Called this place for two tires and I’m glad I didn’t go to them. We were just inquiring about tires and I told them I found somebody else they called back said thanks for wasting our time and hung up in my face. How rude. They’re overly priced and bought out the small companies so apparently they are arrogant enough to speak like that especially to a woman. Told the people in the next town too. Avoid this place at all costs.

Hit a pothole and got two flat tires. The team at Winebaughs was fast to get a flat bed out to me and were extremely friendly and helpful! Would definitely recommend!

Very helpful, helped me with an issue pertaining to my truck right before closing time. They went out of their way to help me and at a great price. In my opinion they are humble heroes that don’t get enough praise. Thank you!

I'm very happy with how this experience went for me. I don't believe my car would have made it 5 feet more but it did get me home before it went completely dead. I called Mr. Winebaugh and they were quick to come get my car and fix it for me. They were very kind and helpful and I am grateful!

I needed a trailer towed. 10pm or so on a Saturday they were showing up 45 minutes later. They went above and beyond to help us out even on a Sunday afternoon. My bill was reasonable. It was a pleasure doing business with them. Highly recommended.

WARNING SEVERAL PROBLEMS WITH THIS MECHANIC!!! OVERPRICED, LIED TO GET ME IN THE DOOR, INCOMPETENT, RIP OFF. Took them 3 days to change an alternator. Was told it would be ready by the next morning. Alts are not hard to change. Meanwhile I had to waste money on a hotel. I was passing through on way back home in north Arkansas when truck went dead. Didn't have any tools and heat index 113 degrees. Bought a battery and drove my new used truck to this mechanic. MISTAKE!! Was charged $775 for an alternator and they didn't even change the serpentine belt that was obviously dry rotted to heck. It snapped 20 miles after leaving the shop. Either they didn't care that the belt was about to break, or they didn't realize the belt was about to break. Either way THIS IS PROOF of a incompetent mechanic. I had just bought the truck and told them it had been sitting for several years. Belt was in horrible condition. They SHOULD have caught this while performing more than $500 in labor on my truck. I mean they took the belt off my alternator AND put it back on. $500 should have paid for a glance at what the mechanic was handling. I will tell you someone better be glad the truck didn't jump time and blow a head gasket when the belt broke. OVERPRICED, LIED TO GET ME IN THE DOOR, INCOMPETENT, RIP OFF. Avoid this place!

We were driving from out of town and had our engine blow. They were fast, nice and very helpful! Definitely recommend!

I was disappointed I had them tow my car and see what the issue is and they said that they would call me before they did anyting repair wise that was their policy I had to call they already had the part ordered for my car and I told them they wasted a whole day because I had the part at O'Reilly's already ordered they never did call me and discuss anything with me and it cost me 2 days 3 days without a car I had to check the update on my car they never never not once called me when I did go pick it up it was so over-the-top I will never take a vehicle or anyting else to them ever again the supervisor over this one little guy supposedly fixing my car was in no hurry , and then when I did get the car and drove off all my – lights was on so I took it somewhere else to have them shut them off I didn't even feel like messing with them anymore so anyway that was my experience at the competition place. Never again and I would not if I were you

These people are the bomb! They are competent in their towing capabilities and they do great work at very reasonable prices. I'll be back if I have anymore issues with my big truck when I'm in the area. Great people

I can't possibly say enough good about Steve and his crew. I destroyed the rear end on my semi trailer on a Saturday midday. Steve was at the site within 15 minutes and within the next five or six hours had it replaced and had me on the road. He and his whole crew got together and busted their buns to help me out and didn't charge me all that much. I couldn't be happier thank you Steve and crew. I would highly recommend them to anybody in the area that needs help.

Absolutely worst service ever. I had a blowout and needed a tow. I called Competition Towing at 10:43 am. I was told they could get to me in an hour. 12:17 pm I called them again and was told that the truck had to go to Peco. I thought I was next but Peco had priority. They said it would be another hour. It is now 106 degrees. I called back at 2:30 pm. This time I was told they could not get to me. They could have told me this at 10:30. They had me wait in the heat for four hours only to be told I was out of luck. They had me sitting in the heat for nothing. This company is a total embarrassment to the Winbaugh name. If you are the little man you mean nothing to them. I am 71 years old and they could care less.

Way too expensive. Wouldn't let me get anything out of my vehicle without paying in full or signing the back of my title. Vehicle was towed Sunday around 1:45 pm. Called Monday around 12 Told me I would only be charged for one day if I came and got it out Tuesday, however the price that they first quoted me was already for 2 days. It had been there approximately 22 hours when I first contacted them. Asked for something in writing stating that I was signing the back of my title only in order to get my belongings out of my vehicle and they were too busy to do so at the time. They told me to come back and that they would do it for me then. And to be honest they do their job however their communication skills are just not that pleasant. I feel like it's Monopoly and they take advantage of it. However I don't know I've only been here two and a half years but that's exactly what it seems like to me. And with the police as well. Only my opinions

Rip Of kept my truck for over a month, telling me they still working on an repair estimate giving me a run around and at the end had to tow it to another shop and had to pay storage fees for them. Waste of time and money

I call them every time my husband locks his keys in the truck (constantly) up until a month ago it was only $45! Very reasonable. Appreciated their work. But then....called them a few weeks ago and it is like 60 or 65 dollars!!!? Might as well call anyone else now. They WERE the cheapest and we called them for everything. But idk what happened? Otherwise, this would have all 5 stars because I hate leaving poor reviews

They had my car for a week, I had to call them to check on it. They asked if I wanted a different issue fixed than the original issue, I said of course, that’s why it’s at the shop. They proceeded to not fix the second issue and send the car home after I called a second time to see if the car was ready. All my dash lights came back on by the time it reached my house. I will not be using them for a shop anymore and I do not recommend them. They are not friendly and have zero communication skills when it comes to your vehicle being in their shop.

Not only are they expensive, but they jerk you around for a while, 2 months to be exact, only to find out that they sold it immediately after picking it up. Will be filing a civil suit against them.

I had a driver passing through and we had issues with a tire on the trailer. Steven at Competition towing gave me directions to give to driver in the later part of the evening. They fixed the issue within half an hour and got my driver back on the road ASAP. So glad I found them on the internet, thanks a lot guys, you are a top notch shop!!

My truck broke down and was sitting in my driveway. I had made an appointment for the local Chevrolet dealership to look at it and tell me what was wrong. It wasn't driveable so I had to have it towed there. I called and asked how much they would charge, $60 they said. I told them to come get it. Mind you i requested this service a day prior to the appointment to make sure it got there on time. Well come time for my appointment and they still hadn't shown up nor had I received any call on when they would be coming. I called them again and explained how they were supposed to have picked up my truck yesterday and never showed up and asked when they could get it. They said they'd be right out.. finally at 4pm they show up. I follow them to make sure it gets where I requested it to go. Nope, they take it to their shop. I asked why they brought it over and Steve requested that I let him look at it and see if he could fix it, if not he wouldn't charge me to tow it to the Chevrolet dealership. I agreed, because it seemed like he was going to get started immediately. I checked in daily for the first 5 days and it never being touched other than hooking it up to the scanner. So I called the Chevrolet dealership in Jonesboro and got another appointment, went and asked Steve if he could take it down there. He says oh yeah no problem. The next day my truck is still sitting at his shop. So I went and hired another tow company to take my truck to Jonesboro. The tow company I hired calls and says they won't let me have your vehicle.. so I go up there and talk to Steve. He says yeah the bill needs to be paid.. ?? What bill? You guys havent touched it. Oh no, no..it's a parts bill. Parts? Again you haven't touched my truck? They wouldn't release my truck over a $20 bill my ex husband had from a year ago. I was livid! Why do I have to pay his bill I asked to which I received do you want your truck or not? I will never use them for anything!! They are lazy, incompetent, and not trustworthy! It isn't like I didn't offer them the job first and they were too busy to do it, so I had someone else and they didn't care to much for that and had to be petty and make me pay my ex's bill if I wanted my vehicle. Just save yourself some headaches and go elsewhere!

Broke down while hauling my 5th wheel camper. They towed both to where I was going. Prices we're very reasonable and I am very grateful for the speed in which they delivered

The people and service were good, but the rate was extremely high, and a charge was added because I could not pay on the day of towing even though the driver did not have his card reader, and the main building was closed.

Brought our vehicle in for an oil change. We supplied the oil and filter. I specifically asked for an oil change not any other service. When we returned to pick up vehicle two hours later they still had not completed job. OK maybe they were busy. Came back second time vehicle was ready to pick up. Invoice had an additional charge of 3.50 I asked why they said we added window washer fluid. First of all I had recently filled reservoir second I didn't ask for that service Third a real shop tops you off for free. I asked if they'd remove the charge they did not. I told them I could buy a gallon of washer fluid for 3.00 and that I would not be back!

I called on a Saturday evening with a blown transmission. I was in Williford, AR and the truck needed to get to Memphis, TN. The guys showed up on time Sunday morning. They were courteous and professional. They did a great jog for a great price. I'd highly recommend them.

Would highly recommend this company to any one! They were amazing for us the last couple weeks. We are from Missouri and they towed in our camper and jet ski after a storm induced wreck took both while driving. The crew was great. Kind, helpful, concerned and took great care in what they were doing. They were all great working with us the next week as we salvaged what we could, and they helped from afar with that since we were two hours away. Also gave advice on dealing with insurance and salvage company. Good people! Thankyou to all who work there!

So I had issues with trailer brakes... I pass by this place and called them... I told them my situation and they said turn around and we'll take a look... I show and of course with my luck there are customers in front of me...To my surprise, they got right on trailer after waiting about 2 minutes... They are getting me back on the road asap... I would HIGHLY recommend they company for ANY services they offer... It's good to know being from Houston and a LONG WAY from home that there are still good companies out there like this one... Thanks again guys, oh and little one up front... Can't forget her...lol

My brother-in-law (husband, father, full time worker) broke down on the side of the road at 1 a.m. after working a double shift. He left the car with the windows down, pink toddler seat and all and put a note on the dash that he would be back for the car and left his phone number. The state police made a call for Winebaugh's Competition Towing to impound the vehicle that night, which I fully understand is within their rights and duties to keep the highways safe. He never received a phone call, though. When he showed up at Winebaugh's the next day, they dismissed him and made him wait anytime "a real customer" came in. They quoted an impound fee around $160 and said it would be $45 per day going forward or it would be $45 to tow it to another mechanic literally 3 blocks down the road. We opted to do that until the owner, Cindy, pursuaded him to let them fix it in exchange for no cost to hold until it was repaired, which she assured him would be "soon." It was late in the day, though, so he left her 3 contact numbers and waited patiently until Monday. He called several times Monday and each time he was told, "They are looking at it right now, I will go check on it and call you right back." By 4, I went up there in person and was told the same thing. No phone calls. Tuesday, he called three times, being given the same response the first two times only to be told the third that their machine had broke and that Wednesday they would have some answers. Today, Wednesday, I went up there with his wife again (he works full time) and they said it would take 2 weeks before they would even be able to look at the vehicle but that we could have it towed 3 blocks for $45 like we had opted to do 5 days earlier. I asked to speak to the owner. The employee disappeared and returned and said that Steve said that he would waive the $18 left on the impound fee but that they still had to pay $45 if they wanted it moved anywhere. We asked again to speak to Steve who was suddenly impossible to locate. They paid the $45 and had it towed 3 blocks to Leo's Automotive where they promptly got to work on the vehicle. I don't feel like Winebaugh's did them right at all from the beginning and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I feel like they owed them the 3 block tow to be honest and an apology for treating a paying customer so terribly.

These people rescued me a while back when I managed to get my semi truck and a load of lumber stuck on a dirt back road near Mo line off road EE .I had no cell pH service and a farmer found me there stuck blocking entire road . I have since returned home in Houston Texas and because of this event suffered unemployment and etc. I won't mention but these folks truelly were amazing! The whole event could of made a Discovery movie! Hahahaha! Thanks guys from Leslie! Old 77"
