I won’t even attempt to go here because they do not even answer the phones when you call and have a question, why would I waste my time coming out there to find out what I need to know? Unprofessional

Shady a.f. Took in several types of material, wasn't paid for amount I brought in. No receipt for anything. Nice enough guy just not honest with his customers. Won't ever be back here.
Short guy with vest is very dishonest! First time I got shorted on my scrap at this place! I called him out twice trying to pay me for dirty stainless steel when it was clean and never showed me or printed on my receipt my aluminum cans weight or price per pound??? Estimated how much scrap metal I had, never weighed it?
I was not sure about going to a recycle yard to look for an Instapot but a friend told me to. I went to Harman's and found a practically brand new Instapot, no dents, all working parts and pieces. Paid $10 for it and I love it! While I was there, I found a few other useful items like chicken wire and s screw driver. Great place, the owner Ravi, was very generous. Nice guy. I will go again.
Harmons is awesome....Husband & I has been going there for the past 3 yrs. We've NEVER felt ripped off, we've NEVER felt like we were a waste of their time..the gentleman that seems to be always there,his name is Sonny.
Sonny has always been very nice every time we've gone there. He's always weighed our stuff and every one else that i have personally seen go there has had their stuff weighed. We've NEVER had any issues I'm saying this because it upsets me when people LIE. I noticed on reviews these 2 females were trash talking this place.
They have nothing better to do with their time I guess.
Definitely wont be coming here again. The whole experience felt very shady, there was no communication, every question I asked I got one word responses, if even that. The guy made me feel like we were inconveniencing him and like we were wasting his time....
Plus to be told a Certain price when called this morning just to have them change it and pay less once all was said and done....? Yeah, no thanks.
I had 200+ lbs of various metals that they separated and weighed individually. Very nice people. Paid great prices & all with a smile. Thanks Harman's you do great work!
They are fair here. I brought a truck load of scrap, and bought some square stock as well. Was satisfied with both transactions. I wish it was a little bigger because its tight in there, but you get paid fair scrap prices and its nice that they have racks of good steel stock to buy, because its a lot cheaper than getting it new.
Workers were helpful and friendly. Price was fair. What more do you ask for and they offered me a bottle of water . wow. That may or may not be policy .
I've been here a few times and have always had a good experience. Prices are very reasonable in my opinion and I feel like I have always gotten a fair payout. What you get paid depends what you bring how you bring it and what the economy is doing. Don't complain if you didn't sort your scrap or call for prices first. I'll keep going back to this scrap yard because I feel like it's one of the best ones around town.
Never even knew they were there. The place I normally go. Was closing to look up other ones and found harman's Yep, they're awesome. Didn't jerk me around. No hassles nothing. I will be going there again. Oh. And their prices are awesome, too.
My husband came to recycle his copper. The owner greeted us and was extremely nice and helpful. He helped him separate his copper and paid him over his rate. We will definitely be coming back to this location for all future recycling needs!
Hands down the Best place to take your recycling to. Very friendly, always willing to help unload your items, and awesome prices! I’ve been going to him for 5 years and haven’t thought about going anyplace else...I go out of my way to do business with him. I highly recommend him to anybody recycling.
I get anxiety really bad when I go to a strange place for the first time, so i will forget to speak up and ask questions and just be polite. To be fair i didn't weigh my 3 bags of cans about 2/3trunkful. I usually take my cans to crismon rd but STOopiD traffic made me late(they close @3) so I decide I want my trunk empty and Google search Harman's, nobody was rude, just quiet nbd. I was told just put them on the scale as he walked into the office area and nobody to ask what does it look like I never been to a place like this, um ok didn't see a big basket thingy, hmmm the focal point is this big platform so okie dokie, no need for anxiety set the bags down, and kinda look around at stuff, neat place looked very organized saw a good looking man going about his work, would have made my day if he would have started a dialog, he could have told me about the place after I would have said I've never been here before...
Sry I'm divorced and 42 so I am unable to turn off my cute guy detector... anyway first guy returns quickly enuff has me 15.25 no receipt and says thank you so did I and I left thinking how odd and quiet and laid back it was, I don't even know how much me cans weighed or price per pound I coulda done the math so I don't have any idea if price was low and weight was low or proof I was even there lol. Sure most people could just ask but not a girl like me, I get anxiety in these situations and I didn't have a friend to speak up for me. First time I did this I had a trunkful and got over $40 that was a few years and just over a buck a pound. I'll probably go back next time anyway just so I can check out the cute guy again...

Was not organized, didn't even weigh my scrap, just guestimated. Definitely not on the heavy side.
Prices are not better than any other place. $20/ton.
I went in to recycle an engine block and recied a total of 15 dollars for 500 pounds of cast iron. Not bad but what really irritated me is the guy hit my truck with his forklift and wouldn't even talk to me about it he handed me my money and said bye. He obviously didn't know how to operate machinery this place is an osha nightmare
First time taking my recycling to Harman's and I had a few different types of metal. They were quick to get it sorted and weighed. His prices are very reasonable. I would recommend anyone to use him as their recycling guy.
Ravi helped me today! I was so greatful for the customer service they extend here! I checked around at other places and choose this one because of the great reviews on Google. And it was definitely true. He helped me get everything out of my car too! I will be returning and telling my nieghbors to start going here! An awesome experience all around. And yes I do understand I can go into downtown Phoenix to get more money, but this is just a hop, skip and a jump away so I prefer going here. Less hassle. Less gas. Less wear and tear on my vehicle. Plus the service here is top notch. You even can take water bottles here too!! Thanks again!
Only gave 5 stars so this message will be seen , it should be -3 stars. 2 weeks ago I took my cans in to recycle and weighed them before i left the house and they weighed 24 lbs. and when i got to the scrap yard and they weighed them they were 18 lbs. and they gave me $1 per lb and today I took in 14 lbs. And when i got there they only weighed 9lbs and then the guy hands me $6.30 . When i asked what happened to the $1 per lb he tells me they're only paying .70 per lb. and that's been their price for 2 months. Then he said if i don't like it i could take my cans with me and wouldn't give me a bag after mine got ripped to put them in their container. Be Careful when dealing with these cheats because they'll change their price while you're standing there. I'll be contacting the Dept. Of weights and measures and other law enforcement agencies to look around the yard for serial numbers and other stolen goods.
I have known the owner for quite some time and he has always given me a great price for any metals I have taken to him. His scale is on point as I have tested it (I took a gallon of water there when I first started going there and it was perfect. A gallon weights 8.75 pounds and there scale was accurate). The owner can't be any nicer. He will have my business always. ...
I bring all my scrap metal to Harmon's and they always pay the best prices! They are friendly and fair and always go above and beyond to make sure I leave there happy. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Thanks guys for all you do!
Great service ,and the Best price on copper, brass,aluminum, aluminum /copper radiators in the whole east vally. Wish I would of knew about this place a long time ago. Thanks Mike,Robby for fast friendly services. I will tell any of my hvac guys about you and how you pay better than any yard in East valley.
This place is running a shady business. No weight device on the "scale". There is numbers on the side of the metal containers and so all they do it calculate those numbers. Everywhere else you have to sign. I had to ask for a receipt from this place. Oh and can you say rude, I had to empty out all my bags while they just stood their. I will NEVER GO HERE AGAIN. I don't care if the are the highest pay out at that time. Never in my life have I had a owner of a place be so freaking rude when I asked about his shadyness. Guilty much!
