Alex and everyone in the team was an absolute joy to work with. I got an amazing vehicle. I have owned several used vehicles in the past and have dealt with shady dealings and misrepresented vehicles. This was the exact opposite experience. I know who to go to in the future and who to recommend. I drove a long way to make sure I was working with a trustworthy, reputable, and competent dealership. They won't let you down.

I recently bought a used vehicle from Contra Costa County Public Auto Auction, and I couldn’t be happier! The staff is super friendly, helpful, and honest—you can tell they genuinely care about their customers. What really impressed me was that they even mailed me a refund check when my DMV fees ended up being lower than expected. Most places would’ve just kept that money, but they did the right thing—huge respect for that! Bought several cars here through out the years. I believe I always got a good deal. All these cars held up well with only very minor to non existing problems. I would definitely buy again when needed.

Wonderful place to buy a used car, the sales people are paid by salary not commission, so there is no pressure to buy or commit. I had a slight issue during my purchase, they made it right as soon as I mentioned it. I look forward to coming back to CCCPAA for my next used car!

I’ve bought my first new/used car here 10 years ago. Glad I came back, you still don’t get the pushy sellsman vibe from anyone here. Once I decided to purchase my 2nd car, the paperwork only took about 15 minutes. I appreciate the time efficiency.

I had a wonderful experience buying a used car at Contra Costa County Public Auto Auction! The whole staff was helpful and didn’t pressure me into any decisions. I came knowing what car I was interested in, and the first person I met (I believe she was an office manager or receptionist) gave me the keys and allowed me to look over the car alone, which was a much better experience than other dealerships that hover over you and pressure you to make a choice. When it came to financing, Brady was really helpful in getting me the best rate, ensuring me that my preapproval with Capital One could be beat (and it was!). The process was smooth, and I think I was only there for about 2.5-3 hours (fairly short, for the car buying process). Highly recommend this dealership!

Second time buying a car from here. My experience was so great back in 2022 that as soon as I had saved up for my "upgrade" I started watching their inventory on the website. One car in particular piqued my interest & I kept coming back to it online for a few weeks. I went in to test it out & decided it was a great fit for my family. Only "issues" was that the battery will need to be replaced soon; That's just normal maintenance. I had the pleasure of working with Brady this time. He provided the same informative, no-hassle, no-pressure service that is standard here(they don't get paid on commission- so they're really just here to help you buy the car you choose) Brady was great to work with! He helped me do my first "trade-in" of my old car, & he was super chill & understanding when I needed to sit on hold for 20minutes with my bank to authorize the (larger than usual) charge. Swear I was on hold with my bank for longer than the whole purchase took- no upselling, no pressure, just total transparency. Brady even told me I'd get more selling my old car privately & explained how I could put a hold the new car if I wanted to go that route. Great experience two times over & I'll be back when it's time for my next new-used car!

Huge THANK YOU to Brady at CCCPAA. We came in to look at a few cars. Brady explained CCCPAA is more a dealership than an auction now (post-COVID), but there was absolutely no pressure or hassle or anyone chasing us to make a sale. Brady is very low-key, down to earth and honest about everything. We felt he had our best interest in mind while still being taking care of business. He made our purchase super easy despite a mountain of paperwork required by California. We highly recommend Brady and CCCPAA.

That had to be the easiest purchase I've ever made. No pesky salesman or BS! The whole staff was excellent but Jessica and her awesome personality and customer service won us over! We had a great time and we were treated right! Thanks guys!

I’m giving a 3 star because I believe many of the vehicles may have some hidden maintenance defects that should have been listed on the Carfax. I also believe that many of the vehicles should have a 60 to 90 day warranty for consumers in case there is a maintenance defect after purchase. I found that the professional demeanor were better with the men in the office than the women. (personal opinion)

Went in on Black Friday just expecting to look around a bit and have a better idea of what I wanted to come back and purchase or test drive and maybe find elsewhere. However, after a no pressure to buying experience and a family history of reliable purchases from here, I don't know why I thought I would look anywhere else! For a fairly small lot they have a great selection and fully disclose pricing so you know what you are getting along with offering Lo-Jack services for 3 years with the vehicle purchase! Also most vehicles have a copy of the CARFAX in the vehicle to review from the windshield or when looking at the car itself. Staff was very helpful and friendly! Already talking about coming back when my youngest gets her license and couldn't be happier with my new vehicle!

Was here a week ago and ended up purchasing my first ever car with the help of Jessica. Beyond very grateful for the help and guidance she provided it was all very easy as well and was very very nice throughout the whole process. Would definitely recommend this spot to family and friends!!

If I could leave zero stars I would. I retired my 10 year commuter and needed a new commuting car so I went to the auction and walked their inventory. I saw a 2016 Hyundai Sonata and as impressed as I was with my last Hyundai I saw this low mileage relatively newer Hyundai and thought perfect this is what I was looking for!.....No bought it paid in full, less then a week later check engine light comes on it has a cylinder three misfire and in need of new coil packs. While driving to work at 0230 in the morning the car started running sluggish and began decelerating eventually dropping to 25mph on a freeway surrounded by 75-90mph drivers I had to pull over and get towed to the dealer. Dealer kept the car for a week and a half and $1,800 later I now have the car back hoping for the best. It was never disclosed that the vehicle was a non certified Hyundai so even though it fell within the manufacture warranties years and mileage it was not covered because it is not a certified Hyundai, that is MY fault for not double checking on that. My issue is how in good conscience do you take people's hard earned cash and not even do your part to check these cars out to make certain your not selling then a unreliable or dangerous car that mechanically fails within the first few weeks...? It's bad business and just wrong. Staff was clear when I called saying you should have bought the drive train warranties from us, and I explained the only reason I didn't was because I discussed it with the sales associate and I was under the impression I was still covered under Hyundai manufacture warranties. So my lesson learned and I'm paying for it, just dint buy from here unless you absolutely have to and even then consider the value of your money.

Been searching online for a car I needed, from different websites. As soon as I found what I wanted, Immediately went to CCCPAA. Informed one of the staff I was interested to see the car. He handed me the car key to check its features and to test drive. Liked it. Gave my deposit to Jess to hold the car for me. Prepared some documents. She explained the terms and all. Finalized the sale after a few days with Jessica. It was a pleasant experience to buy my car this way. Nobody followed me in the car lot to sell another. Trusting the car I bought will keep on running smoothly for years to come. I will go back to CCCPAA if in my lifetime, I need another car. The staff worked as a team. Really nice way to buy a used car. Friendly knowledgable staff. They have great top quality vehicles, and the price is the price. The entire process took about 2 hours including the test drive and all the paperwork. I would definitely buy from them again.

Worst buying experience, trash policy, rude staff attitude. Never buy a car here, not worth a cent! Never believe on what they comment below. There are lots of miscommunication caused by their own staffs, and they hope the customers would pay for the consequences. The appointment policy is never clear to customers, you cannot trust what’s written in your appointment email. so they can just make the policy up, and if you schedule an appointment first and early, it might be taken over by some random guy that calls ten minutes ago. They are trying to waste your time. I have shown enough respect while talking to them, politely wait until the staff to finish their just-made-up policy, and they just left me there to waste my time and ignore my conversation.

I did my research on the cars I was considering. It was helpful that the carfax was made available. Narrowed it down to two cars, test drove them, and went back to Jessica, who had been helping me. She was knowledgeable and felt trustworthy. (she will love that comment- she has a great sense of humor). She checked for a better deal than my credit union approved me for, and when all was said and done, she explained what the next steps were. I did not have a 3-day migraine after this experience- no push from a salesperson, prices are set, etc. I'm extremely happy with my purchase.. I would buy from them again.

Super nice I was so nervous buying my first car but they made everything so smooth there were even registration things that they didn’t have to help me with but they figured it out and I’m so happy with my new car! Alex was there throughout the entire process I highly recommend this dealership and him.

All employees were extremely positive and helpful. It did not feel like the true "car salesman" experience. They felt like friends I had known for a long time. They were patient and very helpful in completing the paperwork necessary. I highly recommend this business to purchase a car.

Absolutely great service! I feel bad I don’t quite remember the mans name that helped me, reading other reviews though I do believe his name was Brady, but he was very kind and helpful throughout the whole buying process! I even received a thank you letter in the mail along with a small check, it was very thoughtful. Between my parents and I, we visited two separate times to test drive various vehicles and all the workers helping were so nice! I was very sad to trade in my first ever car but I’ve been driving my new car for about a week now and I love it so much! Would definitely recommend and refer them to anyone I know!

Brady was great. He called me with financing already in-hand and gave me the numbers. I traveled down to Pittsburg, test drove the SUV and decides to buy it! This place was the best dealership I've visited out of maybe 10 or more dealerships. Very zen and a relief to visit after being stalked and harassed by crazy car salesmen at other locations.
