We're do I begin. I am from a tiny little town in western Wisconsin. We drove to Las Vegas and what an adventure it was. What was supposed to be a 30 hour drive turned into almost 3 days. I had to rerout to avoid i70 through Colorado mountains and it took me to I40. I unfortunately wasn't aware of the weather conditions that were happening and got stuck in the blizzard. After hours of sitting in traffic and being flooded by semi splash my car died mid blizzard traffic. I was able to limp it along to 9 miles shy of 93 on I40 wb when it just stopped for good. I called so many company's and so many refused to come get me. I didn't even get the drivers name but I called route 66 and they had me in their tow truck within 45 minutes of calling. He made sure to bring me to a hotel and drop my car in an accessible place for the repair to come get. I can't express the amount of gratitude I have for this company and this driver. My son turned 18 on the side of the road of I40 on March 8th. You guys literally saved the day and our vacation. I would 100% recommend this company 1,000 times over.

If you get a flat repair the stem cap is not a concern even a nice stem cap I’ve heard this from more than one person you shouldn’t have to ask for your stem cap back but everyone is very AZ. NICE !

We needed an emergency tire repair on our rental RV so that we could continue our journey to Las Vegas to catch our flight to England. The service we received at Historic Route 66 Seligman was exceptional - speedy, efficient, thorough and most of all, kind and caring. Wendy and the team did everything they could to get us back on the road. We could not recommend them highly enough. Next time you are in the area and you need help, make sure you use them.

Shout out to WENDY!!! SHE WAS AMAZING and should be employee of the month or year or something!😎 We stopped because a check engine light had been on and the truck was making a weird noise. It was closing time and the power was out..she helped us with a quick fix so we could be on our way to our regular mechanic. Stop here if you want personable service, with a smile and someone who cares...I recommend 👌 THANKS SO MUCH🩶

Wendy and the people at Historic Route 66 Automative saved our lives and gave us peace when we were broken down on I-40. Helped us out so much, I couldn’t recommend Wendy any more.

Very late review. But essentially you cannot rely on this place for AAA assistance if it is not convenient for them. Due to a road closure through the Prescott National Forest, I had to back track a significant distance and ran out of gas maybe 10 miles outside Seligman (which I accept is my fault). This was around 8:00PM. AAA attempted to contact this shop for roadside assistance, but they continued to ignore AAA. I called them directly and when I explained my situation and all I needed was gas I was told: "yeah, we don't do that here." So, I just asked for a tow into town (I was on the interstate). I was told again: "sorry, better try someone else, but it won't be until morning." This was around 11:00PM now at this point, so three hours of waiting. I was stuck on the side of the road until 7:00AM the following morning. When AAA finally got ahold of them, a driver came out and filled my tank enough to get me into town. When I asked the guy what made them wait so long, I was told: "my boss doesn't like to send people out at night because of the wildlife." I was also told they had several truck available that night that could have come out to me, but they chose not to. I learned that AAA won't always save you and Route 66 Automotive will only save you when the sun is up.

Dealing with this company was the least stressful part of our day. Thank you Wendy! We tow an H2 behind our motorhome and blew out a tire on the hummer. The office was awesome keeping us informed on where their driver was. We ended up unhooking the hummer leaving it on I40 and headed to Williams. They towed our vehicle 50 miles to Williams. Sean was super responsive, called when he got the hummer, called us again to let us know he had dropped it off at the shop and let us know everything was taken care of. He was very polite & totally my hero on day that was completely a disaster! Great Job Sean!!! Thank you, sincerely!!!

Visiting Vegas on vacation and took a day trip to Arizona. Ended up with a flat and AAA sent out this tow truck to us. Great people. Wendy in the office was so nice on the phone and our driver Zach was funny and personable. Made the hour drive to Kingman go by so quick! While pulling our trailer we lost All power. Barely made it to them. They stopped what they were doing to help us. They were friendly, knowledge, and honest. Helped us and we sure back on the road. Thank you Bryant and Wendy,!

Our car had issues while we were on Route 66. Not only did they, wait for us, after hours on a friday evening, but also provided service for free. Wonderful folks! Thank you so much for helping us out.

One star because I can't score it any lower. Legally parked here and the lady at the counter practically ran out to yell at us that we were in a no parking zone. We weren't, and the highway patrol officer she immediately called told her the same. This, and all the no parking signs elsewhere makes Seligman very uninviting.

Great service and Wendy at the front desk provides great customer service with a smile. I’d def use them again!

I got a flat tire that was destroyed by a screw in the construction on I-40 westbound in Seligman, AZ. My insurance was no help so I called them, as my daughter and I were stranded on the side of the interstate. They came out with the tow truck, plucked my car off the interstate and took it to their shop to replace the tire. Mind you, I have an exotic car. We were able to get back on the road so we could make it to our destination, and she will make it to her first day of school on time. Thank you guys and gal. I really appreciate it! Nice friendly people, here to help.

The nicest and most helpful people. Our rental car had an engine failure and they advised us on what to do. They let us use their phone and wait at their office. Many many thanks. Especially to the lady who helped us.

I just left here. Had a flat. They handled it and they were super friendly & knowledgeable about the area. Got me and my kids back on the road till I can get a new tire. Thanks again!

Using AAA, Historic Route 66 Towing was contacted to come out and help with a very blown tire. Tyler from this company found us and switched out our tire in a swift manner. Very friendly, even followed us for a bit to make sure there wasn't any issue. Thank you sir.

My car broke down in a storm about 6 miles West of Seligman, AZ heading towards Kingman. I called AAA to get a tow and probably not even 2 minutes after finishing my request with AAA, I get a call from these guys (I admit I feel awful, I spent 3 hours with the driver and didn't get his name) and within 15 to 20 minutes of him calling, my car was on the back of the tow truck and we were on our way. The driver was very friendly and nice to talk to. I'm sorry I didn't get your name but thank you so much! Recommend these guys for anyone in the Seligman and even the Flagstaff area. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Our RV broke down in Seligman, AZ. Historic Route 66 Automotive did not have the necessary parts but they let us use their parking lot and sit in their shady bench for hours. Wendy provided us with multiple names and numbers of service providers to tow and repair our RV. We would never have located the providers needed to rescue us without them. They went above and beyond for us.

Hey Randy! The Toyota Camry you “repaired’ yesterday didn’t make it the 125 mile ride home. I tried to call to let you know but nobody answered the phone. Weird.. Listen, maybe it’s me. Maybe I didn’t specify that I actually wanted the car repaired to make it home? I figured that was common sense, my bad. Any who…if ya got an extra $297, a bunch of time to waste, and don’t actually want your car to work…..get a hold of Randy!

My truck was in the shop for two tire repairs and an oil change. Jerry, began work on this immediately. He was both professional and informative. I would suggest this shop to others, as they were prompt and efficient. Great customer service Jerry! Thank you for your help. 😊👍

What a joke. Got a flat tire at the Chevron across the street from this place in the middle of the night. Tow truck driver was out in his truck. I walk over to him and ask him if the shop does tire repairs and if he could change a tire. He tells me he is not changing a tire out and that we are out of luck the shop does not open until Monday. I ask about a tow and ask if they take Geico, he again tells me I’m out of ouch they do not take Geico. I walk back to my car and change my tire out myself and watch him hurry up and go to the shop and jump in his personal car and drive off. What a fantastic person that guy was and so super helpful! Not! Do not go here they will not lift a finger to help you out! I was with my wife and four kids and he didn’t care at all.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Save yourself the time, don't go here. While in Seligman, AZ, we had two instances where we needed automotive help. First, we needed a new tire and when they didn't have our exact size, refused our purchase, said it was illegal to put a different tire than the one that was already on there. Second chance: we needed some help with our RV, they said they didn't do work on the road. They would not come 1 mile to our campsite, even though they're a AAA provider, and we have AAA RV coverage.

2 flats and one spare out and about with my daughter on Father's Day day and Steve at Historic Route 66 Auto was friendly, professional, and quick in repairing both tires and getting us on our way! Definitely recommend these guys!

Had an issue with our alternator passing by Seligman. The guys here were very friendly and accommodating, giving me a ride to and from my hotel while they worked on the car and got us fixed up and back on the road as quickly as possible. Overall a great experience

Loren and Justin worked with my claims adjuster and did a phenomenal job repairing our trailer. Hands down grade A service. They are small, and in the middle of nowhere, but nothing beats their friendly service. Broke down, towed us, repaired swiftly. Thank you Route 66 Auto!! Y'all are awesome!

I totally respect a mechanic with a clean shop! Also, gave us expert advice on our tow dolly - since they also do Uhaul tow stuff. Taught us the right and better way for sure. Just needed a spare put on since they didn't have our tire size. Awesome guys - totally worth it.
