One thing I can’t stand is dishonest business. I had my son take cans bottles, Couple, aluminum alloy rims and seven automobile batteries now on the website of Pearson. It says they don’t accept them the batteries that’s fine but they took the batteries and didn’t pay them anything for him. I don’t understand why anybody would do that when you go to Ace and you get like 20 something cents a pound and most other places pay around $.20 that alone right there just told me that dishonest that’s what this company is all about stay clear from dishonest people we don’t steal from our peers at least I don’t
Place absoluty socks. Most the staff is cool but that's it. Prices are horrible and it's basically a place that will do whatever possible to take advantage of you. Dave the owner is truly the lamest person. But yea.. staff is cool but everything else is horrible. Go to ace metals a couple blocks around the corner.. they do you right every time.
I called a couple of days ago to confirm their hours and that they accept non-working vacuum cleaners and carpet cleaners. I was told that they do accept both. so I took the time to drive there today and they neither accepted my vacuum cleaner or carpet cleaner for recycling, nor did they suggest someplace to take them to. I was told that the woman that gave me information on the phone at Dave's didn't know what she was talking about. So why is she answering the phone?!!
Been 4 times and amount of money you get back is prbly based on who weighs it 1 guy is right on another guy makes it not even worth bringing my recycling 40 miles one way bcz I don't make anything but gas money and barely enough gas to do anything else they been in biz 30 yrs so I'm sure they'll figure it out I live in CANTIL and all recyclers close to us been shut down bcz they're ripping off the customers making Pearson's next closest from us except for Lancaster area
Good service treat ppl decent fair prices been twice won't go anywhere else with my recycling they have yrs in recycling experience easy process only takes CRV plastic bottles
Wish I new their is other recycling places in town sooner. I gone here for a year and always felt like I was getting ripped off. I had multiple times them taking certain things out of the baskets and tell me they cant take them because either it Didn't have California stamp on it or because they didn't take the kinda of materials they take and get explanation that they cant take that CRV markings from it or whatever. In fact this happens every to know. time like iam supposed to know I dont recommend this place . Go to ace thats littery down the street and turn on ward . It's a recycling place. Iam always in a bad mood when I leave a. Also I almost damaged my new car because they stacked sheets of sharp metal by where you drive back and out of the area and glass and nails is scattered around all they time. Not going hear again. thanks.
Great place to drop off your recyclable. Staff is very friendly and cooperatives. Saturday its also open till 1.45 pm .. that's so beneficial.

I have reason to believe that on numerous occasions I have been cheated on my recycling weight. I will no longer take my recycling to this place. I will take them out of town, from now on.
This place is super awesome!!! Very nice and helpful. The regulations for the recyclables r easy to understand...it was worth the drive to get a great amount of cash. I would recommend to everyone!!!
Incorrect vehicle and VIN recorded on a weight ticket.
Go somewhere else or take your time to verify your vehicle and VIN is correct before driving away. Awful customer service trying to get the error fixed. Called on July 9th, 17th, and 20th and was told each time they would follow up. I didn't receive any calls back and finally got a hold of the owner after I looked up his number on the DOT website. Zero effort to even help me in the slightest.
Horrible place. Tried to rip me off. Had a few pieces of aluminum that had screws in it. They said because of that they were only going to give me 3 cents per pound as opposed to 30 cents. Most of it was clean aluminum. Didn’t even want to go half and half. When I complained Dave Pearson threw a fit and had his employees load up my entire truck and told me if I’m going to get a bad review might as well have a real complaint. So there you go. I’d recommend any other place than this. Terrible customer service.
Take recyclables, get money. Simple. Staff has always been very courteous to me. They start closing the gates early because people will arrive last minute and then take forever to offload their recyclables. Don't be rude and show up last minute and then expect an entire business to stay open late for you. Act like an adult get treated like one. Never had a problem with the way they weigh my stuff.
I travel over 70 miles to come to town. I called at 4:53 to let them know I had arrived in town and was afraid I would be a minute or two late. The woman told me they were already closed. I said ' But it's not 5:00.' She then informed me that they close early regularly and would not let me speak to a supervisor because they had already gone home for the day. Then told me to call the owner tomorrow. Bad business practice all around
Went on a Saturday at 1 pm . They were closed. Must not want buisiness being closed at 1 on a Saturday. Some people actually work during the week and have to do there recycling on the weekends.
Visited on a weekday after work. They post they are open till 5 p.m. I arrived @4:48 with the gate already partially closed. The supervisor (Luis) said they were closed. Unfortunately we have no other recycling centers in Ridgecrest open later, I'll just have to go on my days off on Saturday
