I just love it here! The super hot pool is my favorite and the upper cold plunge area is so beautiful! If you go you have to walk to the cafe the back way and see the the giant fig tree root system, it is magical. The cafe has awesome food choices at very reasonable prices. The 3hour pass is perfect for me, I go a few times a month and it’s my favorite self care place.

Absolutely amazing place and gorgeous area! I wished I lived closer because I would come back all the time. I highly recommend spending the day here. Thank you for the great experience!

Harbin Hot Springs is a terrific, relaxing getaway from the daily grind. A great variety of tubs, sauna and steam baths. We did massages with Ellen (Swedish) and Chandrika (Deep Tissue) and both were awesome, highly skilled practitioners

I’ve stayed at Harbin before and recently spent the holidays in a Creekside caravan with my cousin. The caravan was older but charming, and we truly enjoyed our stay.

after spending Christmas Day and the rest of the weekend my first time out at Harbin, i can genuinely and enthusiastically say it is a special and unique place. no complaints, all praise. well, maybe a small complaint. if they’re going to do it Euro style and be lax on the towels in the steam room and sauna, at least have a hose so people can wash off where their bottoms were or those who were before them. that is all. many happy returns!

Frequent hot springs visitor, First time at Harbin. I have never encountered any weird vibes in other nude hot springs but I gotta say the vibe here left me a little - ewww- couples that looked like they were on molly being a little too sexual , sitting in each other and floating around the pool , like, take it back to the room , and some creepy old pervy guys staring and posing a little too long. It just didn’t feel discreet. And yet there are signs everywhere about no drugs or alcohol or sexual activity. Also don’t love the kids frolicking around loudly (I am a parent) Plus with all the day resort passes it was way too crowded. Granted it was Saturday and Sunday so maybe not the quietest time.The facilities are very spread out, a little far from the cottages to the pools. The cottages are nice , very clean and comfy but the very spacious shower is wasted space that could have been used to put an extra bed in some of the cottages for friends who are not couples and don’t want to share a bed. I loved that there is a lap pool and loved the little cafe and the food was absolutely awesome. The staff were friendly and relaxed.

This was my second stay at Harbin. I love the facilities, the hot hot hot tub, the cold cold cold tub, and the meditation pool. On our second night, my partner and I were in the mediation pool with one other couple. This couple was making out all over the pool. From the seating area to one pushing the other against the wall and floating in the middle. Then a man came from the hottest tub into he meditation pool. He let out a few loud sighs, no big deal. Then he starts moaning. And then he's bouncing and writhing with his eyes closed. At this point my partner and I get out of the pool because he's clearing masterbating. There's no staff in the pool area so we call the front desk, they send security, and they're up in 3-5 minutes tops, but by this time the guy has finished and he's just hanging about in the pool. One of the security staff, a guy with long dark hair, goes over and talks to him very briefly. Then comes back to us and asks if we actually saw him jerking off (like I was going to stick my head under water to confirm it) and because the security guard didn't see it and we didn't see it he can't really do anything. But "he's a regular, he knows I mean business.". The guard does not talk to the couple who we mentioned was also engaging in, I admit less sexual, sexual activity. We get into a different warm pool and the security staff are talking to each other in ear shot of us and I hear the guy say "I'm going to put a note on his profile so if anything kike this happens again, he'll be kicked out.". I spoke to the front desk the next morning when checking out and apparently the man jerking off should have been kicked out on the spot, even if the security guard didn't see it. And the couple should have also been spoken to, because kissing is against their no sexual activity policy. The person at the front desk said she'd talk to the security manager but who knows. I love Harbin's facilities but I'm not interested in being in a pool where someone is allowed to jack off and finish by the time security is able to arrive, unless of course, i dunk my head under water to confirm it. Tldr; if you're cool with regulars getting away with masterbating in the pools, this is the place for you. 2 Stars cause their pools, domes, and cottages really are amazing.

I really enjoyed the place! Even though registration is a time-consuming process, we had a long queue for the same reasons: either the membership couldn’t be found, or the car’s license plate was unknown, etc. Please try to make it easier. Visit other hot springs or spas to see how competitors manage registration.

The pools can get crowded during the day, especially on weekends - but hey, they are 24/7 - and if you're willing to stay awake late at night, there are virtually no one from 2:00 to 6:00 AM Note: Harbin is electronics free zone, as it can be very disturbing to overall experience. That is, if anyone else is present - so, please be mindful of your surroundings

Harbin Hot Springs is a clothing optional Hot Springs resort. It's been around for decades and is a favorite spot for my wife and I to go and relax. While clothing optional it's not a place for creeps. Everybody is very respectful and the rules are such that your privacy is well guarded. No cameras or video in the clothing optional areas. It's also alcohol and drug free. There are several pools including a couple hot pools, a very hot pool and a cold plunge as well as dry and wet saunas. I've only ever been on weekdays so it's not been too crowded but there were plenty of people there for the middle of the week. You can get 3-hour passes, day passes or stay in their lodging in which access to the pools is included. They have food service in the form of a food truck with an attached kitchen. The food is very good. Harbin fell in the path of a fire in 2015 and most of the structures were burned down. Since then they have been endeavoring to rebuild mostly through revenues and some donations provided by fans and frequent visitors. When I last went with my wife in September of 2025 there were a dozen newly built cabins, domes and tent platforms available for rent and what appears to be a 30 plus room hotel under construction. I would recommend Harbin if you're looking to unplug and unwind and it makes a great retreat for you and your beloved partner.

Update to my original review. I've visited Harbin on 5 different occasions in the last 35 days. My last visit was ended with a disturbing incident that management has not addressed. As I was packing up my gear, a car pulled up right next to my camper with someone in the rear passenger seat. The car pulled up every closely and the rear passenger had the window down, PHONE POINTING AT THE CAMPER WINDOWS. A man came around to the door and announced 'housekeeping'. I told him that I would be out in 5 minutes. It was 11am, which is checkout time and I had not returned my keys to reception to indicate that I was out of the camper. I reported this to the kiosk and also talked to someone in operations who told me that the person in the backseat of the vehicle was the employee's child. She tried to assure me that the child was not filming. When I asked her how she knew that the child was not filming/photographing, she asked me if I wanted to speak with the parent of the child. THEIR EMPLOYEE. SHE ASKED ME IF I WANTED TO SPEAK WITH THEIR EMPLOYEE ABOUT THIS MATTER. THIS IS POSSIBLY THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL response I have ever heard. This retreat has signage EVERYWHERE PROHIBITING THE USE OF ELECTRONICS. IT HAS BEEN A WEEK AND I AM STILL REELING. Original Post. Absolutely the best retreat. The food is very good, but limited selections. The atmosphere was top notch with no 'creepy' vibes. The pools are beautiful clean and very healing.

The hotsprings are ok. But dont stay in a caravan in creekside, its 15!!!! minutes away from the hot springs pools. And the RV is not worth at all the price, its so pricy! In general you have to walk a lot to get the hotsprings from the parking lot. I paid 250 for 1 nigth and the RV is not worth this price at all. Pricy pricy pricy

Harbin Hot Springs is such a special place. The campgrounds are peaceful and well kept - we snagged a platform by the river. There are lots of pools to enjoy, from cold plunges to warm soaks and jacuzzis. I also joined the morning water yoga class, which was amazing. The teacher volunteers, so it’s a nice gesture to bring a tip. Overall, it’s a beautiful and calming spot to recharge, whether you’re there for a few hours or overnight.

We flew across the nation to have a hot springs healing experience at Harbin, overall were disappointed. We reserved their best accommodations, a nice cabin however issued only 1 towel per person the entire time. No pool towels, only a few lounges at the pools, no coffee or other room amenities, no microwave. VERY RUSTIC! The pools were fairly nice, however for the 3 days we visited, were never cleaned, all water related services had hair, leaves, and the crowds of nude people did not feel entirely neutral because people were squeezed together in small spaces.

Oh sooooo much potential... The views/pools and accommodations are great. I really hope there is consideration for more soaking pools as more and more accommodations are built. It is already too crowded at certain times of the day. Also there must be a better solution for how to accommodate kids and those there for peace. Several times I tried to make my way to the heart shape pool, which was really the only medium temp pool available and it was full of kids and their parents who acted as if they owned the place, batting balloons around, using goggles underwater, which is weird and uncomfortable when people are naked. It would also be really helpful if the big pool could get just one swim lane roped off for people who want to swim laps, so those that don't aren't in the way and those who do don't bother those who don't. The check in process took forever. Is there anything that can be done online to preregister so this goes faster? Also final thought it is sooooo bright at night. There are other hot springs that are able to have dark pools and lower their safety lights for dark skies compliance. It is so magical to soak and see shooting stars overhead. I hope Harbin can look into this and make it happen. Thanks for doing what you do!

The facility was extremely clean and the views are stunning! I appreciated the clean, new changing areas. Beautiful with nice lockers. The spa staff and massage were wonderful! The grounds were beautiful and filled with altars and meditation spaces. I loved the silence in the pools. The food was pretty pricey. hoping the service and selection improve with new restaurant. Thank you!

Absolutely gorgeous. I go here to relax and disconnect from the world. Harbin is such a gem. Literally the only thing I wish they had was EV charging on site. Everything else is amazing. Keep up the great work !

What a delight to finally return to Beloved Harbin Hot Springs!!!! I have not made it back since the terrible fires several years ago. I was scared, I admit because I have enjoyed retreats, trainings and so much more at Harbin for about 30 years. Ah, how wonderful to return. They have done. Fabulous job in rebuilding. I admit it is sad in some ways to have lost of much of the charm and natural beauty etc. and the vibe has changed, drastically… i don’t feel that happy friendly warm vibe much- mostly I mean with the patrons. The staff has been great. Yet, I feel this is the way America has been in general since the pandemic, George Floyd, divisive politics etc…. So…. Had I can’t change that. It’s just the collective field we have fallen into. Yet, the cottages are wonderful. Good amazing and wonderful work. Thank you for brining Harbin back and I will get back to coming back more and more. Love and grace to Harbin

Nice resort that is quite private. There are an abundance of rules, but no one seemed to be policing to make us uncomfortable. The domes offer a really nice escape from the crowd that can be at the main pools, but domes 1-2 (rooms 1-4) have paper-thin walls. We felt trapped in the room with a sad couple who was yelling at each other for far too long. This seems to be a common complaint. Insulation between rooms is needed! The cafe was quite nice, though full meals were pricey. Lack of fruit option seemed unusual. Coffee was great. The overall vibe from guests was friendly and open.

AMAZING relaxation. Always surprises me how much we rely on background noise to get through the day. Everyone was very pleasant. The variable pool temperatures is great, once you get in each one you know which temp is best for you. We camped on the platform next to the creek...slept 9 hours straight!!! Didn't think that was possible. Can't wait for the steam sauna to get completed.

I'm giving 3 stars because of the glorious hot water pools to bathe accompanied by beautiful views down valley, but any other place I would have given perhaps 1 start. There are quirks to consider: check in staff are disorganized and incapable of making decisions on their own, on multiple occasions provided keys that are vaguely labeled and the same key open multiple rooms, the buildings are named by numbers (1,2,3...) and and the rooms are labeled by the same numbers (1,2,3...), no information or invitation regarding the amenities are provided at the check-in, the rooms are nice and well kept but odd that for $200+/night there's no mini fridge or microwave, especially since you're so far from town, they over sell compared to the posted pool capacity, occasionally the pool monitors all people to redistribute to other pools, and there are lots of children clamouring.

We had a wonderful time! The pools aren't huge, but they're beautiful, as is the whole property. The staff was all incredibly kind. The service was excellent. The food at the restaurant is a little pricey, and we were skeptical but it was really really good food. We were impressed with the quality of food they cranked out from a small trailer. You could tell the kitchen staff really cares and it made a difference. Definitely worth it. We stayed in one of the domes. It was fun and quirky. A few notes... The kitchen AND bathroom are shared. We learned that when we got there. It wasn't a big deal but just something to be aware of. We'll definitely be back!!

Great weekend getaway north of Napa Valley. Love the super hot springs and late night sauna (open till midnight!). The pools are open 24 hours so you can soak all day and night if you wanted to! The facilities are really clean and so are their bathrooms. Oh, and it's clothing optional! Camping was cold but I was prepared for it and brought plenty of warm blankets and layers of clothing. I look forward to coming back during warmer weather!

A brilliant get away at any level! They have camping/!bungalows and beautiful hotel rooms! Everyone is welcome and super respectful! In the evening I used the hot and cold pools in the morning I woke with the sun to meditate and feel the nurturing power of the land. A special special place! Bring a good book probably 2 towels and a hat and sunglasses if your there for the day...the sun gets warm/ hot! Cell phones are not allowed only on a few tech areas by the food truck so those are the pics I added...( But honestly such a great cell phone/lap top tech detox!) The food is beyond! Had tumric and Ginger Shots 2x a day lots of smoothies and delicious food!!! Truly want to devour the menu! Oh and the coffee is amazing!

Beautiful pools, great organic food, and lodging is very comfy. Masks required when not in a pool around the grounds. A fun variety of temperatures for everyone.

This is a hard place to rate. The people working at Harbin deserve FIVE stars . The fire a few years back destroyed most of the old building and drastically changed the whole property. I understand how challenging all this must be. There is so much that could be done better. I could make a long list. The price for camping is way to high for what it is. People come and go all day and night and it is noisy to say the least. Cafe snacks and meals are expensive also.
