I am from Texas and for as big an operation as this place was it was quick, efficient and the people who worked with me to get everything unloaded and cataloged were very professional and helpful. I will definitely use this location any time I have the opportunity l.
Terrible service. Tried to sell wire waste and gutted electrical boxes. The worker was very rude and when I asked for another worker to help me out I was asked to leave and refused service.
I was hesitant to sell my brass bed to a recycling center due to so many different recycling reviews, but I must say I'm quite pleased with Aaron Metals. The gentleman that aided me outside was kind and professional. The only thing strange is that they requested my driver's license and did not explain why, the second thing is that they at the cashier office they took the statement he handed me and merely handed me the cash. They don't give you a receipt.
I love going to this particular location it's more spacious, clean, and organize , and the sense of ergency is barnone the best in the bizz. They are accommodating. Everyone one knows that aarons metals gives the best price when it comes to recycle your metals, and the like.
Highly suggest coming here at the hayward location.
I have years going there and always got a fair price I can said 5 stars, but the last two times I went there, there is new person named Tom. The first time he weighed one thing and wrote that it weighed less than it did on paper. The second I had 5 different containers and he only paid me for 4 and I had to wait in the car (because of the pandemic) and I'm was sure what I had.
I wrote this with the hope that some in Aaron's see it. and can understand why isn't he honest with their customers, I thought the first time was a mistake but two times isn't a mistake he shouldn't be working directly with customers.
I took in some 6061 aircraft aluminum the guy working told me it wasn't and only gave me 10 cents a pound. I have not been back since. I would not recommend Aaron's metals to anyone who wants to get fair value for their metal. A friend took in titanium and the person working that day said, " how do I know if it is titanium I will have to test it". Not trained enough to recognize the characteristics of titanium. Strong and light in weight. Obvious to all others but not Aaron's. On a 1 to 10 scale I rate them a 2.5 based on my experience and my friends experience.
Just dropped off 9 bags of AL cans. Clean, courteous, efficient, friendly - I will return and will recommend Aaron Metals to my neighbors, friends and coworkers. Its easy to get to - Eden Landing/Clawriter exit off Hwy 92 - go over 92 -then less than 1 mile to Aaron Metals entrance. Pull in (back into space), someone (assistant) will help unload the cans into bin, then you park your car, enter the building, meet up with your assistant who will direct you to the Manager (in center of weigh area)-- very friendly! After receiving voucher, the cash pay out is just a couple of steps (still inside building). The whole area is Clean, and folks friendly. I called ahead to ensure they were open today (MLK) and the woman who answered was super responsive and friendly. She confirmed that they are cash-back for CA CRV products, confirmed the time they close, and that there was no issue with coming from San Mateo County. She explained that they have a 100lb limit/day for AL cans, and said she hoped we visited them soon. I will return - great place!!!
Went there with bunch of snow chains for semi trucks, guy pulled out his magnet, stuck it to the chain and goes" oh thats metal, we dont take metals, take it to that place on winton". Wait whaaaaat! Metal recycling not taking metals, I'm confused.
Service with a smile from everyone. The place is well-run and organized. The young fellow in-charge is especially helpful. After telling me that I can't have glass bottles mixed in with the plastics, he sorted my bags for me.
Quick and easy. You pull up, wait for assistance, they unload it all for you, then you go measure it out at the desk inside and get paid (payment type varies). Super convenient and more organized than Oakland location.
When I moved to Hayward more than 2 yard ago, I had no clue where to go. Found this place and have continuously returned ever since. Prices are good and I honestly have no complaints about the line and customer service. I’ll be back!!!
I’ve been going to Aaron metals for a couple of months now and I have found their prices to be fair and just. But I will definitely be going to a new place soon. Only to come back again
I have been taking my cans there for about 4 years. They always had helped me in a nice way. But this time a woman helped me out with my cans and she was in a bad mood and was ignoring me with a question I asked her. Bad service with the female. Is a Hispanic short female about 5" 2 tall. Very skinny. And totally gave me a bad attitude and a horrible service. I don't think I will ever go there again after all this year's year's in trusting them.
They are pretty help full and they have decent prices for recycling. I like coming here rather than going anywhere near where I live. I live in Redwood city.
Decent price for recycled plastic bottles. The lady collecting was not very helpful, she did not speak English and understood even less. The older gentleman came over and even though he spoke very little English, he had excellent customer service skills.
Best place I've found in terms of prices for recycling. However, a lot of the employees here seem to be in a bad mood. Plus, everytime I come here they tell me something different about separating plstic. Sometimes they want it separated, other times they don't. They need to be a little bit more consistent here.
Typically go in because I am a trusting customer in Aaron Metals prices and services for recycling. But there is one particular employee whom I do not trust because of many times that I have gone it seems that my product is deemed less per pound only when they calculate my material brought in. Just another reason why companies fail is particularly because of the female staff and their scheming business practices in regards to honest American patrons who do right by recycling.
Top dollar for your aluminum cans fast service seems like they were very honest I would go there again 100 pounds get $200 problem is you can only turn in 100 pounds a day but virtue hundred bucks I would definitely make another trip from Antioch to Hayward for that kind of money my book top rated five stars plus one
Always trying to get over on you by entering wrong type of material (cheaper) in computer than what you really had. Make sure your ticket is rite before you leave.
this is a very clean, efficient place to go to recycle glass, CV plastic, aluminum cans. I got a better price on cans from them than the one on Winton in Hayward. The place was clean, the people very helpful and friendly. It is easy to find.
I believe 98% of these places should change their names to straight "recycling" because they do not take ferrous material.
Great place for "recyclables" though.
