With keeping things in order
My family moved out of a condo, and they left garbage in two green containers that didn’t belong there, and the landlord was throwing a fit. So we needed a junk hauler to come and remove the garbage and get rid of it. First of all, it was difficult finding a hauler that would call you back. Finally, I got in touch with Junk King of Contra Costa but I got the runaround. I had to repeatedly tell them that I needed a quote right away, as I was checking with other haulers to get quotes for comparisons, and they told me I could send them pictures in order to give me a quote right away. I sent the pictures but again no one will call me back so I had to call them again. They finally gave me a quote over the phone after 6 PM. Society has changed so much. This incompetency is quite common with business nowadays. I was not pleased with the overall service I received from this company. But, I was in a bind, so I had to go with what they provided.
Absolutely terrible and unprofessional l. Would never use them again and would NEVER recommend. Threw my couch and loveseat over a third floor railing not even carrying it down the stairs when they had 2 guys. One of which was a literal body building giant. That however does NOT mean he can just man power his way through peoples houses damaging walls, breaking lights and then so carelessly, recklessly, unprofessionally throws the furniture over the outdoor railing?? 0 stars. Awful. Do not use them.

First appointment - no show - called 4 pm for a 12 to 2 pm window saying truck broke down and if they can come at 5pm - complained and got rescheduled to Tuesday
Second appointment - got a call saying we can’t make it in time for a 2-4 schedule and can you disassemble the machine as we might not have the tools. I mean why would I pay $200 only for me to disassemble the machine - I could at that point just move it myself if I could do that
Cancelled and booked with competitor I have them 2 chances to rectify I can never rely on them again.
I enjoyed my experience and they were very awesome and quick. I appreciated it and made my move smooth. It was same day service, a estimate a great price and handled my stuff on the spot
I bought new metress though AMAZON , and this company must to come pick it up but didn't do and realize that the driver report to no one waren't there so, couldn't pick it up.
Totally liying ,there were 4familly member in the home and the thing is mettress sit out side.

Had an appointment for furniture pickup with the Contra Costa County franchise. As the end of my arrival window approached I reached out to customer service for an ETA update. They told me the team appeared to be enroute and that I would receive a call in 5-10 minutes. About an hour passed with no update so I called again, same response. The customer service team couldn't get in contact with the pickup crew but they would call me in 5-10 minutes. Yet another hour passed with no contact. An hour or so after my window another team not originally assigned to my appointment reached out to me and came to make the pickup. They were great. Helpful, quick, and respectful. I feel like the customer service team did they best they could but overall not happy with my experience today. Would have given less stars if it hadn't been for the customer service team and the team that eventually helped me. Have had good experiences with Junk King in the past so not sure what happened this time around
Junior snd Bai were kind and friendly and hardworking They did a difficult and messy job for me that I am unable to do myself right now because of disabilities and recent surgery cheerfully, quickly, and skillfully
After doing a price-comparison with our regular waste management company, it cost 50% less to use Junk King with better perks including more flexibility on allowable items, accepting e-waste and appliances, mattress option, and more rental time. Jung King proved to be the king after all. I procrastinated on a pile on the side of my house for a couple months, adding to it every now and then, got to a point. I decided to see how much it would be to have someone pick it up instead of having a dumpster come. Miguel and Sam took care of the pile in no time and the price was very , very reasonable. Next time I won’t wait so long ,I will call them immediately. They were awesome. Between my first call and when they drove away was only 3 1/2 hours, very timely service. I am very satisfied with their service I would recommend them to anyone who asks about this type of service…
If i could give them a 0 i would. First they arrive 4 hours late, the arrival window was 12-1 they arrived at almost 5. I asked some people to come help but couldnt do anything because the dumpster was not there so wasted their time. By the time they came the sun was almost gone. Offered no compensation nothing. On top of that they add more fees that are not stated anywhere but when the boss calls u for payment. STAY AWAY FROM THEM SCAMS

The Junk King representative, Lucky, arrived right on time and was the most pleasant person I’ve spoken to in a very long time. He did anything I wanted, and we had nice chats while he worked. He cleaned up everything and asked if he could do anything more for me. And he was just so pleasant. If I had a business, I would hire him. Thanks to Junk King for having such wonderful employees. The gentleman that came by to give us an estimate and also the gentleman that came by and took our first (so far) load away were polite, courteous and professional. They showed up within the window agreed upon and advised us prior to arrival. The price was as previously agreed upon with no surprises. They were careful removing everything from the home and didn’t so much as scratch a wall.
The only problem we ran into was with the office person who we reached out to in order to find out the accepted methods of payment. We were told that there was no additional fee to pay with a credit card but when we attempted to pay the crew they advised us that there was a 3 percent fee. The crew waited patiently while we ran out to get cash.
Overall, it has been a pleasure working with Junk Kings!
It was a day before the new owners took over my house & I was stressing about all the junk still left over. Junk King came the same day. They cleared out everything, including a broken beverage fridge. They even helped take apart foam tile flooring. My stress levels went from 9 to 3 in the 20 mins they were here. Their price beat out every other place I called. The workers were super friendly and fast. I've already recommended them to 2 of my friends and after moving into my next house, I know I'll be calling them again to pick up after my purge!
They called and offered to come by earlier than my scheduled appointment which happened to work out great! (Also he was very clear there was no pressure to change, they just happened to be near by with extra time). They were very friendly and worked quickly. I asked for a phone quote (they quote you when they arrive for accuracy) and he said I could send pics so he could give it over the phone so that I didn't have to wait. It was excellent! Very reasonable and after they loaded up my old sectional, they charged slightly less than the quote! 100% will use them again this spring after cleaning. Honest, friendly and caring! 10 of 10 would recommend!
