It’s a fun place but overpriced imo! I think they could move stuff through faster with more reasonable prices for used stuff .

Love this little gem, always something interesting here. Owners are so nice. I enjoy donating here as well.

What a lovely place! Lots of cool stuff. Staff was very friendly. The place is not huge but you can spend HOURS browsing and looking around. Love it. Will be back for sure!

I was able to recycle 2 long boards here. It was a very easy and smooth process.

The first time I came here, it was so fun! I bought all kinds of needle felting tools and materials. But the second time…no. I donated several yards of good fabric, along with coconut buttons and cones of polyester thread. I saw a cool large button that I was interested in buying and asked how much it cost. The owner said $1. I said, “Oh! It’s made from abalone shell. The owner then said, “Oh, then it’s more expensive”. Seriously??? I just donated a bunch of very nice fabric and buttons to your for-profit store. I didn’t say that, but I should’ve. I will not be returning.

I love going here for all of my oil and watercolor paint supplies. It's a wonderful place for so many things. I donated a bunch of at supplies that I wasn't using, many brand new. Keep an eye out because sometimes, but rarely, something might be marked more expensive than new. The people working here are the nicest ever.

This is such a empowering shop to donate to and to buy from! I'm always inspired by coming here even if it's only to donate. Family-owned business, warm vibes and great music: come see for yourself!

This is a great shop that has such great materials for all kinds of crafters from frames, beads, glitter, yarn, scrap booking, etc. The prices are so reasonable it can keep any crafter going without breaking the bank!
If you want reasonably priced crafting supplies please check this place out you won't be disappointed!Sep 30, 2025 -
Lot of material, need more space, not on time opening the day that I went, good service, know what they sell,

Love to come here for random stuff. This location is more disorganized that the Depot for Creative reuse, which had similar things, but is still good.

Absolute gem of a place ran by an absolute gem of a woman. Frida’s creations are all over the store for anyone short of inspiration. Both her and her husband were helpful with concerns over an item or questions on how to use them. Items are categorized well and each category has a great selection. The last picture shows the items I picked up my first time around. Will definitely be back and refer all of my crafty friends

I had the distinct privilege of visiting the Berkeley Reuse Arts and Crafts brick-and-mortar store on a recent trip to California. I feel so lucky and grateful to have met Marbella and found some great materials with which to make this cute gift for a dear friend of mine. I 100% recommend visiting this amazing store! Definitely a highlight of East Bay and I can't wait to come back and peruse more treasures in the future :)

Large selection of items to craft with or to use in creating art. It's probably easier to find what you need if you know what you are looking for before you arrive at the store. Some artists or crafters might be inspired based on random items in store.
Some interesting art for sale.Aug 20, 2025 -
This is a great place to buy art supplies and crafting supplies at a reduced price. Shopping second hand is good for the environment! The owner is very nice and has original artwork displayed that was made from recycled materials. It's inspiring and illustrates what you can do with stuff that might otherwise be on its way to the trash. There is a huge variety of stuff. You might find oddball stuff like a box of bottle caps or drink tabs or empty yogurt crockery, junk jewelry, mosaic supplies, pigments, sewing machines, books. I try to look here first before going to a regular art supply store or online.
Types of things that I've purchased: Paints (acrylic, oli, and watercolor), colored pencils, art pencils, erasers, pens, paper, card stock & envelopes, shipping envelopes, fabric, sewing supplies, index cards and more.
You can also donate usable items. I have started a habit of making a small bag of Donate-able items I am not going to use, and taking them in when I go to shop.Aug 10, 2025 -
A GEM OF A PLACE for crafters, artists, hobbyists looking to find odds and ends to make whatever or decorate!
Frida, the owner, is super friendly and made all the different art pieces on display! If you're looking to find decor for an event, I would go here first to save the environment (giving them a second life / not going into the landfill) and at great prices! You may have to do a bit of digging, but that's part of the fun :) There are also a good amount of secondhand costume jewelry and lots of random wooden boxes, old greeting cards, so many streamers! I found some paper lanterns and other hanging decor. Frida was also kind enough to show me how to arrange balloons in a flower shape. I'll definitely be back again :)May 15, 2025 -

This is my favorite place to buy craft supplies; fabric, paint, frames, holiday decor, gift wrap, pins, and more. The couple that runs the store are the sweetest! Please shop here and support small business :)

This place is small but CRAMMED with all kinds of used and donated craft materials, including sewing. It's right on san pablo on the west side of the street. Set your phone timer so you don't get a ticket because you were engrossed in looking through everything. Take your extra craft materials here and donate them. Bring your half finished, never going to be finished projects. The art supplies you or a friend or family member no longer use. Sewing and craft books you no longer want. Also donate gift bags or other decent bags that can be used. The owner uses them to put your purchases in so she is not buying new bags. My purchases came home in a used wine bottle gift bag. Unfortunately, I don't think this place is wheelchair accessible due to narrow aisles, but a smaller walker might be OK.

Awesome place for any creative and curious souls out there. It’s a small shop right in front of San Pablo Ave but its small store front is but a guise to the large collection of miscellaneous items within the shop. It’s like if an antique shop, an arts and crafts shop, and my zany uncle’s garage had a baby. This place is interesting

I come here all the time to purchase supplies for my craft projects. The prices are better than new supplies and I feel good about reusing materials that may have ended up in the landfill. Very cute and quirky, it’s got the charm of little shops before chains took over!

Just left the store. It's like a secret cave of treasures for artists and people who love crafts. Had a lovely conversation with the owner, Frida, and love the fact that she is so passionate about saving the planet for future generations. Also, the prices are really good. Am definitely coming back.

It was my first time coming here today and I was not disappointed! Great store for art supplies, crafting materials, vintage decor, etc. Stop here to get inspired for your next art project!
There are also ongoing sales on a variety of items including frames (currently 70% off!!) I’m going to have to come back here every time I need to frame a picture, given how cost-effective it is and what a great selection of vintage frames they have.
Plus the owner is super nice and friendly! Come here to support a local, female-owned, and environmentally friendly business!!Jun 06, 2023 -
Was disappointed the other day when I tried coming, they must’ve closed early but forgot to shut off the open lights. Went back today and the place is great! You really need to devote some time if you want to browse or find a specific thing. The owner is a really nice lady who said she made all the artistic displays. Worth checking out and getting your creative ideas going!

Amazing art store, just walking in there inspires and makes you excited to make art! At the same time you know you are helping the planet by using donated things ! Can’t wait to come back

It is a brilliant place, due to its unique business idea, which is reuse discarded objects and turn them into useful commodities and arts for sell, and save our planet.

Wonderful store! Family owned and operated. I spent a while talking to the owner, Frida. She was very friendly and helpful. Excellent materials for any and all arts and crafts. Unique items and good for the planet. They also accept donations of any art supplies if you have stuff to give.
