Juan was great!! My car broke down, i had to leave it overnight, super stressful. Next morning I called Toro towing and Juan was dispatched pretty much immediately. He actually got there before I did and waited for me to get there. Super courteous, professional, experienced at towing in all kinds of situations, strong communicator skills etc. So, that was a huge relief in a bad situation. 10/10 would recommend
They will say 30-60 minutes to everyone. It took them 90 minutes to show up in my case. They charge $50 hook up, $10 per mile, and a $20 service charge to use a credit card. I was towed 27 miles and paid $340. I found a article that says I was might have been overcharged by almost $100 for the max fees in California. Information below.
I was quoted at $320 and AFTER the tow was charge another $20 for a service fee to use a credit card. They said that was 5% (3.25% is standard for customers to pay) but it would have come to $16, so I ended up paying 6.25%. I had to call back twice. I was told 30-60 minutes. Called back after an hour. Told another 15 minutes. Called back after 20. Finally got a call from a driver saying they are 10 minutes away. Showed up 15 minutes later.
California Public Utilities Code § 22507.7 from 2022 states the max for is $160 for the first 10 miles, and $4 per mile after that. If you need an immediate tow, they call it an emergency. But that equation had me at $228. So this is where I might fight this. I called them to tell them this but they just told me the fee per mile ($10) and a hook up charge (not quoted). I paid $50 for the hook up, $10 per mile, and $20 to use a credit card.
The driver was courteous. Fees are high enough to warrant concern and a negative review.
AVOID. Horribly slow - never showed up. They lied to me repeatedly - I waited 2.5 hours after given a 30 minute ETA. They kept saying they were “5 minutes away” and never showed up.
They don’t answer the phone. Super rude and unapologetic.
DO NOT USE unless you want to wait longer than they promise. Extra hidden fees too. AVOID THIS SCAMMY PLACE
Horrible horrible horrible service!!!! I booked the appointment on 5/20/21 for 6/26/21 for towing 2 cars for arrival between 10-11, signed paperwork, waivers, etc.
On towing day, they called at 10:18 confirmed towing needs and said driver on way. I called at 11:15 am, informed them no driver, placed on hold, then driver called and said he was just called and it would take an hour to arrive.
Then when he arrived, he had to take each car individually as he didn’t have correct equipment.
This added over 3 more hours to my day for just the cars as the drive was 30 minutes one way. We were moving and it put everything behind.
I called spoke to Julie and said this is unacceptable, and you charged my credit card BEFORE the service was completed which I was not informed about when making appointment.
Julie stated at 12:43 that Gabrielle, supervisor would call me that day, it’s 2 days later and no phone call.
I am a nurse and work for a big hospital, know a lot of people. I will NEVER EVER recommend your business.

We had a really terrible experience with the tow service today. We called and scheduled a towing service that was set to be between 11 am-12 pm. We called at 12:10 pm again to ask about the possibility of a refund if we cancel the service, we were told that there would be no refund and we would be charged for a service we did not receive so we decided not to cancel and go ahead with the tow. Right after we got off the phone you charged us the price. At 12:40 we called again as there was still no tow car in sight and we were told that we cancelled the service although we decided and told not to cancel it earlier and to make it worse we were told that a driver did come and called us and texted the business that we were not there which is a complete lie as we were there the whole time and no tow car came and I received no calls..
They were pleasant at first, but then were more than an hour late and never communicated accurately with me. They took down addresses wrong, took 30 minutes to get me 2 miles, and charged me without asking me or telling me the cost. When I called for explanation and help, I was hung up on numerous times by people who told me conflicting stories and said they didn't have any way to help me. If they sent me a tow truck, shouldn't they have more information about what happened and why? They take no ownership of their work and it is evident that they don't care about their customers. I would NEVER call these people or work with them again.
Was driving up tunnel road towards highway 13 when a van cut me off and my car ended up stuck against the guard railing on the side of a hill, the professionals at Toro gave me a great price and helped put my front fender back on my car (which was still drivable), Guy and his associate saved my car, they are absolutely amazing
Our night time roadside emergency was handled with great patience, professionalism and follow through by Guy and his driver. Despite having several drivers working and competing demands, Guy responded immediately and patiently to our calls and questions and saw our roadside tow for our Sprinter through to completion . Could not recommend this business too highly. Great crew, great service. Thank you Guy and Toro Road Runners!

Great company, outstanding costumer service!
My car got stuck on the freeway, I call Toro Road Runners so they could tow my car to a shop. I had no idea which auto shop to take my car, the dispatch girl was super sweet and help me find one. Driver arrived within 20 minutes was really careful loading my car. Will deffenetlly call them again if I ever need any roadside assistance.
