They charged me $180 for a simple tow. In town, Cambell to Ina road. I have a small fleet of vans and I usually use Frontier towing for around $75, from anywhere I have them tow us in town. I was in a rush and called Catalina. 2.5 times the price. Bad on me. Update to my review: The owner called our shop threatening my staff about the review I left. Warning us that they will leave bad reviews for our business if I didn't retract this review. As another business owner in town, I did try and call the owner back to discuss my review, but he never returned my call after that. I use a tow truck about three times a year and couldn't recall Frontier's name. I called Catalina first, and they overcharged me. Our employee that approved the amount had no idea they were taking advantage of us. She was just doing her job. It was a bad review over the price. Please don't call my store and threaten my staff. Thank you to your wife for using the best flower shop in town.

Luis was the only person of four! sent to me in 24 hours who FINALLY could tow my newish Hyundai hybrid whose battery failed. I’m cancelling my AAA who repeatedly lied ( canceled my request twice as they said they called and I “failed to answer”.My phone lists all calls. They didn’t. I’m utterly disgusted with them. They’ve completely failed me 4 of the 5 times I’ve attempted to utilize them in the past 6 mos. Back to Luis, he cheerfully and efficiently got her done after I had gone through the run around for 24 hours.

Cory at Catalina Towing was great. As a professional driver I'm a little embarrassed to admit that I was stuck in the sand off course in a dry riverbed lol.

We had to call our insurance for a tow as our car wouldn’t start. Manuel Godinez called ahead to let us know he was on his way, and arrived very promptly. He assessed our situation with patience and was incredibly kind to us as he attempted to start the car. Manuel Godinez answered our questions along the way and was able to get us going without a tow, staying to double check the battery would hold a charge to the nearest auto repair shop. I am so grateful for his help and honestly amazed by the level of care. I was worried about calling for car trouble, but my mind was put at ease thanks for Catalina Towing and Recovery.

I recently used this towing company through my insurance to transport my vehicle to my mechanic. While the driver arrived promptly, the experience was unfortunately not what I would consider professional. When he arrived, I suggested he pull around to the back of my yard, where there’s plenty of space, to access the vehicle. The driver was clearly not on board with this idea and instead recommended I start the car and drive it onto his truck, despite my concern about a potentially damaging grinding noise from the motor. When I declined to start the vehicle, he appeared frustrated and indicated that using chains would take longer. The interaction felt somewhat passive-aggressive, which was disappointing. I cleared additional space by moving another vehicle, but the driver chose to back up at an angle, further from the vehicle than necessary. I asked if he could back in directly, as there’s ample room in the driveway (we've had cement trucks maneuver here before), but he insisted it was too tight for his truck. Reluctantly, I started my vehicle to get it closer to him. After documenting the vehicle thoroughly with photos, he transported it as requested. The vehicle was delivered without any apparent damage, which I appreciate, but given the driver’s demeanor and the overall interaction, I would not choose this company again or recommend them. Perhaps my experience was unusual given the other positive reviews here, but I believe in sharing both positive and constructive feedback.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! I broke down on the I-10 heading back home to New Mexico. After dealing with a Flaky towing company who never showed up to get my truck (Mobile Maintenance and Towing), Catalina showed up within an hour with no hesitation. I would definitely recommend this towing company to any one in the Tucson area!

The transmission in my old Tahoe went out yesterday leaving me stuck on the side of the road. I called Catalina Towing and Tristen arrived much faster than I expected. He loaded the Tahoe up quickly and dropped it off at the mechanic just prior to closing time. Service was outstanding from initial call with Nate to quick response and loading from Tristen. This is the third time I have used Catalina Towing and each time they have been outstanding. Should I be in need of a tow again, I will call Catalina Towing again.

I have used Catalina twice and both time got Nate the owner Very Polite,.Professional, and very easy going g my #1 choice is Catalina Towing when you dealt with the rest while settle for them whe. CATALINA their the best I have now used this amazing company and as usual they were awesome on time as promised and as courteous. My hats off to Nate he and his team are amazing. I wouldn't utilize any other company than Catalina Towing, if you want a damage free Towing experience and the most polite team, the heck with the rest use the best.

Awesome company. I was off roading in the desert when I unfortunately experienced some vehicle failure and could no longer make it out. These guys came out at 6am on a Sunday to come get my vehicle out and did a great job of it.

Once at midnight in the middle of picture rocks last year that actually required a towing and again a couple weeks ago when Cory was nice enough to help me with my battery and get me up and running when I thought I was gonna need a tow. His graciousness and kindness as I navigate a world on my own for the first time was a breath of fresh air in this Wild West state. Thank you Catalina towing and thank you Cory.

I haven't met or even seen these folks, but I used them this weekend and the experience was great. They were recommended by Klipper's, so I called them to tow my Jeep from Omni after breaking down. They responded in minutes and towed the vehicle and billed them directly. Easiest tow I've ever had. Thank you, Catalina.

Nate saved me big time this morning when my dump truck ran out of fuel on the highway. He showed up within a few minutes and towed me to the gas station. He’s the only person I’d call for a tow.

Absolutely amazing, my van and large tow behind air compressor, were stuck on an extremely steep incline and the van didn't have enough power to get up the road and we were sliding down towards a cliff, not much room to get around us but Catalina towing did everything they could to pull us up the rest of the way so we could turn around. Great service, well maintained equipment, and extremely professional.

Excellent service. Fast response for an emergency tow on a Saturday. The gentleman that towed the vehicle deserves a raise. He was extremely professional and helpful with a great attitude. Large truck was towed from Oro Valley to central tucson with no problem at all at a fair price. They offer lockout service as well. Highly recommended.

If you want the short version of my review for Catalina Towing, they are simply phenomenal! If you want to know more, I'll go through the entire process because every step was perfect. I woke up on the morning of my birthday to find that I had gotten a flat tire on my 2016 Camaro the night before - lucky me! I called for roadside assistance through my insurance company even though I was concerned about going this route, presuming they'd contract the lowest cost provider with questionable credentials and a beat-up truck, but was delighted when the clean, shiny Catalina Towing flatbed pulled up. Justin arrived less than an hour after I contacted my insurance company and greeted me warmly. He began admiring my car as he set to work, which reassured me it was in good hands and he was going to do everything he could to take care of it. He got it loaded quickly and we headed to Discount Tire, chatting comfortably about life in Tucson and his plans to return to his home in Nevada. I acknowledged how nice the truck was and he told me that yes, the owner was a bit of a stickler for that and would even make comments when he looked inside one of his driver's trucks and could smell that they had eaten their lunch in the cab. That kind of attention to detail tells you he's running a company that cares about the customer experience, not just hooking up cars and dragging them around town! Kudos to you, sir. Once we arrived at Discount, Justin even went inside with me to respectfully ask where they would like the car dropped. He then proceeded to offload my car and slide it into a parking spot so deftly and precisely that I literally could not have parked it better myself using the back-up camera. My repairs were completed quickly and I was back on my way to enjoy the rest of my day. Unfortunately, I believe Justin has since returned home but if he's any representation of what Catalina Towing and their team of professionals is all about, you can't go wrong! The main reason I chose Catalina Towing to help me out was because of the reviews I read. For that reason, I feel I need to leave my comment for others to make a decision. Amazing service. My car was stuck in a parking lot, so I called while I was at work and explained I needed it towed home. I gave them a time and they were there waiting as I pulled in the parking lot after work. Nate took my call and set it up, and Josh met us at the lot. They were both so nice and accommodating. I recommend these guys for anyone that needs assistance!! Thanks guys!!!!
