Anderson Chang is phenomenal and easy to work with. No fuss in trying to upsell. Fulfills customer expectations. No pressure and straight to the point customer service. The best customer service I've received in auto in recent memory. Will continue to get my vehicle serviced at New Century and would recommend requesting Anderson as your service advisor to anyone.

Experience was great. Kevin Luu was my service advisor and was a great help on helping me fix my car. There was a leak in the evaporator and it would take long time to fix, but Kevin insisted that he could get it done in only 3 days. Not only that he got it done in 2 days and I was able to pick it up earlier. Thanks Kevin and this dealership has great customer service!

It was very frustrating to communicate using your messaging system. I asked for an update several times and got no response until I called and finally got through to my advisor. He said that he does not get the message responses. That does not make sense. You need to correct this.

My car showed a “Drivetrain Fault” message and shut down. I went into New Century BMW in Alhambra without an appointment since this was an unplanned event. Eddie Wong was great. He was able to help me out immediately and put me in a loaner for the duration my car was being diagnosed. It turned out to me a software glitch but the car shut down and was undrivable so I could not be more grateful to Eddie Wong in particular and his car loaner program for getting me out of a jam late on a Friday afternoon.

Today, I had the pleasure of being assisted by Service Advisor Anderson Chang, who was responsible for my vehicle's service appointment. Anderson’s approach was outstanding. He demonstrated a remarkable combination of professionalism, thoroughness, and genuine warmth that made my visit exceptionally pleasant. His ability to communicate fluently in both English and Mandarin was a great asset, ensuring I understood every aspect of the service process clearly and comfortably. Frankly, after many years as a client here, this is the first time I have felt compelled to personally recommend a specific service advisor to my friends who own BMWs. I assume the service is cool with the vehicle but my service rep Eddie was not the most pleasant to work with when I explained an issue with my vehicle after I’ve received it back and I’ve never had this issue before. He just said there was nothing that could be done besides paying for a new battery to make the screen messaging disappear where I was just asking. Can you come at least look at it so we can see what’s going on but he just kept saying there’s nothing that could be done now after I got back in the car after talking with Eddie it all went away and everything has been working fine. Please do a better job with training employees like Eddie to go ahead and at least walk to the vehicle with the Client to show them why this error won’t go away I’ve never had that experience before. This is the first time I’ve been coming here for years just I never wanna work with Eddie again.

Tire bursted shortly after I drove off after service, in which they “adjusted my tire pressure to optimal value.” In effect they pumped my tire up way too much. I sent a private message and no one responded.

I Had a engine light on that would turn my car into limp mode and they fixed it really well and took care of my car really good. Gus the worker is really nice and helpful. I’m thankful he was able to help me throughout the process of my car getting fixed.My experience at BMW Alhambra was awesome

Im not sure if im able to put lower than 1 star for the absolutely horrible i experienced at new century bmw service center. I have bought 3 cars from them and never really had an issue until i had “anderson chang” help me and it all went down hill from there. Absolutely no customer service whatsoever all he cares about is money and doesn’t care about the customer needs. He lied to me and wasted my time. I will never come back to this unprofessional dealer.

Brought my car to New Century BMW as it was leaking coolant and the engine was overheating. Definitely a shocking experience. New Century had a courtesy vehicle for me to use while the car was being serviced. Great communication from Gary as to what was happening with the car. I was happy with the service provided!

As this is the second time I'm getting a text asking me to leave a survey I will oblige. Where do I start, we'll firstly be assured a lawsuit is coming very soon to you're dealership and that's not a form of threat but a promise. After having bought my vehicle twice to your dealership before I had mentioned there was a problem with my cars acceleration. I advised for my car to be driven on the freeway so you can spot the problem usually from 47mph to 65 mph. A week later I was told my car was ready to pick up and no problem was found. Second tike I bought it with the same problem having not been fixed I request to be in the car with tech so I can point it out myself. The technician Izi which was one of the good employees at youre dealership noticed the problem right away. Well 4 days later I was told to pick up my car and the reason for the acceleration problem was because of my cracked rims. Well I am pleased to inform you after buying new rims and tires the acceleration problem is still their. I was 99.9 % sure then before I bought new tires and rims that I was being lied too well now after spending the money I did just to prove you guys were lying now ypure dealership will be served very soon with a lawsuit and I will see you at court. Thanks for you're lies

Best service center location. They do only what you went in for which was an issues at other locations. They also give you recommendation but do not complete unless work is approved. Your in and out within hours with option to have a ride somewhere. Staff has all been very helpful and understanding especially with kids and time.

Gus is an excellent service advisor, personable, friendly and patient. It’s like going to see a friend who truly has your best interests at heart which sometimes means it’s probably best to replace an additional part (meaning additional costs) because you are there already so might as well save yourself the cost of labor (in the future). Also when a repair can wait he is considerate enough to say your spending quite a bit already let’s wait on the other item it’s not critical. So yes compliments to u for having such a well rounded, experienced Customer Advisor!!

I had oil change service. My car had certain problems before like radio speakers sounded different, even the lights inside my car changed. Car shakes during slow driving and freeway driving. After this last service, meaning oil change, my car runs smoother. The radio speakers sounded better. The mileage in was recorded but not mileage out on my car receipt. I notice I lost 30 miles on gas mileage. Whatever happened I am happy my car runs better. I just need transparency and appreciate if shown.

Always easy to do business at new century with Eric. Super efficient, friendly service and they always wash my car. Highly recommend. They usually have the part you need in stock and it’s not more expensive when you consider that time is money!

Kevin has been incredibly helpful in advising me on my BMW’s services. With his strong engineering mindset, he approaches maintenance like a pro, always recommending preventive care to avoid bigger issues down the road. He keeps me updated on progress, and when parts shortages caused delays, he proactively arranged a loaner car so I was never inconvenienced. Thanks to Kevin’s guidance, I feel confident my BMW will last much longer.

I am a senior woman who relies on my 2018 X1 to drive surface streets from Riverside County to Los Angeles twice a month. I diligently adhere to its service needs and notifications, and have found New Century BMW’s service department to be excellent in taking good care of my vehicle. In particular, I’d like to acknowledge the diligence, kindness, and understanding of Kevin Luu, who was assigned as my service advisor. This was especially the case last week, when after a family emergency, I mistakenly thought my appointment was the day before I arrived at the shop. I was “fitted in” because it was an emergency without problem. My car was serviced without hesitation. While this was an exception in circumstance, the service provided was the usual for New Century, and I am very grateful.

Recall service I assume was fine but have no way of knowing for sure. Was very frustrated that I also scheduled to have the license plate bracket installed after it fell off somewhere causing me to have to get whole new license plates. Arrived for the appointment and they asked if they ordered the part for me. I was confused as I don’t work there. How would I know and why were they waiting until I was at the appointment to determine if they had the part? They did not so now I have to schedule another appointment! I was already uneasy about going back to this dealership after they misdiagnosed another problem quoting a $7000 fix that was not necessary. Another BMW certified shop correctly diagnosed the problem and fixed it for under $2000. Not sure I want to come back.

Everyone I dealt with was nice, the service agent, loaner vehicle agent, and the valet. They took good care of my car and was accommodating. They also gave me a complimentary car wash.

Gus, my service advisor was wonderful! He answered my questions and thoroughly explained the situation to me. My dissatisfaction was with the new payment system and the impersonal way I had to stand around and wait for someone to assist me, since Gus had finished his work day. The remodeling has not only made the physical environment too sterile and robotic, the cashier process has been eliminated and now one has to wait until a very busy service provider checks you out. The fact that someone who is already embroiled in the intricacies of their work, and doesn’t know you, now has to stop their real job to become a cashier. It’s totally a waste of professional talent and a major inconvenience to the customer. Bring back the cashiers along with the warmth, character, and customer friendly atmosphere I enjoyed before the remodel.

I have used New Century BMW for a couple of years now. Overall, I’ve been happy with the service I receive here. This last time was disappointing. They were apparently very busy and so communication about my vehicle suffered. My car was dropped off at 9:20 am and not ready until closing time (only got a battery change). I only received one check-in around 4 pm only for me to find out when I went to get my car at 6pm that I will need further diagnostics and additional work. I wish I had been given more of a heads up as I have very limited time to arrange car service since I travel a lot for work.
