I had a friend who needed help getting his bus towed on a Sunday evening - this place offered a good quote and warned us it might be a few hours, but then we got disconnected. I tried calling back a few times paced out over the next half hour with no luck, and left a message with no response. So, I mean, if you get through and they actually confirm, I bet they're great! Not sure what happened and we ended up having to go with another company. I do wish they had at least gotten back to us.
WOW, what a difference. I recently had an incredibly negative experience with a tow company that tried to charge over a $1000 for towing one of our specialized Canology cleaning trucks a few miles in San Francisco. Andy, the driver, arrived on time and towed the vehicle from San Francisco to San Leandro for half of what the company wanted for a local tow. My teenage son drove our Jeep in the middle of the beach and got stuck. Park ranger was helpful and patient with us. We called numerous Tow Companies but refused because it was too far into beach sand area. Low and behold, Ted & Joe’s towing bailed us out. What could’ve been thousands of dollars to get out cost us a few hundred. This company and crew are the real deal and save the day. If your vehicle is stuck in a hole or sand ditch Cal then. They are the best!
My car was broke into during a trip to Oakland. One of their awesome drivers found my bag on the road and called to let me know I could pick it up at their office. It was the silver lining to a very bad day. Thanks for restoring my faith in humanity.
