The company responded, and yes I understand they are a recycling center for scrap. If you don’t want miscommunication then inform your people that answer the phone what you do and don’t do. That helps that. And maybe learn a little bit of customer service. If your guy would have said “how can I help you” maybe he wouldn’t have destroyed a $500 part. Now the only thing I can think about is how you stole from me. Being a decent human goes a long way. Must be nice to not have $500 stolen from you, or destroyed right in front of you.
First and last time I’ll be here. Called and asked if they bought cylinder heads, good ones, I was told yes so I brought mine in. They guy came out, didn’t say a word, grabbed the head (it was in a trash bag to keep dust and debris out because it was in good condition to be put on another motor) and threw it on the ground. Didn’t say anything or ask anything just threw it on the ground. No good now, thanks to that jerk. Took it out of the bag and threw it on the scale and said $4. And then drooped it some more as he was walking out. I had zero time to react to him just throwing something on the ground not knowing what I was there for and not asking any questions. I will NEVER use this place for scrap ever again. Ruined me on my first trip! If they don’t buy good parts then the lady that answered the phone needs to be told that. That part was well over $4! DO NOT GO HERE!
Real smooth process, workers were very polite and courteous... great first impression for first time being here in a few years ...sure will be back with my scrap medal disposal in the future.
Price inaccurate for Aluminum Wheels per lbs. Listed $0.70 , got $0.55. For a bucket of Copper got $3.40 per lbs. 2 1/2 5 gallon Buckets of bright Copper, payed 31 lbs overall. Also say on website:" they take Cadillac converters ", and "No", they don't!!
I do all my recycling at buds it's a great local family own friendly recycling center that don't mind u asking questions and they are very time efficient too
They don't pay well for what you give them they are ripping you off for the price you have to pay for metal you should get more for what you take to them
The heat tends to make most people irritable but not the guys here at buds. They're all very friendly and very professional. Not to mention they have much better prices than anyone else in the area.
I have always delt with Bud & his family for year's. They always have fast & friendly service & pay top dollar more than anyone else. That's why I always use Bud!
Chris scrap yard to have it well organized to pull through workers to come out and get any smaller materials that are not 10 related keep the area picked up debris to not have a high rate of flats when you go through thier scrap yard
