I am not happy with the Livermore Napa Auto Parts. They seem to be closing early on Saturday's instead of staying open till 5pm. I'm not sure if it is another computer problem like the last experience I had. This last experience, I had my son go down to get a part that I ordered online, which was ready for pickup, but they closed again at 3:30pm on a Saturday, which they still advertise as being open till 5pm. I consider that false advertisement and will not shop there again.
NAPA auto parts stores typically serve professionals and not shade tree mechanics. The people behind the counter are reasonably competent but you had better know what you want before you go in. And remember NAPA is very good at supplying parts for Detroit iron so their stock of anything that didn't come from Detroit is relatively limited.
Ordered a battery on line, said they would have it the next day. Never got a call the following day, had to call and check. In fact the guy said it would be another day for the battery that i ordered and was rude. Asked him to cancel the order. Ordered it from Pleasanton Napa, they had it within an hour. And Livermore never canceled the order had to follow up yet again.
Historic is very rude lied about things and did not back up anything that Napa said about a warranty I strongly suggest everybody stay away from this place it's extremely dishonest place
Easy online order for pickup. They have a lot of accessories in their show room. Staff were courteous and helpful. Easy parking. Located just a couple of blocks from downtown. Been buying car batteries and tools here.
They say wear a mask on here but you get there and none of the employees are wearing a mask. When ask if they wear masks both employees said no. I said goodbye and went to a responsible auto parts store OREILLYs that put their Customers health 1st. So to Napa Auto Part in Livermore on Chestnut enjoy the lost business and thank the other stores for caring about the rest of us.
The new owners have taken over the area where the defunct hair salon was. They have opened it all up and really expanded their inventory.
They usually have what i need. Only downside is they really overcharge for filters. So i have never opened an account for my business there yet.
Overall, a good place for parts.
Nice store, fairly packed. Good size. Old fashion parts store with an old timer behind the counter with some experience. Hes been there a long time. If they don't have it, they can get it over night from their huge warehouse in Fresno and later the next day from Sac.
Best auto parts store in Livermore. The knowledge you get from the guys behind the counter makes the the less-than-ideal store hours totally worth it. Employees who have been in the industry and know cars really make this Napa an easy choice. Plus they have the weird stuff like low volume specialty tools and fittings that other mainstream auto parts stores won’t carry.
My battery just died while moving out of our old house. Called NAPA and they brought me a battery within 30 minutes. I'm so appreciative to Rick and the other employees who made it possible to get my daughter to swim class on time. They were awesome!
