This place is a ripoff.l!!! I was told i would get .30-.35 cents per pound & had over 200 pounds of aluminum. When I went to the office to collect the lady tried to hand me $10. It took me insisting on getting my aluminum back before she payed me out the correct amount. Watch out for the employees, they WILL pocket your money. I wonder if the owner knows that they have a group of thieves working tor them.
Took my cans in for recycling and the staff was very kind and helpful! The process was quick and easy. The staff offered us nice and cold water bottles afterwards, which was awesome considering the heat. They have good trade in prices for all the different kinds of recycling materials they take in. I would definitely recommend bringing your recyclables here! Thank you guys!
Like the place for clean copper, good price most of the time, but do not bring unclean copper wire will get far less than everywhere else, we're taking less than a dollar per pound
I have taken scrap wire in all over the country and this place is the worst.
They grade everything lower than what it is and they get angry when you ask why they are grading lower.
Won't be back to this location.
Great prices, dude the helps run the yard helps unload and even will do it him self. Great people and well cleaned, give receipt of every scrap run I've ran. Competitive payouts, depending on the eco. Always paid great, even for little loads of scrap.
Great place for me to get rid of my scrap wire from my electrical business. Go about every 6 months to unload and always leave happy with plenty of cash. Thanks to the guys in the yard for being cool dudes and hard workers.
We got 35 bucks for 6 black garbage bags of cans. It was .50cents a lb. The guy was incredibly nice and the layout is really easy. Will definitely be back because that was too easy.
John and Matt are always kick ass, nice and professional they help out they talk to you. They’re very friendly and there’s a lot of recycle places you can go to here in the East Valley and I choose to come back to this one every time because of how they treat you not only has a customer, but they remember you by name again, professional and do a good job

Arrived at 4:03pm. Gate open. Had 3 aluminum chairs and 1 aluminum wheel to donate. 30 seconds max to unload.

I brought in about 500 pounds of aluminum and copper that I have been piling up from various junk removal jobs I have done. They wouldn't put my truck on the scale, then asked if I just wanted to donate it.
Do they think people are dumb?
Why would you come here? Called and they quoted me $30/ton for clean metal! That is 50% less than anybody else in the valley. Took my ton of metal to All Metal Buy Scrap in Mesa for 6.5 cents a pound, paid me $130.00 cash and very pleasant to deal with.
I have used this place repeatedly since they moved there from the other spot. Today they messed with me and tried to play me like I have never scrapped in my life. I didn't recognize anybody down there. I had electric motors that they only gave me steel prices for. I have scrapped metal for years and have a dismantled license.n I let them have it but now I will make the drive to the place where they sell it to. I just liked the convenience of the location and was willing to take the hit until today I will never use them again.
I just recycled my scrap metal from my plumbing company today here and had a great experience.
The area was clean and organized compared to the other recycling facilities I have been to in the East Valley.
The guys helped me off load my bins and even explained how to break down the different metals better to get a better price next time.
I will be coming back here.
In and out in probably 12 minutes, Johnathan working the yard was great, really good attitude. The only issue is how tight the turn radius is entering and exiting the scale. Judging by the condition of the curb on the westside, it would appear I'm not the one ding dong that can't drive a straight axle Super Duty lol. The rest of facility is good to go. Will return for more business.
Staff is always really cool, nice facility but, my only complaint is that they have the lowest prices in town. Go to mesa or Phoenix and make a lot more money when you're turning in your metals.
I’m not sure what they mean about friendly staff that will help unload. I must’ve missed them in passing. Me 44 recovering from stroke my elderly father and brother came here since online they said that bit about staff that was just chomping at the bit to help. We pull up there is no one to tell us where to unload let alone help us . We waited like five minutes then parked by mixed metal pile (since that’s what e has) started unload
Then out of nowhere someone decides to tell us we can’t unload there . More I’m not sure if he wanted us to load it back on trailer but that was not happening any how about a ton of mixed materials and we got $23.50
Called to check prices for steel today and they tell me $50 a ton. I can go to Tempe and get $125 ton. I'm all for making money, but that's just pure being greedy and taking advantage of people. Yeah the market changes daily, but you can't be that far off in prices compared to everyone else when you are definitely getting the same value for your dollar like they are when you turn it in.
Took scrap someone left in our yard in specifically saying that we were keeping the nice steel storage box since it was actually ours then they had us pull around and brought out those huge over kill industrial grabber and I don't even know what he was doing there wasn't much there and it was all light but he crushed it all down with the claws busting up our storage box and pretended not to see the huge dent and the second guy said alright as a response like it wasn't a big deal. Never going here again.
Fantastic service and always friendly. I tried to top them and they refused and said they couldn't accept tips but reviews are worth more. I highly recommend, the facility is well taken care of, neat and tidy considering the nature of the business, fair and no nonsense when it comes to paying out in cash!!
They always get me right in and out. The entire staff are very friendly and helpful. Been taking my cans here for years. No , not always the best price in town , but the service you'll receive more than makes up for it. Remember , time is money. And they will never leave you waiting. A+
Price was good. GREAT customer service. Had the truck unloaded really fast. Friendly folks. looking forward to returning. Even if I wasn't happy with the price I WOULD return just for the customer service. Few places left that have good service.
They have the best heavy equipment operator on Earth his name is Merick. He did not leave a scratch on my trailer he unloaded probably 4 thousand pounds of small pieces of metal out of it in just a couple minutes!! Great place great people decent prices for the area
I have been here a bunch of times with many different types of scrap metal! I have been to many different scrap yards before from working all over the valley and this one is my favorite, good customer service, nice people, and they always help me sort my metal even when I noticed I didn’t have good metal. I’m not sure why people seem to have problems with them they are great people, they even took my scrap metal ten minutes before closing!
My first experience was a pleasant women answering the phone, providing clear and precise directions.
I went to the yard and found it well organized, CLEAN and very helpful people.
The prices paid were fair market.
I cannot say enough positive things about EVT except try them your self.

Great staff; very courteous and professional. Good place to go if you don't do this often; I don't know the routine at scrapyards like this, but they walked me through the process and helped me unload and just made it easy and stress-free. They were careful not to ding my truck unloading the metal and they helped me sort out the more valuable metal so they could give me the highest possible payout. I'm definitely taking all my scrap metal here in the future.
