Recently, I had a problem with my car. Upon contacting my insurance company, AAA, I was given the name Crash Champions of Alameda. They were not the company I usually use, but because they were a preferred vendor, I found it would be easier to get approval for the work that needed to be done. I decided to try them out. I’m so glad I did. They were quick to respond to my request for an estimate. Upon my agreement to use them, they ordered the part I needed and scheduled a date for replacement. I went out of town for ten days, and my part arrived while I was gone. I called and got an immediate appointment for installation. The work was done quickly, and I couldn’t have been happier. Their prompt and courteous service made what could have been a challenging experience satisfying. I know who I will use the next time I need body work done – Crash Champions of Alameda.

Crash Champions in Alameda recently took care of a repair on my car that was hit when another driver was pulling out of a parking lot. I literally cannot tell that any damage was ever there. Luis was my main point of contact and he was incredibly detailed throughout the entire process, from drop-off explaining what all they will do, to pick-up going over what they found and what they ultimately did. He made me feel at ease knowing that I was leaving my car with someone who was knowledgeable and patient. I received timely notifications and updates about the repair, and it ultimately finished 3 days early than quoted. Highly recommend!
I cannot recommend this business as I had a pretty awful experience with getting an estimate for my car repair. The communication could have been better, and the way they approached my car estimate came across as shady and untrustworthy. Since they are a preferred vendor for AAA insurance, I had my car towed there for an estimate for my claim. I got a call asking me to sign a consent to do the estimate, which was a first, but I did it. I was surprised that the process for getting an estimate took so long. In the past, I've had shops finish uploading estimates for the insurance in the same day. I get that businesses can get busy, but it took several days of back and forth phone calls and emails to get the estimate for my claim to move forward (who has time for this?). Though I had initially intended to have my car fixed there, the timing wasn't right - it was only when I called them to follow up after a day that they told me they were going to tow my car to their other location to get it fixed there - hello? You didn't notify me that this would be the case. Moreover, they had planned to do so even before the estimate was completed and uploaded to the insurance. I had to get my car towed out of there because another shop was going to be able to fix it before I left town. Unfortunately, they didn't end up uploading the estimate for another few days, further delaying the process. In total, it took them 5 business days just to get the estimate to my insurance (and that was with me calling multiple times a day). The other shady part - the estimate they ended up sending my insurance company was $600 less than what they originally estimated when I had called them the day after. So... because I decided not to let their shop fix my car (due to them being waaay too busy for me), they lowered the estimate that I could then use to fix the car at another shop?! That is shady. This is why I cannot recommend this shop as a place to take your car. Take your business elsewhere.
Moe was a genuine and helpful during the process of picking up and assessing my totaled car. It was a pain finding a shop that would take my car as it was deemed a "non drivable" He took my call and coordinated his own guy to pick up my car. He stayed late to accept the delivery and the next day he had communicated to my insurance company that my car was indeed totaled. I appreciate the help and the conversation. I am now onto the next steps of my claim process, thank you.
Someone hit my car in a parking lot and left a huge scrape. This was pretty stressful for me since it was a hit and run, and I take good care of my car and wasn't sure how to deal with the situation. I visited Crash Champions and they were able to completely restore everything back to normal. My car looks completely new again.

Referred to the Alameda Mike's by my Farmer's Insurance, they did an excellent job at every step of the way - reaching out to me to schedule; giving an accurate estimate of when they could do the repair and how long it would take; doing superior quality repair work; and making it easy to pick up my car. The customer service was friendly and excellent and they kept me informed every step of the way. I would highly recommend Mike's Auto Body if you need auto body repairs.

“Serious bodywork” vs “Little fix”.
If your precious and expensive car need serious bodywork, you go this place. Certainly, they know how to fix car and they do their job seamlessly. I’ve checked other customers review and quite many of them became “bro” with the engineers. They seem very satisfied.
If your car has minor damage, and you expect it will be done in 1 or 2 days, Please find different shop. This was my case, and my experience was true nightmare. False informed and non-sense excused emails, lying, rude phone call, careless receptionist, poor business minded manager: all happened for a month.
I was thinking about their business and insurance company to get a peace of mind. As a repair shop, they need to maximize their profit by taking seriously damaged car. So, they can charge enough to maintain their business and get profit. However, they can’t say it directly to customers and deny their service. The business of repair and insurance company is based on customer’s review. Certainly people who has minor problem fix their car by themselves in their garage. And there are fewer negative reviewers. So, estimate and think about the cost of repair, before put your car in their shop.

First and foremost, I would like to give a shout out to Eddie at Crash Champions Brentwood. He took the time too here about my incident, afyer I dropped-in to request an estimate. I was hoping to resolve my vehicle damage with as little of a cost as possible to help out an honest and responsible mother and daughter from Brentwood. Eddie was very courteous and professional and he takes the time to do what ever he can for their clients.
Our company office vehicle had a non-fault accident which damaged the vehicle bumper and tailight assembly on my 2019 Ford Flex. The lady and her daughter who happened to back into my vehicle while it was parked and unattended was kind enough to leave their contact details on my window and seemed eager to take care of any damage to it when I attempted to contact her. I was ofcourse most impressed with the honesty and integrity coming from the other party, that I was happy to resolve the matter as best and as cost effective as possible. I discussed getting a couple of estimates, so I decided to go over to Crash Champions in Brentwood first. Eddie came out almost immediately to assist me as a drop-in customer. I explained my concerns, which he fully acknowledged, and validated, and then he kindly asked me if I had some time to wait in the lobby. He took the vehicle into the shop and WOW!!! They fixed it and asked me if I had any additional concerns! Now I'm a plumber of 20yrs, and I help people as much as I can, however, for a body shop, come on, seriously! When does this ever happen? I am thankful to have this local business nearby with their high customer standards and satisfaction being a priority. I hope this shop will be around over the comung years. I wish them all a great and safe holiday season, and I hope I do not need to come back anytime soon. However, if I do, I definitely know where to come back.
I have driven past this place a million times without but a glance. But after someone hit my truck, My insurance company (Farmers) recommended them to me. These folks are top notch, super friendly and courteous. Except the extended time they had my truck (supply chain issues making for exactly double the estimated time of return, which was not their fault) everything else was awesome. they kept me informed of their progress at all times. would definitely recommend them to anyone needing repairs.
I had a beat up front bumper and instead of charging me $1200 for a new bumper (like others tried to), they took the dent out and glued the bumper back in ~10 minutes for free! I really appreciate it. I didn't have any cash on me to provide a tip at the time - If you remember who helped me I'd like to stop by and give a tip. It was a silver Corolla. Thanks again!
Wanted to take some time here and thank them again for their amazing service and very charismatic team. They are super well equipped during this “Covid” phase, was an easy in and out under 10 minutes! They looked at the car, asked a few questions, took pictures and the rest was all followed up with an email update. After the estimate dropped off the vehicle and 3 days later it is as good as new! First time I called, I spoke to a woman who was helpful. When I got the correct insurance information, I called back a few minutes later. Another lady answered who was very rude. When I let her know she was rude, her response sounded like she enjoyed hearing it. Glad I wasn’t calling about my car getting the estimate. I gave two stars only because the first lady was nice.

My vehicle had damage I had no idea about until my mechanic found it. It was pretty extensive and during the pandemic. Mike's did an awesome job with fewer staff. They kept me up to date and really took care of me. I'm so happy I chose them to take my car to.
