Ok, so I have to recommend Pavels. The employees were all very kind and they kept everything moving along, never pausing. The area is pretty clean (sticky ground but what do you expect) and you never go inside so you don’t have to worry about that. They have tons of cans for you to use, it is on a first come first serve basis. Let me share my story: When some very rude guy just walked right up and swiped the first stack of like 15 cans, one of the guys working there saw and held the next stack until the man that was there first got as many as he needed, then allowed everyone else to get theirs. They obviously believe in fairness and they need credit for that! Plenty of parking and everyone seemed to know their role. I’ll be back!
Pavels Recycling is the best! (It's around back through the far gate next to Mountain Mike's!) I've been coming here for a while and it's always easy and fair prices! Pavel is a sweetheart as is his front guy adding up totals.
Please know if you want a receipt just ask!

These guys work too hard they need to get a can smasher and a bottle smasher because the bottles fly all over and fall over some times. They definitely do it the hardest way possible. Line takes a long time but they work too hard. 5 star for work ethic.
Soo many RED FLAGS with this place and I’ll definitely never be going back. For starters, when I parked my car one of the employees thought it was ok to smoke a joint right next to my car. Then when I finally got to the front of the line for them to weigh my cans, bottles, and glass, the same employee lost count after 3 bins because of how high he was. When he finished weighing everything, the net weight was 9.81lbs, which is literally impossible considering I had to make 2 trips with a dolly just to carry the glass alone to the line (not including my crushed cans and plastic). Also, I’ve never been to a recycling place that doesn’t break down the weight, price , and type of material you brought on an itemized receipt to explain your total payout. And why are you guys not giving customer receipts and only present a merchant copy? This whole experience was extremely shady and felt like the employees were stealing money.
I recently took a variety of household recyclables, including paper, plastic, and metal, to this recycling center. The staff were incredibly helpful and ensured everything was sorted properly, making the process quick and efficient. The facility was clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate. They also offered great rates, making the service highly affordable while promoting environmental responsibility. I feel confident that my recyclables were processed in an eco-friendly manner. Excellent value for top-notch service!
Very friendly younger guy helped me. As others have mentioned, area is nice and clean. This was my first time there and I definitely plan going back from now on.
The guys working were very helpful. Liked the quickness with which I was served and very happy about the experience. Will use this place again for my recycling.
I like that the place was clean and the two of the guys were nice. However, I think I get better pricing elsewhere. I got less then I got for 3 small bags of just plastic bottles somewhere else over the bottles,cans and amount of glass I brought in today. I like the openess and cleanliness but for pricing I'll have to go elsewhere.
Friendly and efficient! First time going and I wasn't quite sure what their rules were. I made a mistake not sorting some different kinds of plastic but one of the gentlemen helped me go through and sort it. If I would have sorted beforehand and had crushed my bottles and cans I probably could have been in and out in less than 10 minutes.
This is about the fairest place around, better than the other two there is in Antioch think you know the ones I'm talking about, they are courteous, clean, honest, and I always feel I'm being treated very fair when I come here, there is never variance issues with weight, I normally bring about the same every time and the payout is around the same, I highly recommend coming here first. They are open Tuesday thru Sunday 9:30-4:30
This was my first time I’ve never done recyclable before but I really like the gentleman that was dealing with me. I guess he’s the owner but he was very very very nice and very very helpful and very patient with me. I would recommend and I’ll definitely be back.
I'm big on customer service and Pavel was very kind helped me sort "even tho that's my teenagers job.." and we chopped it up for a bit since I was basically the only one there. I recommend this place. I came because it had the best reviews and I wasn't disappointed
The owner is a very nice young man and helped me and my wife separate our recyclables. We were able to finish up very quickly and got taken care of very well. Will come back soon
The owner was friendly and personable making our first visit very easy and enjoyable. We had a bunch of plastic and a tiny bit of both aluminum and glass. The owner didn’t have any odd rules and we felt the rate was fair. This will be our recycling location moving forward.
I always bring my recycling to Pavel. He provides a little sink and hand sanitizer so I can wash my hands after handling dirty cans and bottles. The other recyclers don't even think of that simple thing. It says a lot about how he thinks of his customers.
He's very quick about sorting everything so it's all over so quick. I drive in, start pulling out the stuff and he already has the bins ready for me to go. No waiting in line.
Tried Pavels' today and it was a great experience! Very nice guy just starting up. Fair pricing for plastic bottles and aluminum cans that he keeps updated online. The area is clean and easy to access (on the side of Mtn Mike's. As he's still new, the wait was minimal (which I don't think will last as word of mouth gets out) and much closer to where we live than anywhere else will definitely be going back! (This review is from 2 mos ago and moved to Google who cares, from a different review service)
Update - We have been back and Pavel is so nice! He's conveniently located and posts prices. Honest guy just trying to make a living.
Best recycling experience ever! Pavel has impeccable customer service skills. We had great conversation and I felt like I was talking to an old friend. On top of that, I only had about 15 minutes to spare and he got me in and out in 10! The amount of cash I received was actually more than what I expected, so that was a definite plus! One of the best parts is he has a portable sink where I was able to wash my hands…I love that idea! 10/10 will definitely recommend Pavel to my friends, family and strangers!
Soooooo much more convenient than where we previously have been going! Located right behind Mountain Mike's Pizza in the Raley's shopping center on Lone Tree. Their days and hours open are more realistic for working folks, Wednesday-Sunday from 10am- 6pm. Since it's so close, we can turn in our recycling more often so it's not taking up space on our side yard. Pavel , the owner, was very nice. Let's support this new small business owner. Keep this local recycling center going!
We went to Pavels today and we were amazed at how quickly and and smoothly it all went. The owner is very professional and courteous. This will be our new place for all our recycling. Highly recommend it!
