Horrible service they didn’t do the job right!! The owner is rude and dishonest save your money and go to an actual mechanic shop not this Mickey Mouse shop!
While traveling to AZ our check engine light came on. They promptly came out and checked the whole engine, fluid, etc. Added a little oil and we were back on the road fast!! Very professional and courteous. Thanks a million guys!!
Chewy was such an amazing help and amazing costumer service. I just needed help to replace my MAF sensor because I messed up the bolts but he helped me fix it at low cost. He also gave me some advices about the car and it's complications which I really appreciate. They even helped me check my tire pressure. All the mechanics there are amazing. I recommend this place for everyone
BEWARE! Especially, if you are a woman. IMO the owner is dishonest and runs a dishonest business. He does not care. After $1000 in repairs, not only was the problem not fixed, but now my car is throwing codes it was not before. Every time I brought my car to him something came back broken and it had new problems. They cracked my trim when they pulled out my cluster, the owner's excuse.."it's an old car" "what do you want me to do about it?" He crushed the floor board in my trunk when he dropped the fuel tank, and they cracked the plastic cover of my gear shift, none of which the owner took accountability for and actively gave me attitude. The owner also tried to hold on to my car and said it wasn't ready when his mechanic said it was; he had it for two days. I think he was trying to store it over the weekend until he recieved a part, but I never authorized any repairs or storage. I couldn't even get ahold of him. They don't communicate to you what is happening with your car, they do not provide a copy of the diagnostic results, and treat you like a bother if you have questions. They won't even answer the phone. My car was running fine before I brought it to him, only the fuel gauge was not working. Now, it just isn't driving the same. Also, it took 7 hours for an oil change when they said 2. They were nice, at first, until I expected them to correct the faulty work they did. Then my car was not returned in the same condition.
I came to Alvin Auto after my cars axel came loose in the hills. The axel hit my gas tank and pierced it. I barely made it to the shop. These guys immediately took my car in. I told him I was from out of town and he had me fixed up and ready to go by 6pm. Chuey the owner and his crew were professional, knowledgeable and nice. I can't recommend them enough. They made a horrible situation a lot better.
Lost my alternator headed north out of Castaic on a Friday morning and knew my range was shrinking fast. Got a referral from the Arvin O’Reilly auto parts store and limped my F150 to Arvin Auto. They handled everything beautifully (including picking up parts at O’Reilly) and had me back on the road super fast. Did they gouge me as a traveler passing through? Not even! Least expensive repair I’ve ever had. I love this place!!
My car was at the shop for 2 days and paid reasonable pricing for the suspension replacement but so far my car is driving in excellent condition. Went to get an alignment after their suspension service. Thank you Arvin Auto :)
Very satisfied with work that was done to my car . The shop owner even if he is very busy he takes his time to explain in detail why your car needs the repair. I recommend this shop 100%
My son and grandson broke down east of Bakersfield. They were towed to Arvin Auto. They were as quick as possible to fix the radiator. It had to be brought in from another town. The guy said it should be done by 3:00pm. And they were. The only thing I didn't like was when they all went to lunch, they locked up the place and my son and grandson had to wait outside for a little over an hour.
The guy was super nice. The price for the repairs was unbeatable, and they took me in right away and had the job done in just a couple hours. Very friendly. I felt like my safety was important to them. Definitely recommend.
My daughter was headed back to San Diego State for school. She shut the car off and it would not restart. Needs a starter. These guys got her back on the road for no charge. She still had to have the starter done later but at least no stuck in the middle of know where. Thanks guys
