These folks are legal thieves. Took in 140 lbs of pure aluminum and was offered 6.00 for it. It should have brought 125.00 minimum. I left and told them to keep their money because it appeared they needed its money worse than me. They are taking advantage of people in the worst way. I shopped other scrap yards and they were by far the most laughable.
I bought a part. They only give a credit. Ok.
Part was bad. I took it back exspecting a credit and a refund of the core.
Nope. Got a credit for the core also unless i wanted to bring a nother one in (cant wrap my head around this 1) i will think 3 or 4 times before i go there again.

Grossly under weighed rear jeep axle. Said it weighed #60 . Received $3.00 for it. Not worth the effort to reload it and have it weighed over.

I make U PICK IT my first stop whenever I need auto parts. It's great to buy parts this cheep. They have a great selection of a variety of cars and trucks.
I occasionally search and shop U PIK IT. I am glad to have this business in our community, especially working on older vehicles.
People need to remember these are used parts, there is no way U PICK IT can know there working status unless stated otherwise.
They do offer a limited warranty for a nominal fee, so that is helpful. But if you are looking for a hard to find part they just might have it. But you need to go in the yard with your own tools and remove it from the vehicle, this is not always easy if you did not bring the necessary tools or have the know how.
As far as the 2$ entry fee- every business has its own policy. Like it or not- Pay it or not just like Costco. I take the I need the part it may be a small price to pay position.
I give one star because there is no option for 0 stars. Very unfriendly staff quite rude actually and charging MORE for parts off used wrecked cars than the parts cost brand new ...

I like going here to find car parts. They don't haggle on price, everything is priced by type or category and you can ask on the way in how much something will cost. I think the prices for large parts are reasonable.
They are very helpful with their parts cross reference that they will print for you give them year model make and part and they can print a list of vehicles and yard locations for cross matching makes it much easier to find what you need.
I had never been to this place, but 5 minutes after arriving I was at the car I needed, and ten minutes after that I had my part. It would have cost me $80 on Amazon for this stupid little latch, these guys charged me $1.15. A very cool, well organized place.
If you have an older car, you'll find endless parts. If you have a newer car like 2014 and up or you have a car that isn't popular around, they most likely won't have it. But other than that, great place and great prices.

This is the only dependable place for salvage parts in the Prescott Area. You do the work, but if you lnow what you want they can give you a readout of where the cars are that you are looking for. On hot days go early, no shade from the sun. Bring the tools you need. Be sure to get a wheelbarrow to cart larger items. If you are patient and willing to walk a ways you will probably find what you are looking for. Some prices seem high, other parts seem more reasonable. I needed a wheel rim for a 2009 Malibu, which I found near the end row.
I am ever grateful for this business, and would recommend anyone who needs car parts to go get them here. Unfortunately, I had to get rid of another car, and they gave me a tow, and a fair deal for a car with a broken transmission within hours of it having to be towed twice and diagnosed. I can’t thank them enough for their time, patience, and professionalism in a busy day. Everyone had true customer service. However, the main two responsible for the amazing interaction were Terry and Bo.

Sometimes they'll have 3 or 4 of the vehicle you need, sometimes Zero. It's the nature of the beast.
Today, we went in search of Denali and CRV, and came up empty, but last time I was there, 3 CRVs were present. Inventory is shown online, I believe, but I know for sure you can call and ask if they have a certain vehicle.
Be prepared to do all removal work YOURSELF, and bring your own tools, of course.
Awesome selection of used tires. Matt is super knowledgeable and has mastered the lost art of cross referencing ever kind of part and vehicle out there. Got some awesome A/T tires for super cheap. Neither of us saw that they were a pair and I ended up getting then for cheaper that I was supposed to. I offered to pay the extra money but they said it was cool. I was on the fence about used tires but when I saw the tread life and condition I couldn't pass it up. Yeah, they'll probably only last 30,000 miles but I got f'ing Cooper SST pro's and Duratrac's ($1200 retail) for less than $150. Soooo, yeah...there's that.
A fun experience, can be difficult finding the proper parts for your vehicle, but no more so than other salvages. The vehicles are also propped up, so it's easier to get below them to harvest parts. Fun to see other vehicles too!
