They don’t pick your trash up half the time and have an excuse everytime !!! I have been with them for a while , and forgot to pay for a week , made a payment the next day they sent a reminder , they said it takes 6-8 business days to clear so they stopped my service AFTER I made the payment , and said it was that afternoon after they stopped my service !!! And they kept going up !! I changed service and it’s much cheaper , plus when you called and talked to someone abt it , they are VERY rude to you , so I won’t put up with that, and I was told as long as I paid the 1st couple weeks it would be fine , and now told it’s not fine by someone else , I was in plenty of time paying , very rude to me when I tried to explain that , so if you have them , you best pay like 8 days in advance or they will stop your service without telling you !!

The guys do a great job. Consistent pickup, they communicate effectively when we have snow days and do their best to get pickups back on schedule. Very happy with them.

Ive had nothing but problems out of this business. Ive lived in heber springs going on 10 years now and due to the lack of options ive had to use this business off and on the entire time. During this time I have tried everything to drop them and find some other way to take care of my own trash which has led me to even greater headache and the details I won't get into because my focus is on this business and not the other even crappie businesses. This company has constantly done shady things and has even beat me out of $160. I shut off service and they sent me a check. I was an otr truck driver and when I got home and actually found the check and tried to cash it, found there was nowhere to actually cash it in this county (somehow 🙄) and when i took the check to their office they told me there was nothing they could do despite me restarting service and trying to have the money credited to my account. There is one lady in the office who is ok and another who is an absolute terrible person to try to deal with. All over all if I could find another company who provided garbage cans and were consistent in their service I would jump ship in a heartbeat.

I've had this service for almost 20 years and haven't had any trouble...until now. Now, we have started having unacceptable problems. They did not notify me that my trash pick-up day changed. They said they tried to call but I guess I missed it and I don't have voicemail. They should have texted, emailed, or called more than once! This week, they only emptied two of my four cans (we have a large family) with no notification as to why! I came home from a work trip to nasty, stinky trash cans! Now they're telling me I have to use their trash cans. Why wasn't I notified about this?! To top it all off, the lady who answered the phone at the Heber Springs office was just a little too snarky for me, especially when I'm the one with the problem and I'm paying for the service! I'm assuming by the way the lady talked to me that my one weekly pick-up is not that important to them and it won't hurt them at all if I go elsewhere! That's sure how I felt.

They use a dump action on their truck which is great but they only pickup trash once a month even though I pay them to do it weekly on Thursday it's been 2 weeks and my bins have been full. Edit i have since changed trash companies because they repeatedly hit my for sale sign.

I've tried numerous times to call and speak with someone, but it's never been successful. You're placed on hold for several minutes, then automatically transferred to the Beebe transfer station where no one ever answers the phone. I'm just trying to find out if my trash will be picked up today.

We live south of Quitman Arkansas and we’ve had this service a few years and throughout this whole time it’s been mainly 2 main drivers that service our address and both of these drivers have been very polite, professional and courteous. Every time we see them we say hi and are met with a smile, greeting and wave. Knowing that these drivers sometimes have to work over time through/after holidays, during staffing shortages due to weather/illnesses and equipment breakdowns and still maintain their high level of professionalism, they are the reason we are still a customer. Thank you to our route drivers.

Horrible horrible customer service. My bill has been going to wrong address for 9 months. I called to fix it and they said they would. They did not fix and my garbage didn’t get picked up because I was 21 dollars short because I didn’t know there was a price change. I call to resolve and catch attitude from customer service like I am the one in the wrong for them sending the bill to the wrong address.

They have missed picking up our garbage twice this month and both times the whole neighborhood has to wait til the following week and apparently they don't care about. They dont call , you have to get a hold of these idiots to try and figure out what's happening. I'm searching for a new company today. Now to add insult to injury they raised my rates $50. Screw waste connections, I cancelled today.

If I could give less than a one star Review I would, our trash is not picked up quite often and when you try to call the office you never get an answer, the phone rolls over to the Beebe pick up station and that phone is not answered either. Pick up the trash when you are supposed to and answer your phones. It's not that difficult.

They miss us often and are difficult to reach. Response: I already called, just to wait on hold until I was allowed to leave a message. I don't want to talk to anyone. I just want you to pick up my trash, a service for which I have paid.

A few weeks ago, the wind was pretty strong and, apparently, my trash can fell over or was in the way. Our wonderful driver didn't set it up- she brought it all the way to our house and put it right where we set it when it's not at the road! Not just service- attention to detail! Thank you!

I started services through my water company around 6 months ago. It has been nothing less than awful! The first two months pickup services were already paid for, I NEVER received cans. I called and emailed, no response. Finally one day I was able to wave down the pick up men and explain the situation. They came back that same day and gave us our cans, which I was very grateful for. After getting the cans the first 2 weeks they would pick up our neighbors trash but not ours; so I assumed since we were the very last house on the dead end that I was to hard for them to turn the truck around. My kind neighbor told us we could move our cans down into his yard just incase that was the issue. They started picking up our trash! Issue solved, so I thought. Until this weekend, some reason they picked up on Saturday this weekend. But instead of just dumping our trash, they took our cans with them. Called 6 different times today, emailed, my water company has tried to reach someone and still nothing. I really wondering if I’m going to have to wait months or literally run after our pick up man just to get cans again?

I used this company for 8 months. They did not pick up my trash 5 times in the first 3 months. I moved and requested my 1 month refund (you pay 3 months In advance). 5 months later, I still haven't received my refund and they don't answer my call and I left messages and they don't return my call.

I used these guys for the months of July through September. In July they had issues getting the trash cans there and then picked up for 2 weeks, even though I’d paid already. Starting the first of September they failed to ever pick up my trash through the end of September despite multiple phone calls and them saying more than once they’d get out there. Then the phone calls starts going unanswered all day, every day. I even left messages. No call back, no email from my complaints. And they’re still trying to charge me for part of September. And they still haven’t picked up their containers. For real, save yourself the headache. Of 11 weeks before I let them know I was going with someone else, they picked up 6.

I've been a customer for 3 years, they used to pick our trash up on time but the last 6 months or so the service has been sketchy not showing on the scheduled day or just not showing up at all. I've called the office numerous times they rarely answer promptly. I finally talked to a lady that told me that multiple drivers had quit and they were doing what they could, and if I wanted I could take my trash to their transfer station and dump it myself. If things do not improve I will have to switch to another service.

I have been using Waste Connections since we moved to the area 2 years ago. I have had problems with my trash being picked up at least once every month. No one picks up the phone and it never goes to voicemail so you can't leave a message. They will not pick up your trash, but they always pick up your check. They still owe me a months pick up but I am cutting my losses and going somewhere else.

I drop off a pickup load of cardboard boxes every other week. Shawn is always there and ready with a good attitude and eagerness to help unload the cardboard. I usually leave there with pleasant word and a see you next time! It’s rare to find people like him these days.

Shawn is exceptional. We use the recycling center, and Shawn is the most attentive, helpful, and friendly employee in Heber Springs. With a largely elderly population and client base, Shawn always runs out to help. He keeps the center clean and organized, unlike many other recycle centers I've used over the years. Easy, convenient place to take most of your recycling (they don't currently take aluminum, glass, or plastic bags).

My 92 year old father and Navy veteran has used this business for recycling for many years and is now requiring a bit of help to get the bags out of his truck. Today Shawn came right out to assist us and took care of us like we were family! Highly recommend this business!

We do not have trash pick up service, for us it is cheaper to bring our trash into the recycling center, the guys there are fantistic; friendly and professional. I can't say the same for the lady at the transfer station. I have also had trouble getting a return call from the main office number 362-2666 left 2 messages no return call. I give 5 stars because the guy at the recycling center is great and who we deal with most of the time ( to the powers that be He needs a raise!).

Highly Recommend... My parents recently moved to Heber Springs and have been trying to figure out what to do with numerous moving boxes after unpacking. I am pleased to say after my mom called the city, she learned of the Waste Connections recycling service. We drove by twice just this week, the first time basically at closing time. The gentleman on duty, Shawn, could not have been nicer. He opened the large side door, greeted us with a smile, and even helped us get multiple boxes out of both our cars and onto their conveyor belt. We really appreciate his help and wonderful attitude. I love that my parents have found such a great place to call home in Heber Springs!

I called to set up services and Rachel was super helpful and professional. She was informative about the services they provide and the price was the best around. After setting up our services, I even called my neighbor and urged her to switch from her current provider to Waste Connections.

Everything was good with them till December. Late picking up trash, I’ve had to call numerous times to complain about trash not being picked up after 3 days. Rented a dumpster from them the middle of February which after 2 weeks should have been picked up after numerous calls once again the dumpster is still here as of today.

I have been a customer for years but the past few months the service has been awful. My bill is drafted from my account each month. Two months ago they stopped picking our trash up saying our bill was unpaid. I called and there was a problem on their end and I was told it was fixed. Now, two months later it has happened again. I have called the Heber office numerous times and always get put on hold for 10 minutes and then asked to leave a message. I left 4 messages and no one would ever return my phone call. Looking for new service.

I'm proud to have this service available. Living in a rural area is difficult in dealing with garbage and been environmental savvy. The company has always been cordial, minor charges for extra garbage if you notify them first. They are prompt, notify you of changes, and reliable. I highly recommend. I like the added service of providing you a large garbage container for you garbage.
