiences.

For the most part we are happy with our trash collection. The only time we have had a real issue is when the container needed replacing and the ease or lack there of that it took to get them replaced bcz they were OUT of replacements for weeks.

great service and easy to work with. Customer service is responsive and you actually get a live body on the phone.

My original trash cans green and recyclables needed replacing , from my original request the young lady was very helpful setting up this process, took a couple of weeks one was replaced the other repair ( lid broken ) , the truck drivers a courteous and friendly as they pass thru our street . Happy with our service from waste management.

Bumped my bulk pickup the following week. Left a box of my bulk pickup because there was a tire(just found out it was not acceptable to them). They could have removed the tire on top of the box and haul away the box. How lazy could you get.

I find WM a reliable and professional service. I receive advance notice of changes in pickup date which is very helpful. I've also utilized their bulk pickup service and was very satisfied.

Waste Management does an excellent job, especially with their pick-up service and their communication with customers. My only issue is the cost is a little high.

I was billed many years for a large container when actually I had a small container. They only refunded me for 3 months. Also, I'm 78 and they said they have a senior discount. There is no retroactive years even though I've been a senior for many years. Haha. This senior discount isn't on their website. You just have to know about it.

Wast Management provides great service. I use a manual wheelchair and I recieve valet service meaning they come in my yourd to pick up my trash and they bring the trashcans back in my yard and olace them neatly back. Their customer service is great as well. Thank you Wast Management!

I visit this landfill 3xdaily ,it's my favorite dump .. the staff is real cool, they don't over water ,ure free to choose ure dumping spot , it's filling fast

I have called the company five times to request a larger trash bin to be put on my site. Till today the service cannot be provided. First they kept telling me they didn’t have any then they told me they came by but since my trash is in the alley That they couldn’t leave it but they can pick up trash there? Extremely disappointed no one has ever gotten back to me.

Communications regarding Holiday shifts in pick-up have been great. Driver behavior is positive. When working with the company to address issues or special, they have been highly responsive.

WM is providing a relatively decent service. But the prices are increasing instantly in past few years which they are not proportional and much more than expected.

Probably one of the roughest dump sites in the area. Roads are poorly maintained and dust control seems to be complicated. They ask that you wear your safety gear but they cannot seem to provide a safe dumping area

I needed to have my container upgraded for a different size. Customer service was able to assist me and scheduled a pick up and delivery of my new containers. Friendly, efficient and professional.

As a customer of Waste Management in the city of La Verne, residents are entitled to 4 "large" pickups per year at no cost. I scheduled a large pickup in July 2021 and Waste Management failed to show up on 3 consecutive pickup dates. I called to escalate after each occasion and was offered empty apologies and a promise to reschedule after each occasion but Waste Management never showed-up nor contacted me for the failed pickups. I finally gave up and paid $300 for a service to haul away the large furniture pickup.

Going 1.5 months with a can destroyed by a new driver that was poorly trained. Did to several houses and the can (greenery) was smashed on ground repeatedly and then lanced when it finally swung off. Twice this year the can destroyed by Waste Management. They keep stating "next week" it gets replaced and nothing happens. No worries, they make sure to send a survey asking how they are doing? They need to "DO"!! That is the problem.
