I camped. The road to get there was nicely paved. Easy access to the pool and tubs. The hosts are very nice. If you camp, beware the sap dripping from the trees onto your tent and car. There's a limit to 45 min per session on the one person tubs. The temp is uniformly mild but the tubs retain the heat well. There's a fenced clothing optional area for the tubs but not for sunbathing. They didn't have a massage person available on my visit. I loved that the tubs were open till midnight looking for my late arrival. Checkout is at 11 but you can park and enjoy the facilities until 2pm. It's a nice stop on my way to/from LA. I'll come here again.

This is a hidden gem that is one of our favorite getaways! The property is beautifully cared for and the water is healing ! It’s a very chill environment that is preserved by the friendly helpful staff. Sandra and Dawn were great to speak with and hear about the diverse and protected wildlife on the grounds.

We were looking for a relaxing one-night retreat to soak our tired muscles after a week of hiking and backpacking in the area. We’ve visited high-end hot springs for a day soak, hiked into remote areas and everywhere in between. We know that some spots are quirky and after reading some reviews we decided it was worth a stay. We booked a rustic cabin (#3) online a few days before our stay and were open to whatever awaited us. We arrived late afternoon on a Saturday, easily checked-in and were given an overview of the space as well as expectations. We appreciated the eco-friendly initiatives such as being 100% solar, on-site recycling and designing spaces with nature rather than against nature. There were several buildings that had been restored, new additions and works in progress. Our cabin was just as described and had all the amenities we required. Bathhouses and restrooms were short walks in front and behind our cabin. We loved soaking in our own private tubs after getting settled in the evening and first thing in the morning. We were able to use one of their outdoor cooking areas for preparing our meals since we mistakenly bought an incompatible propane tank for our backpackers stove. We look forward to visiting again if we are in the area.

Loved the facilities. Very very clean. Staff were very welcoming friendly and professional. I camped in my tent and loved it. Highly recommend it.

This place has a spiritually charged atmosphere and I would avoid if you are sensitive to that stuff. I’m a Christian and I had to pray off some spiritual junk after soaking here for a day. I hate to bring negativity to anybody’s source of income, but felt the need to leave this review as a bit of a warning. Otherwise, my 3 stars are for a physically clean facility and a decently nice attendant helping me at the front desk.

Very frustrating 1st time experience at Mercy Hot Springs. Made a reservation from the road. Explained that it was my 12 year ild daughter and my first time and said we did isn’t know how anything worked. After asking questions and several repeats (hard to understand) I made a prepayment of $150 for a campsite. At about 10p (one hour after we arrived) we were confronted by the staff and accused of not telling them about my ‘pet’ which is a service animal with federally protected rights to accompany its owner (me). So after being accused of hiding a 18 Lb French Bulldog, I awake at 6a to a 45 wild bobcat standing 3 feet from my daughter’s tent, which WE were never warned about. I’d say avoid this place and it’s 1 way street of demanding honesty / accusing guests of dishonesty (over a misunderstanding on Mercy’s part) and then not disclosing that guests may be confronted by bobcats with lethal capabilities. Not great service imo, super hot springs in super hot sun, and $150 to be harassed at a camp site over a service animal, and not being told about the potential danger of wild bobcats to my 12 year old daughter earns this hot springs a solid F minus. Proceed with caution.

We went for the day and it was just what I needed. A secluded hot springs without huge crowds. If you’re looking for a place that is remote and off the grid with a source of natural hot spring water to relax in then this is your spot.

We heard about this place and I am a hot springs junkie. What can I say. Clever layout for a glamping situation. I came prepared with all of our food drinks coffee cooler etc. Nice bathrooms and tubs, pool and cooking picnic area. The cooking area could have been wiped down better. There are nice grills sinks and counters that just need some cleaning. The communal living room was nice and a great idea. You are in the middle of no where. You can take your car into unload then have to take it out to the parking lot. We were okay with that.There was a lot of staff but it seemed like they kept disappearing. It was kind of weird. Cool well planned out place just had a weird vibe. All that build on the shower heads can maybe use some white vinegar to remove possibly.

Short notice day visit, on my way back to Los Angeles from Fremont, decided to call and see if they could accommodate my day use at an earlier time. They responded immediately when the office opened. And I headed there. Drive from 5 freeway was breath taking. Beautiful California landscape. Took about 20 mins on a 2 way road. Arrived to a peaceful quiet property nestled between some hills. Nothing else around. Bring your items in. Rented a towel and paid at registration. Place was pretty empty on this Tuesday morning. Was happy to soak in the clothing optional area where I relaxed by myself staring up to the moving clouds above me. Water was soothing and was definitely non treated mineral water. Note you must let the water run a few minutes to get hotter water. It travels quite a distance from pump house to your personal tub. Can’t wait to come back and stay!

Cute hot springs oasis! Nice hot temperature of the tubs. Slight sulphur smell but you don't notice after a minute. Bathrooms have been recently upgraded with nice tile. Unique place for a day trip in Central California. Bring your own food for a picnic or use the grills.

What a fun very quiet experience. If felt like I might be the only person on earth. I arrived in the evening on a Thursday checked in and found my little cabin room. I was told ahead that there is no food or drink service there so I was prepared and ate before I arrived. I changed and walked into the hot tubs area, filled up my tub and sat and soaked for 30-45 minutes. It was so quiet with a slight breeze moving the trees, a bird calling out and peace. I loved the lone Wild West feel to the place. I think they are continuing to do renovations. My cabin was tiny and cute and comfortable. I loved the little porch of my own I could sit at and enjoy the sunsetting. I think this is a place everyone should come try.

Went out on a solo trip for some much needed mommy alone time. Showed up about an hour early and got accommodated quickly with a nice little map and the staff were very friendly, helpful, inviting and made my stay very comfortable. The campsite was clean with no trash. Nice nature views and friendly visits from the wild birds and bunnies. The drive there was very peaceful and quick. The drive over the 5 was so beautiful and had a lot of cattle farms with cute cows and bulls. Would definitely recommend riders who ride motorcycles to take that ride. All in all, Mercey Hot springs has a ton of space for you to wonder around. Nice bike rides and hikes on the rolling hills are amazing and a must to go see their labyrinth maze at the top of the hill. I recommend coming during the spring or fall for the greenery. The sun was hot but the winds made it so much better and enjoyable. I hope everyone puts this spot on their travel list.

We love our visits to Mercey Hot Springs. We stayed in cabin #2 this time. ||Our favorite thing here is playing disc golf. Although the trails are overgrown, we still had a wonderful time. I would mention that this course is world class and just beautiful with the rolling hills as the background. ||Since last year, there is a new outdoor grilling area that is well kept. There are two large gas grills. There is even a heavy duty grilling utensils that is available for use. On each side of the grills, there is a sink. ||The mineral water in the pool and tubs are healing. It is exactly the weekend getaway that I needed.

Traveling S in our camper van, wanted a place for the night and decided on a side trip here. Absolutely delighted. Stayed an extra night. Gorgeous rolling hills, wildflowers, a zillion birds, great outdoor soaking tubs, black star-filled night sky even with a crescent moon, a night-time chorus of frogs, very nicely designed and maintained facilities, friendly staff, quiet and totally not pretentious.

This is definitely a remote oasis. Stunning rolling hillsides with truly beautiful views. My partner & I stayed in one of their rustic cabins. It was nicer than expected, and we slept soundly our entire visit. The resort is set up for relaxation & your inner zen. Front desk has a few provisions to purchase, but highly recommend doing all your grocery shopping prior to heading to the hot springs.

I stayed at Mercey first weekend of December. It’s so hard to sum up my experience but I will do my best. The location is remote so you’ll see very few cars traveling this little two lane road which is about 13 miles from I-5. The hot spring resort is off the grid and run by solar power/generator only so no power lines overhead buzzing. It is so quiet and peaceful. The water is hot and only has a slight sulphur smell. The tubs were deep and long so you can really stretch out and relax. The owners have created a beautiful space based on their values and do expect guests to be quiet while soaking, including no electronics while in the pool or tub area. This may have been my favorite part of this trip. The quiet. And the smells are amazing- super clean air quality. I stayed in a little cabin which was cozy and comfortable. I felt renewed after my stay.

Beautiful property. Quiet. Tubs and pool were great. You can fill with hot and cold water. Loved the bath house. They have showers, toilets, changing rooms etc. Bring your own food and beverages. They have picnic tables outside the pool area. We got to see a couple of their resident owls. A few wasps in the pool but otherwise it was very pleasant.

Amazing find for my long drive down Interstate 5. Stayed overnight in a small, historic cabin that had been totally renovated. Slept in a real bed instead of camping out - and soaked late into the night on a TUESDAY. Very few people at the resort and it was a very nice nature setting with trees, wildlife and dark night sky. Kinda pricey for the accommodations, but I will be back for sure. They even had a clothing-optional soaking area, which I liked the best. Clean facility and friendly staff.

Managing expectations is often key to enjoying one's time, anywhere. Mercey advertises as "low-key", "simple". I might say "rustic", even a bit "quirky" (looking at you, breakfast beverage tickets ?). I found it a little pricey for what we got, but access to this kind of isolation is priceless (and I'm sure it's not cheap to maintain such a remote venue). The wildlife was impressive. Many critters; I've never seen or been so close to owls and watched them hunt. The sunset walk up to the labyrinth was stunning: cool wind and beautiful colors. By day it was incredibly hot and buggy, so plan accordingly. The mineral water baths were nice; good star gazing. Separate options for both swimsuits and nude. My chief gripe was potable water had no signage and was only accessible at parking lot. Need more water at a hot spring and lodging. "Minimalist" sums up the cabin situation. Shared bathrooms were clean and modern. This is a great place for a couple's retreat or a few friends looking for an overnight adventure. I recommend a trip down to Pinnacles the day before or after. You're sure to make a memory at Mercey.

Had a really wonderful experience here! The personal hot tubs are divine and the spring water felt so rejuvenating. Facilities, including the bathrooms, were updated and nice to use. The real treat was the wildlife - so many birds, rabbits, frogs, and other critters running around made this place feel really special. Incredible setting, nestled in beautiful mountains and hills. Loved camping here and looking forward to stopping by every time we drive from LA to SF!

Pretty cool place! We got in late after a fabulous day hiking at Pinnacle’s National Park and our checkin information was waiting for us in a box outside the office. The water is lovely and gets hot, which is great. We did the camping option and the birds woke us early with raucous singing but it was definitely fun. Would stay here again, but be forewarned to bring plenty of food… the options are limited to non existent for mikes in any direction!

A unique shocking experience! This is one of the few Hot Springs that have private tubs. The property is hidden within A secluded mountain oasis. The property is completely off the grid all solar powered. The mineral Hot Springs water that feeds the tub comes out about 120°. You control the temperature by adding cold water. The property is in a little valley full of trees and there’s birds everywhere. We stayed in cabin number five and it was wonderful! It had a full kitchen. There’s also a great hiking trail that takes you all over the property. You can even play disc golf. They are working on getting the restaurant up and running. For now bring your own food there’s plenty of barbecues if you’re camping or in an RV. My wife really enjoyed the yoga class. All in all it was a very relaxing weekend!

A hidden gem and oasis of tranquility. 2 hours south of the Bay Area and just 15min off I5, this nice facility is built around natural hot springs. It’s a quiet place, well maintained, the views are stunning. In 2021, cabins ran for 200-300, tent/RV camping for 70, and limited-time day use for 50. Campsites are nicely arranged around the pool/tubs. If staying there, the open time is 8am to 11pm. There is a pool naturally heated with spring water and hot tubs where you can soak to your hearts content. You have to follow the rules which keeps it quiet and safe for everyone. The reception area has a small store with frozen foods, snacks, water at reasonable prices. The Phoenix common area is building with nice seating and a wood stove for heating. The second set of hot tubs a little bit up are clothing-optional and quiet. The tubs are a bit older and smaller but it’s worth it. The tubs by the pool are longer - better for taller people. At night, the stars are bright on a clear night - the view is amazing. Everything is in great condition. The tubs, landscaping, tiling, buildings. You can tell the orders spent a lot of time and money on this place. They have a filtered drinking water dispenser. The accommodation and usage fees are well worth it. While I have not stayed in a cabin yet, I found the camping area really nice with small pine trees separating the sites - better than at state parks. There are owls around - sweet to hear their calls at night. If you spend the night here don’t leave without a morning soak in the tub‘s with a cup of coffee - pure bliss. The Hot Springs were known by the native Indians and the name comes from the name of the man who acquired the land. Edit: 12/10/2021 I like the place so much, I returned the next weekend, To spend two nights. Eat more than met my expectations. Even though the spaces of the great they do have electricity and a microwave when you can heat your food. I absolutely had the most wonderful relaxing weekend here!

We live in San Jose and wanted to spend a night and 2 days for a mother-daughter retreat when my daughter came back from college for a spring break. I'm so glad we found this place. It only took us about 2.5 hr non-stop drive on a nice road. The cabin had a very comfortable queen size bed, we slept comfortably. The private hot tubs was very close to the cabin and they were amazing. The water temperature was not too hot, just perfect. Private bath that we could clean with a spray first and then fill with water. Almost no people. We took our camping stove and jet boil from home and a cooler with cooked food. It was a good decision. Next day we checked out at 11 am and went to the pool and the hot tubs near the pool. They are bigger in size, but also private. We had to fill them out ourselves. The water is clear, has a very light trace of rotten eggs smell. Open air makes it absolutely a non issue. So, highly recommend this place.

We have been to this place several times now. The hot tubs are really nice. Natural spring water with sulfur. Very soothing and relaxing. The pool is also really nice and refreshing. We have never stayed overnight, but the day use Is great. It is about 2 hours from San Jose. Not a bad drive at all. We love Mercey Springs and we will definitely be back.
