This place is dear to my heart for many reasons. So many laughs and treasures. Years and years of traversing that road. As for Artist Point, the hummingbirds, homemade fudge and peanut patties, and the view are worth the trip! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I've always loved going to Artist Point, been going for many many years, my family and I would go for long drives and many times it was just to Artist Point , get a piece of the awesome fudge and head back toward home in Oklahoma. Always friendly , scenery is beautiful, lots of hummingbirds during the season. Worth the drive.
Absolute one of the most iconic jaw dropping scenic views in the beautiful natural state! Perfect for a quick visit in the shop or to stretch your legs during your trip to the next destination! Photo opportunities on the side of the store w the custom built little overlook so you can take in the best views along this scenic back road hwy! Definitely one of the best little known secrets in the area and state! Highly recommended!!!
They were closed. Really don't know since they were closed. Great views from the road. Beatiful day to be out. Go the old route when you go to Fayetteville to get to this place. They are open on Thursday.
The view is amazing, and the selection of items is quite unique! Make sure to take a walk through the Native American exhibit. It’s small, but it gives you such an interesting insight into the lifestyle of those who were here before us.
Didn't get to go in bc we pulled up as they were closing but the outside is worth the drive either way!! Edit** made it here while they were open. Great items and gifts!!
Gift shop featuring local crafts, crystal, polished rocks, homemade jams, along with a small museum featuring local artifacts. Very pleasant lady runs the place, situated on a mountainside with beautiful scenic views. Be sure to check out the many hummingbirds in season.
I have never been in this place but I did break down there in Thanksgiving and the people who own it were nice enough to come ask me if I was okay and make sure I had somebody coming after me. Nice people.

While you're slowed down for the curves on old Highway 71, look for the open door, or the Open sign

Still such a beautiful place! I used to go to all these places on Hwy. 71 when I was a child/teen. My husband and I took a drive up 71 and he loved visiting the places that were once thriving. The views at Artist Point are breathtaking, the hummingbirds are amazing, and the shop has so many unique finds!
The views are absolutely amazing and the store owners are very nice and friendly. A must see stop if you love Mountain View’s and there are hummingbirds galore on the back deck.
