This was my first time getting tires replaced from Walmart, and I was pleasantly surprised! The service I received was quick, efficient, very reasonably priced and extremely friendly. Shout-out to Kimmie at the front desk and Robert in the shop!
I have been to this auto shop a few times for my car. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The mechanic will also explain patiently when I have questions about my car’s issues. Moreover, the ladies at the reception area are super helpful.
The shop has excellent Service that the counters have been absolutely great. I went down the aisle look for something, and this lady assisted me and help me out. Shout out to the Tire Shop Team been really really great
Changed my car batteries twice here, both experiences were smooth and painless. Batteries are sold in competitive price with free installation and a light touch of terminal cleaning and anti-corrosion. One can expect some typical Walmart chaos, but nothing particularly concerning. Consider calling in to check for availability before going.
Walked in prior to 1pm left 3 hours later with a bigger bill and a mess.
Called ahead for 215/55/r16 tires (2) for the PASSENGER front and rear. I was informed my tires had ‘W’ rating. Something about not mixing ratings on tires and they could sell me ‘V’ rating. Fine. I explained I had a replacement tire months ago and a rotation last week so the New tire was DRIVER SIDE FRONT.
Once again I came for Passenger side front and rear tires. 2 tires. The man mentioned that they would need to rotate—Fine. I get a call locked lugnuts…They cannot remove nor replace. Fine.
Took my car to Honda and had them remove the locked lugnuts since I never was given the key for it . Brought it back. Again stated to the female staff Passenger side Front and Rear and that that the guy had mentioned rotation. 278$ later…..
Pull my car out and I drive and the car feels off. Wobbly. The TPMS flashes on my dash. I pull over at a gas station. Whoa and behold!
(2) fresh greased tires DRIVER SIDE FRONT and PASSENGER SIDE FRONT. This cannot be happening! I looked at the paperwork and then called Livermore Walmart. The girl stated the mechanics and the man who was handling the order was gone. Allegedly she “checked” their bin and two tires she found were bald assuming were removed off mine.. I’m like no. The Passenger side FRONT and REAR were bald. They replaced my good tire (Driver F) with a brand new one and the Passenger Front that I came in for. The left my rear passenger tire wobbly (not like that prior) and bald (not replaced).
Worst part is, this lady is the one who checked me in the second time. The paperwork they give you does not match the document they hand you at the end. Worst part is given it was not safe to take the freeway, I was stuck going through the backroads to get to a tire place in the late afternoon.
So there I am stuck with a now WOBBLY REAR PASSENGER tire that I had just taken in for replacement. I had to go somewhere else and purchase a 3rd tire.
If you go here. Mark your tires and take pictures prior. That does not even top the fact I had grease on my tan seats.
Save yourself time and effort and go somewhere else. I wasted an entire day. If you have to use their services, I suggest you keep a close watch.
The minute I witnessed an auto tech overfill and blow up a tire, I should have backed up and gone elsewhere. Yeah— you read that right.
Oh yeah. No tire rotation done. Stating it was declined. Why was I quoted and paid and the it was not done? Shady
Corrie at Livermore automotive is an angel on earth! I do a lot of shopping at Walmart as well as other stores and she is by far the most knowledgeable, patient and respectful customer service representative I have come across in a long time. I was very irritated by my tire needing a replacement but her demeanor completely changed my attitude towards it. I appreciate her and hope she goes far in the company!
Came for an oil change yesterday, it was an extremely easy process. Found out I had a bad air filter so got that replaced as well, the technicians themselves demonstrated to me how bad my filter was. All the staff were professional and nice.
I found their tire prices competitive. They might seem a bit disorganized in the first glance, but
don't get put off by that. The staff in the auto center are very friendly, in spite of being super busy. Corrie at rhe front desk was very nice, she looked at my issue and directed me to the right people. My tire installation process for the online order was smooth and got done in less than hour for a prescheduled appointment. The actual staff in the auto center who attended to my car were also approachable. It was my first time here but I was pleasantly surprised. I will be coming here for my future needs. Thanks to the team here.
I was in a bind when I went to a Walmart location to get my tires installed, but was told they couldn’t do it after my tires had shipped there from a purchase at walmart.com. I called the Livermore facility and Robert the manager took my case and was able to assist me to get my tires installed. He was courteous, informative, most importantly kind. He has an amazing crew working for him and from observing their teamwork they really like working together. I believe all this is because of Robert leadership. Kudos to Kimmy Eldred, Corrie and the rest of the team who assisted. It is such love of customer service that makes people wanna come back again. Thank you again.
Extremely poor service. Even though I had a flat tire and was there 30 min before closing they wouldn't take me in. To not even want to help speaks volumes of them. They don't care about customers.
The two ladies working the auto center. Kim and the ladie with the glasses (forgot her name) they always so nice and happy. I go here almost daily. They always treat me good. Thank you A+++
All the stuff was nice and friendly and so professional, they done the oil change for my truck with out appointment in just 30 minutes, everything was really good
Zero stars. Everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. Service is of Walmart minimum wage quality. Auto technician and cashier employees all clueless. They checked in my car but didn’t have oil filter and made me buy it. Then called me and told me they also don’t have the synthetic oil and wanted me to buy it. And lube place that doesn’t have filter or oil. Credit card machines didn’t work. I ended up paying $130 for an advertised 58.88 oil change. And then tech couldn’t figure out how to reset service message. Clown show.
I bought Halloween orange globe lights right before Halloween when I used them only 1/2 of string worked. Brought them back to return when convenient 1 week later and they denied a return since it was after Halloween. I was so angry I grabbed my receipt and just left my return on the counter. I paid 14$ plus tax…what a rip off. I used to support Walmart over Amazon…..not any more. No longer am I a loyal customer
August 1, 2023 I came to change the oil in the engine to the Walmart Auto Care Centers in Livermore (2700 Las Positas Rd). They took my car in for service. Oil did not leak from the engine of my car, the car was in good condition. But after 30 minutes they told me that the bolt could not be pulled out of the pan. Oil flowed straight to the ground. The bolt could not be pulled out or tightened. They told me that they could not help me with anything and just drove my car to the parking lot near the Walmart. They didn't help me. I had to bring my car right there to the body shop in Livermore. In the workshop, they found out that the bolt had been torn off and the oil was leaking to the ground. The carving was broken. I paid $520 for a new engine pan and repair. I'm going to consult a lawyer! I do not recommend this place to anyone.
Four months ago, i was there at this location during the closing time to change my car headlights and wiper blades and they did change it. As soon as i started my car, my check engine light was on and by the time, i went again to check with the technician, they closed the auto section. Later i released and found that, they drained my oil though i didn't go for oil change. So i was driving the car without oil and then went to a local car repair center to fill up the oil and the check engine went off after the oil change. On that day, i found that my hyundai engine cover was taken off by walmart folks and never fitted back the engine cover to the engine. NEVER GO TO THIS LOCATION !! THIEVES, CHEATS and CARELESSNESS AT THIS LOCATION!!
Very affordable place for oil change. I do not think anyone in the town can beat their rate for oil change ($34.88 for Prennzoil motor oil). You can rely on them for tire change and battery replacement as well. They were very quick to perform oil change on my car. I'll visit them whenever I need these services.
Arrived at Walmart 3-6-23. Two people working. The kid that helped me was clueless. Didn’t know anything about cars? And had no idea what kind of oil they use. Very unprofessional and not helpful, needs training. I asked him many questions and he had no clue. I decided to go get my oil change from someone who at least knows something about automobiles!. Take your business to a professional!
Ok so just the amount of times I haven’t been attended, bc they can’t do my tires is ridiculous. The staff do what they want pretty much. They never decide what their hours are and no matter which day you go they come up with something saying they can’t do service for you. The staff can be very mean sometimes as well, and they don’t seem to be very knowledgeable either. You are better and safer if you go to other auto care centers like the one in Fremont osgood rd
I went into this location *first* thing in the morning to get new tires mounted (that I ordered online and had shipped to their location). Because I went ahead of rush times, it was no problem at all. Took maybe an hour, I walked around and shopped til it was ready. All the staff in the store was nice, no issues, very affordable, very happy
I have used Walmart for years having only good experiences. One weekend I took my truck there for an oil change. The next day there was a puddle of oil under my truck. The filter was not tightened. Two day later my air cleaner light came on....this was supposedly checked and deemed ok? Go on weekdays for better service.
Got 4 new tires on my Honda Civic and a synthetic oil change (good for 10k miles) all for only $280. Included a warranty on tires for damages for the life of the tires.
Came back today because one of them had a leak and they replaced it with a new one for free! So happy! Only had to pay $10 for another warranty on the new tire.
