I suggest you not use this company if you want a invoice. They guy tries to act like a good person on the phone. He has Ignored my calls and text . What a joke! 👎
Can't thank these guys enough! I got stuck in deep mud while camping in a remote forested area, and they were the only company willing to come help me—even though it was lat and the location was hard to reach. When they realized their truck couldn’t get through the trees that night, they came back the next morning for us.
They were incredibly kind and respectful—not just to me, but also to my kids, which meant a lot. The whole experience could’ve been super stressful, but they made it feel manageable and safe. If you ever find yourself in a tough spot, especially somewhere remote, I’d highly recommend giving them a call. Truly above and beyond service.
After a hectic day which included an ER visit for my three year old daughter, my family of 6 (4 kids under 6 years old) found ourselves stranded on the interstate near Hampton at night. Our tire blew out and my jack kept collapsing (maybe out of hydraulic fluid or something, I’ll have to figure that out later). The fella at Smith Towing showed up very shortly after I called to help me out, did a great job efficiently, and then didn’t even charge me a dime. This was very gracious and exactly the kindhearted gesture I needed after the sort of day I had. I thank the Lord for that, and I highly recommend this company. They clearly got good folks running this business.
Absolutely the best service. They were very respectful of our vintage van when we were in a pinch and helped us so much. I recommend these guys to everyone!
Recommend highly. We had all 8 studs on our left rear dual break on us as we were coming out of the Bobby Hopper tunnel at 7pm. Called Smith's because they were closest to us. Best decision we made. They towed our truck and sent a one ton to get our trailer. They worked that evening and the next morning to replace the studs and made sure we were ready to go the next day.
I cannot speak highly enough of my experience with Smith Towing & Recovery. I recently had the pleasure of using their assistance when I had a popped tire on I-49 during the snow. Their quick response after being connected by the cops and kindness in fixing my flat in 5 degree weather exceeded my expectations. Their dedication to customer satisfaction is truly commendable. I wholeheartedly recommend this business to anyone in the area.
I gotta say: when you're broke down on the side of a windy, twisty road in a 37' long class A motorcoach with a 16' trailer on the back THESE are the guys you want coming to help! They went above and beyond to help us (on NYE, no less!), and were courteous, professional and skilled beyond compare! We hope we won't need to use their services again, but juuuust in case, we will be calling them if we ever need to! Thanks again guys, you're the best!
Josh was such an amazing man. He helped me and my friend after getting rear ended. He was super kind and even got his wife to give us a ride to a place a friend could pick us up from. Such a sweet family and great company!

They helped my daughter out with a tow a few weeks ago I just was delayed posting this review but the driver was also knowledgeable and actually told me how to fix the issue mind you it was as simple as a tire swap lol but these guys are great!!!! Drivers don't know how to use their mirrors or blinkers. You would think a freaking toddler was behind the wheel of the truck I was behind near Pyatt a few minutes ago since he did not seem to realize someone was behind him until he brakes down to 20 and started turning without a blinker. What geniuses these guys hire
Owner is a hot head he does not know arkansas towing laws whatsoever he released my vehicle to my father in law with no identification or any proof of ownership or permission for CASH as stated in arkansas towing & recovery board rules 1-18 a vehicle is only to be released to an owner or to someone with power of attorney over the registered owner. Also he called back after a heated conversation and stated he was reporting the vehicle stolen to the state police in order to (LET US EXPLAIN WHY MY FATHER INLAW HAD MY KEYS) which as a side note is because the car was not towed when I left it and I am sick unable to drive.
Smiths Towing and Recovery literally saved our lives! There just are not enough words to express our gratitude! Josh and Chris truly are a team! Talk prompt service! They got us to safety. Then safely got our truck out of a very dangerous situation using care and their remarkable skills! There a very few people left in this country that show care and concern as these 2 men did. Not very nice to try and run people over just because your in a tow truck! Then look even more professional at Casey's in Farmington holling and trying to start a fight all because you have road rage and think you own the road. Good, hope you have everything on camera also and it show the truck was within one dotted line in the road from my property. Awesome, way to drive with your name on side of truck!!! Would not feel safe with my family with them in the trucks or while I am drive down the road beside them with the way the two drivers was driving today!! Beware of crazy road raging drivers looking like they haven't been to sleep in days!! Get off the dope!!
You will not find another towing company with love and compassion as smith's towing they are by far the best around in northwest Arkansas i will forever recommend them to family and friends and will use them my self i used them for a elderly family in need and they came to their rescue they were stuck on the side of the interstate for 6 days no food no water no nothing and they were a blessing indescise thank you for everything may God be with you and your family i give you a thousand ⭐ s from my family to yours........

Police call this company to towed my car. After I talk to Joshua about my situation and been in a hardship, he give a great deal. My bill was way beyond 2K , after he review my situation he gave me the opportunity to bring only on 1/4 of the total bill. He greatly reduce the amount by nearly 80%. I was so grateful because I could never will come on with the original charges. On top of that he gave me the opportunity to live the car i=inside his property for nearly 4 week at no extra cost. Thank you Joshua, I really appreciated what you did to me, I wish many business owners have the same heart you have and the willingness to help others.

I cannot say enough good things about this service!!! We had a tire blowout yesterday evening on a bridge on the interstate just outside of Winslow, and did not have a spare tire with us. It was just after 5:30, and I didn’t know if we would be able to get a hold of anyone. Smith Towing is the first company I called, and he answered after the first ring. He checked to see if he had a spare that would fit, but did not. He then gave me the names of two other towing services, and told me to call them and check to see if they had a spare first before we had to resort to having the car towed, and that we were welcome to call him back if they didn’t. Unfortunately, none of the others had a spare either, so we call Smith Towing back. He told us he would be there within 20 minutes, and he was there on time just like he said. He was extremely professional and very friendly, and got the car hooked up in just a few minutes. He then pulled the car on down the road to get it off the bridge, and waited for us to load up in another vehicle with the rest of our group. We then followed him to the automotive center at a Walmart in Fayetteville, and got there just as the mechanics were closing down shop. However, he walked inside and asked them if they could balance our new tire first, and they agreed! He then took the new tire, and mounted it on our car at no extra charge. He also charged us WAY less than what we had originally agreed on, and wouldn’t even hear our arguments when we insisted on paying the full price. He simply smiled, and said “It’s okay, I’ve got this.” He then offered to give us a free spare that he knew he would have coming in this weekend, and told us to give him a call when we came back through town so he could give it to us. —Part of my job involves working with local tow companies, and Smith Towing out of Winslow is BY FAR the absolute BEST service I have ever dealt with. Very nice, courteous, compassionate, and incredibly professional. I could not recommend them more!! The driver was absolutely an angel, and I have no doubt that God put him in our path for a reason!! My water pump went out on I49south of Winslow. Was also pulling my boat. I called Smith towing and in just over 2 hours from when I called from the shoulder of the road josh towed us to Winslow and his brother changed my water pump and my sepentine belt and we were on our way.On Easter Sunday! I can't say enough about them and their service

Great service, better people. Josh (the owner and operator) is as good as they come and watches after your vehicles as if they were his own. The best experience I have ever had with a tow company. My family and I ran out of gas and they were fast to help! If anyone every needs service on I-49 call them!!!!
My wife and I went up to Devils Den for a weekend of camping and our jeep's battery died and we thought we were stranded in the camp grounds. We got connected with Josh through roadside assistance and he went out of his way to come rescue us. What we thought was a bad battery was actually a problem with the terminals connected to the battery. Josh perfectly diagnosed the problem, and offered to fix the wire by retripping it, cleaning out the corrosion, and replacing the metal connecter that was corroded. Talk about ABOVE AND BEYOND. He offered to do all of this for no extra charge. We were blown away. The jeep is working great and we made it back to Texas safe and sound with no problems. It is people like Josh that are this generous and kind to their customers that makes us want to come back to Arkansas, not just for the beautiful scenery but also for the amazing people.
My daughter was in an accident on the highway on the way back to University. Smith Towing and Recovery took such good care of her and her friend! They were kind and compassionate and made sure the girls were safe while they waited for a ride back to school. When my daughter and I went to get her stuff out of her car they met us at a convenient location and drove us to the lot so we couldn't get lost. Once there, they helped us carry all of her things to my car and made sure we didn't forget anything. I recommend Smith Towing and Recovery for any and every towing need. They are truly good people who care about doing their job with the utmost professionalism and courtesy. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would!
My parents were in a major car accident. Josh was beyond nice. He helped my sister and I recover items needed and thought in the car. He also went out of his way to take us to the accident scene to look for additional items lost and stayed to help look. He is an amazing person. He helped the situation not be as tough.
