If you’re new to trying to drop off scrap and want to come here be sure to go to the office first even though they have no parking for you to go to the office nor a sign that says you need to, just a giant inbound sign and a sign for stuff you can’t take, waited 30 min just to have to leave because I didn’t go into the office first and one way contact us no good.
Very nice people working in the office but if your in any kind of time crunch this is not the place for you sat for 45 minutes to unload one barrel of cans.
I took about 80lb of copper the lady gave me a ticket I looked at it b 4 I went in and told her this could not be right she had on my ticket 35lbs I am 69 yrs old I know what 35lbs feels like and I know what 80lbs fees like they wouldn't give the copper back a screwing they will have to answer for. I give them a negative - 1 stars
Had to unload my scrap myself. Even had to unload an old motor that came out of a vehicle. Then when I weighed out and went in to get paid I left the number they give you in my truck. I just forgot and when I went in office the girl working said can I help you. I was the only one there. I told her I just weighed out and she then said where the number. Just rude the way she said it. This place is a freaking joke. I definitely won't be back!
Unloader told me they doc 40 cents for dirty copper brass radiator I said ok I don't have time to clean them doc it. Got cashed out they doced $1.40 paid me 35 cents for 300. Told me a sales are final. Top it of atm was down so I could even collect what I did get. Crooks stay clear
Took 8 radiators there and after they printed out, found out they gave only 35 cents per lb!!! Unbelievable crooks. They cheated us out of hundreds of dolllars!!! They quoted 40 cents/ lbs on aluminum cans but after they printed it out they gave only 35 cents/lb. CROOKS DO NOT USE THEM!!!
Had 2 big electronic motors that they would not unload out of the back of my truck. The manager told me that I could push them out but there is a couple problems with that 1 they was to big for a man to push them out. 2 they would have been to heavy for my tailgate. So I went to ELLIS CORE RECYCLING they was very helpfully and very nice and professional and they pay more. I highly recommend them
They pay good for catalytic converters, but other scrap metal they give low values consistently. However, I must add that they do take odd scrap too, like Christmas string lights and motors.
This Scrapyard is unorganized the people that work at are douchebags Didn't even get to unload my scrap because they were being d******** and they didn't tell me where to go to drop off the scrap metal where is grab metal worst experience out of scrap yard ever
They are nice and quick. It's just getting them to start on time. They say they open at 8am. But it's 8:30 before they actually start taking care of costermers.
Waste of time go somewhere else. Was told I have to have a mask on to talk to the guy through the window. Can you hear your stupidity as you're saying it or is it just me.
They would be welcome at my house for dinner anytime.
I buy and sell with these folks. Honest prices. Always welcome to browse and look for bargains. I sometimes buy more than I sell.
We went up there to sell a dishwasher and a little bit a cans and it was one of the good dishwashers it was a good size dishwasher. And all we got for the dishwasher was 3.33. For both was 4.03. That is a rip off when you go to the store your going to pay more than that to buy the dishwasher. TRG doesnt give you much for what you selling there. They are cheapskates. For aluminium its .35 cents a pound that cheap when you go to the store your going to buy the can and the soda for 1 dollar. Why can they up the price. They are so cheap. Some people are trying to sell stuff. Crapy recycling center ever.
The lady in the front was very rude! I understand people have bad days, But treat people the way you would like to be treated. We won’t be back and will suggest people to take there business else where!
