I love going over here to recycle my cans and see Don! He’s great! There’s been a couple of times I’ve loaded up my cans thinking he would be there and then wasn’t there that day cause he was traveling or something..so wasn’t taking cans. Can’t get mad at him though for having a life too! That’s why I’m still giving five stars, and also because Don is very personable and remembers my face and is always super kind in our interactions. Plus! His little shop has some pretty awesome finds in there! A great little shop for tourists and people passing through the area and want to pick up a neat item or gift!
The only recycling place on the mountain that gives a good price and are friendly as can be.The store also has awesome elk dog bones witch my dog loves

After I did all the work placing my crushed cans from my plastic bags into his plastic drum, to weigh, he said it was 55lbs minus 19 lbs for plastic drum.
He wrote a receipt that says 36y30 $10.80. This amounts to $.3 per pound. Going avg on this day $.52 per pound.
I save cans for the environment, but will never go to this business again for anything. He also asked me why I wanted a receipt that no one else but charity groups need them. Really, he had me sign something but is hesitant to give a receipt. The Department of Weights and Measures should check this operation out.
I called several time with no pick up then the employee that answered was extremely rude and told me if I wanted to know about any of there vehicles that I would have to go and look at it myself and that he couldn't help me if I could I would give them 0 stars
The employee was rude. He told us to wait in the hail and rain, and then he didn’t return for at least twenty minutes. We ended up just leaving our cans there without compensation. We will not be returning and would encourage others to go elsewhere.
