My experience with these guys, they towed my car from my community 0.5miles away to their yard. I asked them for the tow cost they said $490. Asked them for reason of tow, they initially said they were asked to tow by my community management. I asked okay, show me proof of request from my apartments, they said they don't have any proof, and that someone called, asked them to tow, and they towed. Stood there for an hour asking proof of tow request by the management, they simply said they got a phone call and they towed my car. I don't know who they got a call from, no written request was shown. After seeing the bill, I asked them, for transporting 0.5 miles why am I being charged $490, and to give me an itemized bill. Wanted to knoe what costed them to arrive at a sum total of $490. They spoke with their boss and then replied, no discounts. I said i dont want a discount, and give me the itemized split for why they are charging $490 for a 0.5 mile tow and that I was not asking for a discount. They said there is no itemized bill they charge everyone who they tow $500. And they use specialized equipment. I have images of my car's tire marks dragged over 10meters before loading. I would like to assume they towed my car for no reason, just because they wanted some hand cash. I would also like to think that they do this a lot, charge people like me unreasonable amount of money since most usually don't take it to the cops or escalate.
I called these guys to see if they could tow a tour bus. Robin assured me they could. They left their yard at 6:50 pm and got to my bus at around 8:15 pm not bad with traffic. His employees fumbled around for somewhere around 3 hours. At which time their dispatcher told them to leave the bus. Not only did they just leave my driver they never called me to let me know what was happening. I only knew about this because of what my driver was relaying back to me. I cannot believe this is the kind of service they have. If they did not know what they were doing he should have said so. Bad customer service.
The tow driver was painfully slow. No pricing was discussed nor an hourly rate. It was off peak hours. Once arrived at repair shop was quoted $600 and hung up by owner when I argued with pricing quote. Overall it was a terrible experience and I would recommend anyone else
