A GEM OF A PLACE for crafters, artists, hobbyists looking to find odds and ends to make whatever or decorate! Frida, the owner, is super friendly and made all the different art pieces on display! If you're looking to find decor for an event, I would go here first to save the environment (giving them a second life / not going into the landfill) and at great prices! You may have to do a bit of digging, but that's part of the fun :) There are also a good amount of secondhand costume jewelry and lots of random wooden boxes, old greeting cards, so many streamers! I found some paper lanterns and other hanging decor. Frida was also kind enough to show me how to arrange balloons in a flower shape. I'll definitely be back again :)

This is a great place to buy art supplies and crafting supplies at a reduced price. Shopping second hand is good for the environment! The owner is very nice and has original artwork displayed that was made from recycled materials. It's inspiring and illustrates what you can do with stuff that might otherwise be on its way to the trash. There is a huge variety of stuff. You might find oddball stuff like a box of bottle caps or drink tabs or empty yogurt crockery, junk jewelry, mosaic supplies, pigments, sewing machines, books. Itry to look here first before going to a regular art supply store or online. Types of things that I've purchased: Paints (acrylic, oli, and watercolor), colored pencils, art pencils, erasers, pens, paper, card stock & envelopes, shipping envelopes, fabric, sewing supplies, index cards and more.

They store was way organized for what I was expecting for a reuse store. I donated some yarn and bought a cool scrap book. Would definitely recommend.

This is my favorite place to buy craft supplies; fabric, paint, frames, holiday decor, gift wrap, pins, and more. The couple that runs the store are the sweetest! Please shop here and support small business :)

This place is small but CRAMMED with all kinds of used and donated craft materials, including sewing. It's right on san pablo on the west side of the street. Set your phone timer so you don't get a ticket because you were engrossed in looking through everything. Take your extra craft materials here and donate them. Bring your half finished, never going to be finished projects. The art supplies you or a friend or family member no longer use. Sewing and craft books you no longer want. Also donate gift bags or other decent bags that can be used. The owner uses them to put your purchases in so she is not buying new bags. My purchases came home in a used wine bottle gift bag. Unfortunately, I don't think this place is wheelchair accessible due to narrow aisles, but a smaller walker might be OK.

Cool things, but VERY overpriced, especially compared to the other reuse store. Packs of stickers were $3 each, rubber stamps were $3 each on average (even for small ones), used markers were $2 each.

Pretty good place, STRONG smell of incense, cashiers not super friendly, and prices unreliable (generally really good but sometimes unexpectedly high). also it's messy and crowded, which would be cool if it didn't smell so bad

I love love love a junk store. I could spend hours here. Unfortunately, I could also spend too much money. I miss the days of actually cheap/affordable thrifting.

Love this place, I come here to fill piñatas, stockings, small toys for kids at school and gifts for my daughter. I also like finding high quality thick white paper to draw on. Highly recommend

Awesome place for any creative and curious souls out there. It’s a small shop right in front of San Pablo Ave but its small store front is but a guise to the large collection of miscellaneous items within the shop. It’s like if an antique shop, an arts and crafts shop, and my zany uncle’s garage had a baby. This place is interesting

This place is the place to go to get stuff you may use for art projects at home or for school. Just to go in there sparks new creative ideas because is not just stuff to figure out what to do with it but Frida creates art to help motivate the client at the same time that she shows her creativity, skills and care for the environment. She is an amazing person who is trying to contribute to the planet in her own way. You can expect sometimes to hear her points of view about how committed she is to avoid waste. This is a one of a kind store in Berkeley. You won’t regret it!! BTW, ask Frida to show you the incredible Catrinas she created for Dia De Los Muertos.

I come here all the time to purchase supplies for my craft projects. The prices are better than new supplies and I feel good about reusing materials that may have ended up in the landfill. Very cute and quirky, it’s got the charm of little shops before chains took over!

Just left the store. It's like a secret cave of treasures for artists and people who love crafts. Had a lovely conversation with the owner, Frida, and love the fact that she is so passionate about saving the planet for future generations. Also, the prices are really good. Am definitely coming back.

It was my first time coming here today and I was not disappointed! Great store for art supplies, crafting materials, vintage decor, etc. Stop here to get inspired for your next art project! There are also ongoing sales on a variety of items including frames (currently 70% off!!) I’m going to have to come back here every time I need to frame a picture, given how cost-effective it is and what a great selection of vintage frames they have. Plus the owner is super nice and friendly! Come here to support a local, female-owned, and environmentally friendly business!!

Absolutely love this store! Love supporting small businesses. There is so much stuff in here that can be upcycled and used in other craft or art projects. I always manage to find something. If you like to browse and find some "jewels" this is the place to go.

The shop owner, Frida, is so kind and a really cool person. Her work is amazing, and we spent a really long time chatting about art. I was there when she closed the shop, and we realized she lives half a mile from me. I ended up giving her a ride home, and have been wanting to go back ever since! Hoping to stop by this afternoon!

This place is so cool! There are lots of little treasures to discover. I could spend all day walking around and looking at all the cool things in this store. And all of it is recycled which is amazing too! I also love all the art that is hanging around. It’s really cool that Frida makes all of it herself. I am definitely going back!

I used to own a crafting business and had a lot of material I wanted to donate to a place I knew it would get used. After a quick Google search. I found this location and a few others. This location was the only one that said it would be open and we take crafting materials without too much hassle. Unfortunately, I forgot the nice woman who helped me, but being that she was the only person in the store and was also assisting myself and another man, she's someone I could not forget. I gave her about half of a Honda car full of things. Everything was placed up front and then I left. A pretty quick process. I'll definitely probably go back just to look through the store as the front of the store was extremely craft heavy. There's a huge flower wall project, I'm not even sure what to call it, but it's really beautiful.

Was disappointed the other day when I tried coming, they must’ve closed early but forgot to shut off the open lights. Went back today and the place is great! You really need to devote some time if you want to browse or find a specific thing. The owner is a really nice lady who said she made all the artistic displays. Worth checking out and getting your creative ideas going!

Amazing art store, just walking in there inspires and makes you excited to make art! At the same time you know you are helping the planet by using donated things ! Can’t wait to come back

I visit this place often.. It's not a business, it's a mission. Frida wants to change the world by turning throwaways into inexpensive art and craft supplies and beautiful art, and helping other people do the same. I love to bring her things and shop for gifts, goodies and supplies in her store. You will too, and bring the kids!

It is a brilliant place, due to its unique business idea, which is reuse discarded objects and turn them into useful commodities and arts for sell, and save our planet.

Frida is absolutely amazing! Her artwork is incredible and impressive. She keeps her store clean, neat, and organized, even though there is a ton to choose from. If you need anything at all for your art projects you will surely find it here as I know I did! Support her business as much as you can!!

Wonderful store! Family owned and operated. I spent a while talking to the owner, Frida. She was very friendly and helpful. Excellent materials for any and all arts and crafts. Unique items and good for the planet. They also accept donations of any art supplies if you have stuff to give.

I love a) supporting independent businesses b) making art and c) finding treasures that someone else threw away. So no surprise that this is one of my new favorite stores. The lady who works here is so nice and welcoming. Come donate art supplies or shop here!
