This place is very efficient, people or staff very helpful and the area always clean and organized. Cashiers inside nice and owner is very professional ( A little too serious but does his job ) maybe smile ?
I recently took a load of scrap metal to this recycling center and was thoroughly impressed. The staff was incredibly friendly and efficient, quickly unloading my materials. They provided excellent service, offering competitive prices for scrap metal. The whole process was fast, simple, and environmentally conscious. It’s great to know that they follow eco-friendly practices while offering great value for my recyclables. Definitely a place I'll return to next time I have scrap to get rid of.
I never recycled anything and excepted some guidance when I arrived with my bag of cans. What I got was 6 underpaid Mexican workers who barely knew English and 6 mins later I got a receipt but I don’t know how to get cash back. The speed was good but the language barrier and lack of a system made it really confusing.
What has this state turned into.
I did not like the way the employee the was checking the weight of the bottle was talking to me he was extremely rude every other employee were great except for one it was today around 8:50am he was a short Mexican guy I honestly don’t think I’ll ever come back when he’s around.
I can't believe this Sonora Murphree down there, are you kidding me?!? 1 star, for a place you've been coming to for 10 years, that you yourself say has great service, and your only gripe about the place is that it inconveniences you when it's a holiday weekend and they take a 3 day weekend for the holiday?!? WHAT?!? Do you hear yourself lady?? You got some kinda nerve, 1 star pfft. If it's 1 star, then stop goin. It might be a business but it ain't Burger King, you can't have it your way and they're not here to serve you, they should be able to take a 3 day weekend for the holidays just like every other business that's not in the service industry. They enjoy life to ya know.
I've been coming here for 20+ years. Only place worth going to. Gotta love that they have 2 separate areas, one for cans, plastic, glass, and the other side for scrap metal. Which is nice because when I got a bunch of steel or copper I don't wanna have to wait behind Joe mama with their 16 bins of recyclables. On top of that, they bust @$$ here, it's not just a bunch of dudes standing around twiddling their thumbs. They work hard and that's easy to see that they are speedy, fast, and efficient.
Before you visit, separate your cans, plastic bottles, and glass to make the trip easier:)
You'll drive in through the farthest entrance and one of the super friendly and helpful employees will hand you some empty bins. Just like you separated earlier, you will dump all cans and bottles in separate bins and bring them to the garage where they'll be weighed. The employee hands you a receipt which you'll bring to the office, left of the garage, where you'll be paid out.
Definitely worth coming here to Livermore, I suggest that if you live in Concord make the drive !! To this location very fair unlike Concord recycling center they Definitely do you shady !
Ur no good recycling in this store , we gave 5 bags of more then 80 bottles in each bag their store only refund around$ 8
They scales the bottles but the bottles it charged our customers the cv fee 0.05 each

This establishment is worth going to for your recycling needs. Employees are extremely helpful. The prices are fair. I recommend this place to everyone. Serious scraping can be accommodated.
They have always been helpful, and generally prompt, even when I've arrived at a busy time. They've even helped me unload my recyclables. Rates are posted and easy to read, and they've answered any questions I've had. I've been very satisfied with RRC.
Only recycle center that I will go to. As a smaller sized female it is the ONLY recycling center that my husband is ok with me going to, too! They are always extremely helpful and nice. Their rates are the highest around and for a recycling center they keep it pretty clean. Go early cuz it can get pretty busy
Nice people, they helped bring your cans to empty everything into. Once done, they even came to help put the cans on the scale for you. They gave you a ticket and you had to take it into their office, sign & they gave you cash for your recyclables. Easy & nice people. Definitely will be back again.
This place is the best. The lady at counter is friendly and so are the outdoor workers. I pulled up with a big truck load of mixed stuff and the guy who works there came over and helped me. Saved me alot of time. Wish I got his name.
The gentlemen here are always very helpful. They help with whatever they can and really work hard to make everyone’s experience a good one. It does get very crowded on weekends and there’s not much room to park, so go on weekdays preferably. The woman at the desk is also always very friendly. All around this recycle center does a very good job!
The staff is awesome they work very hard to get everyone in and out of there. They are courteous and professional. The place is busy on the weekends but it moves fast. Good place.
It's a busy place. Waited 20 min around lunch & couldn't figure out what I should do. Came back 2 hrs later and drove right up. Very easy and the employees were so nice. Don't forget to tip! These guys work hard.
I have been recycling here for more than 10 years. The staff are always friendly and efficient and the owner is always working along side of them, which I think is great. I always try to sort my CRV items before arriving at any recycling center. This helps the process to be quicker and less frustrating. The parking area at this location is small so can easily get congested by people parking/sorting where they please. If you fluster or are annoyed easily, like myself, then consider sorting before arriving, as well.
For the passed year Ive been bringing my recyclables here and I totally recommend this place. Even if there’s a lot customers, they get you in & out super quick. The employees are very helpful & their Customer service is really good. Thank You & Happy Holidays!

Been going to this place since 2013. They stay pretty up to date on their prices, and they can accommodate most anything you bring in. They used to accept appliances but as of today " 9-17-20 " they no longer accept them. Separate area for bringing in can and bottles as opposed to heavier loads, so there isn't much of a wait time. A lot of places are closing down due to Covid and not being able to scrap, but this place has stood strong. If you have recycling, support your local business and go here.
Quick transaction, I was in and out in about 5 minutes on a weekday. I did only have 2 large bags. I unloaded into the bin, they scanned through the bottles, weighed. Got a receipt and got cash next door.
You might not expect to find great service and friendly people working at a place like this. What I mean is that the crew is working pretty hard moving all this metal around all day and even at the end of the day they are still pretty happy to be dealing with the general public. It is always enjoyable to work with the guys.
Been coming here for almost 10 yrs & always have a great experience. They always help me unload my car AND helps empty my bags . The girls in the office are always nice & the woman weighing cans always brings you in to show you what your #'s are - most other places just grunt & hand you a receipt.
