Was stranded and then out of nowhere Jacob pulls up and asked What was wrong? We told him our situation and he had us towed to the closest town to get some cell service to get us towed back into red Bluff. Great customer service great person did nothing but tried to help us will be Remembering this for the rest of my life!
I had the displeasure of speaking to James on multiple occasions in willow creek and arcata. He's very unprofessional and condescending. They use shady tactics to avoid going through insurance.
Spoke with Gabby who was super nice!. Very patient, as well as super helpful ! Also HUGE S/O too Michael &+ Ashley! They were also the HEROS of the day with getting me out!! Buddy’s did a great job with the customer service I received! Very deserving of a 5 ⭐️
Sadly I wish I could rate this particular branch lower, but that would be a lie. I had a very accommodating experience with a prior tow and requested this particular yard. The issues arose with the tow requests afterwards via (triple a), if one is needing to tow a vehicle from a family members yard don’t do it on a Sunday. Long story short, I am paying out of pocket for a very accommodating tow company (with a reimbursement hopefully in the process). If anybody needs a tow company in Humboldt county I highly suggest PACIFIC TOWING out of eureka, as they are the only company with a dodge flatbed tow truck. Everything else is a ford go ahead a prove me wrong. Fords are fine but until you experience the ease of a dodge engine you’ll never really experience a true tow.
The tow driver was there pretty quick. I had to ride with him in the truck. He towed me about 130 miles, mostly on mountain roads. He was kind and a fantastic driver. I would recommend Mohammed to anyone
Best place to call when you need a tow!!! These guys towed me all the way from Whitethorn to Fortuna when my truck overheated…they were the only Triple A company in Humboldt that would do so, and the driver came at 9pm, when I’m sure he would’ve rather been at home, putting his kids to bed…he did not complain once and was happy to be able to help me!!!! Thank you so much, you guys are super hero’s!!!
Wow! They went above and beyond our expectations in service. Had a blow out in the canyon, they were prompt, courteous, and professional.
Even drove us to Trinidad as we wouldn't get out car back til Tuesday or Wednesday. This happened Saturday of Memorial Day weekend.

Had issues with my car in the “middle of nowhere” at night, pretty stressful, but everyone I met was very kind, they worked hard to get me the best price in my situation and were efficient/considerate in getting it towed back. Hopefully no more problems but if I have them I know I’m in good hands
Helped us out of a jam when a trailer detached on the highway and we needed a wrecker to pull it off the hill. They were pretty quick to respond and very helpful.

Called to ask about a tow and somehow got on the topic of vaccinations, the operator clearly expressed being against getting vaxxed and I agreed bodily autonomy is important, then proceeded to get really defense about drivers not wanting to give rides to passengers because they don't want to risk getting COVID....ok... anyways, she was awfully rude and unprofessional. Absolutely disgusting.
Rotten place with the worst staff especially the front desk girl who was extremely rude and no respect I went to get. My car and my keys was but with the car wen I went to pick up plus they charge on weekend s even tho they aren't even open ! Total nightmare and horrible service I'm from outta town and she did care to tell how long it would take for the. Key to get back plus she never even called me stating that it was there but she was sure willing to take my money 1700 wat greedy inconsiderate actions I received .. sabatoge for sure so I lost my car. And it's cuz they unprofessionally didn't have my key with my car and no call after that messed up
Operator hung up on me for asking how much a tow will cost. Obviously only in business to rip off the insurance companies because they won’t even tell you how much they’ll charge. I refused their service due to non disclosure of prices.
The woman handling the calls is very rude first time we called for help we cancelled the tow due to her attitude. However, I will give the 5 star review for the tow truck driver. He is professional , caring and knows his stuff. Try to ignore the office the driver will take care of you.
I know its weird to have a GOOD towing experience....but Travis was the nicest guy & he did everything he could to accommodate us when we broke down right outside Willow Creek after our 5½ hour drive from the Sierra mountains to Trinidad.... he gave us plenty of recommendations & even checked up on us the next day when he was helping someone else at the hotel we were staying at....
What a great crew. First off, I work as the local FedEx guy. It had snowed and I didn’t know how to chain up my tires with some new chains. They took time out of their day to show me how. Then, I needed a truck to be towed from Salyer to Eureka. Not only did Mike keep me updated on how the travel was going, but he also was very accommodating and helpful. Thank you Buddy’s!
Buddy's Auto has helped me out a number of times throughout the years. Everything from a locked key in my car to broken down in harm's way. They have always been kind, quick, and efficient. Today was no exception. My daughter's vehicle was stuck in the snow on 299. Within a few hours she was back on the road to work. Thank you so much for help. The drivers and owners son like to sit back and laugh about how the poor souls who have their cars stolen and taken out to willow creek area just to be picked up by Buddy's towing. They laugh because they know the owners won't be able to afford their storage fees and they will get to sell said car. They also joke about it with simple impounded cars too. This company gives off a good front of being nice but they constantly are looking for ways to rip you off if you're not AAA or fully insured. Watch out guys and gals. Ask for an alternative if you can. Its also funny to see the employees and there families posting 5 stars. Those are almost the only people who gave 5 stars.
Have AAA & be served 5 stars. We have had 4 tows in one year and each time the driver response time was within the hour, the driver was courteous & knew what he was doing.
1st was a lock-out at the grocery store - 15 min response & 3 minutes the door was opened
2nd was a tow for a friend to eureka - response was 45 min - we followed & driver drove safe
3rd was a RV 20 miles off the highway - response was an hour & driver was a pro
4th was a salvage we bought - we scheduled this for the next day (sunday)& driver was on time & towed it home for us [ till we could get plates & paperwork done following Monday]
Each and Every time we received timely, professional, and courteous customer service. Thanks to the drivers and the staff at Buddy's.
