I needed transmission work on my jeep and referrals led me to Strokers. I’d seen their ads and thought they only worked on diesel trucks - but they work on cars too. My vehicle is now running better than it has in years. The shop was easy to work with; provided diagnostics with images and quotes. Work warrantied for one year. Repairs aren’t cheap but that warranty is cheaper than a new car. Thank you Strokers!
Zeb and Suzy Beard are some of the best people I know. Zeb knows his shit and they get straight to the problem and fix it. I would one thousand percent recommend Strokers Diesel for any problem with your vehicle. And if he doesn’t work on your particular vehicle for whatever reason, he will tell you. They will have my business as long as I’m able to drive a truck!!!!
Thank You for going above and beyond the call of duty. One of my trucks broke down late Tuesday the week of Thanksgiving outside Pine Bluff on the Interstate and it was over 170 miles to my shop. I called Stroker's Diesel and they towed me in and even though they originally said they couldn't even look at it till Monday because they were booked up and about to be off for Thanksgiving holiday they spent all day running around town gathering the parts to get me going and spent the whole day fixing my truck. My driver was able to get home about 10:30 PM on Wed night and spend Thanksgiving with his family. When I paid the bill even though I didn't know anyone in the area, the Lord directed me to them and they were fair with the price. Thank you Zeb and crew! I would definitely recommend them. Great diesel shop!

My husband used to work with Zeb and his crew before going on a road job. From what I used to hear from my husband, this is such a great group of guys who offer top quality service. Our auto repair shop in Monticello is capable of servicing all makes and models. This is a direct quote from their website. Well I’m pretty sure a 2005 Ford F-350 falls into that category. So does a 7.3 and a 6.4. I saw a reply from these people to a review saying parts for older vehicles are hard to find…what? Not for my truck. Not for a 6.4 either. So what’s the issue? Is it because these engines are known to have problems? But isn’t that the whole point of a repair shop? I think it would be more fitting if your website read “Our auto repair shop in Monticello is capable of servicing only the most reliable makes and models.” Then you wouldn’t be quite so misleading.
They diagnosed the problem/concern, said what needed to be fixed, and fixed the issue. Straight forward process with no hassle from dropping off vehicle to picking it up. I appreciate the work Strokers has always done for me no matter the size of the job

Great people and hands down the best mechanic shop I’ve ever been to. They’re down to earth people with top notch customer service. If you want a shop who kept up with the times and the changes in both gas and diesel vehicles these are by far the guys you want to work on your vehicles.
Strokers diesel is the best around. They have the knowledge and tools to fix tricky problems other mechanics can not. If you’re tired of your vehicle sitting at a shop or dealership with them telling you there’s nothing wrong with it or it can’t be fixed bring it to Strokers diesel. They will fix it. Zeb has a great shop and is expanding. I’m happy for him . Hard work pays off.
Zeb and his group are the best mechanics around. He, nor they, are parts changers. They diagnose a problem so they can make sure it is properly repaired. I’ve had them do diesel work, work on my gas burner and it is a quality job every time. Does he seem arrogant? Nope. He’s confident in his and his guy’s abilities; big difference.

Had some work done on my 2500hd Duramax. Was told to drop it off when they open and it’d be done by lunch. At lunch I got a phone call that the work had been performed and it was ready for pickup. Easiest shop I’ve ever dealt with.
I have a truck from 1992. I needed it repaired badly. I was told that they don't like to work on OBD1 vehicles. No explanation given. Is it because the mechanics nowadays need a computer to tell them what to replace? I don't know really but I waited to write this review till I was completed but I ended up diagnosing it on my own and fixing it on my own. If a guy with very little mechanic experience can fix it , then why can't they. It's sad really. If you have a vehicle from around 1996 and back then keep looking for another shop. Edit: In response to the reply from Strokers. My specific vehicle was made in OBD1 and OBD2 versions. I was told you don't like OBD1 vehicles yet if my truck was a few years newer you would work on it? Despite the GMT400 model using vastly the same parts from OBD1 years to the OBD2 years spanning over a decade of time. The parts are massively available and cheap. Your opinion is that I should not give a review because I was never a customer but I was never a customer because you refuse to let me be a customer.
