Responsive. The driver should not try and diagnose engine problems. Caused stress to the customer.

The driver was unprofessional and was cussing and left us at the place we were stuck at

Don’t call if it’s after dark and you need to be extracted. He won’t send anyone out to rescue until morning. Just call someone else if you’re seriously stuck and someone else can direct you to another company at least and not belittle you. I suggest calling James with Afford A Tow. He’ll get you out no matter what.

Had a load shift going down the road. Called Ed and him and a helper and a backhoe pushed the load straight again. Great work and very professional.

The guy who we made the arrangement with and the guy who towed us were great! But $275. to tow our 30' trailer to our hotel a block away, AND $275. to haul out pickup less than a mile I think was a bit overboard.

Rental car jeep from tourist got stuck in the mud and wench out only 7 miles outside of Holbrook and Sampson billed a whopping $358 !!!! Price gouging at its worst. Never use this ripoff company!

Good service. Reasonable price. The driver arrived in a reasonable time. He was polite and helpful. He tied down our vehicle and hauled us and it to the nearest town. Samson Towing helped us.

They are all very friendly and professional. They've helped us on two separate occasions and we've never had any issues.

Absolutely outstanding! Came and got me very quickly at 2:30am then dropped my truck and I off at a great mechanic.

They came out and towed us from the highway and they were very professional. They got us to a safe location. They were both so friendly. I will forever highly recommend this towing company to everyone I know traveling through Holbrook Arizona. Such great guys, with a very professional attitude. ?

Ed treated us great. Locked my keys in my van at McDonalds leaving me, my wife & 4 kids stranded on a road trip across the country. Ed shuffled around a couple tow trips he had lined up with his driver to help us out. Thanks Ed & Jace!

I was put in touch with Samson Towing through USAA since my road side assistance didn't cover getting my motorcycle unstuck from a soft, sandy shoulder. I was on a very sandy, but named, road at the intersection of a similar road about 1-1.5 miles from asphalt that was less than a mile from the exit off of I-40. Roughly 35 mile round trip call for this company. It was just after dark (~6:30 or 7:00) on a typical cool, dry Oct night. I'm not sure how many other co's USAA called before they found Samson, but it took them a while to call me back even with his info. After all was said and done, I should have called around myself anyway. I called Ed back as instructed by USAA, who spoke with him first. He is the owner of the company. He didn't feel comfortable sending a truck and driver out at night to those sandy roads. I wasn't happy about it, but he knows the limits of his trucks and drivers. What could I say? Jace, his driver, came out the next morning after I called back letting him know I was still out there and needed help. Jace showed up an hour later, very friendly and professional. The job was an easy one, just one I couldn't do with only do with one person in that loose sand. He and I together got it unstuck in less than 10 seconds, including putting some old pieces of wood from the road side under the tires for traction. He is the reason Samson gets any stars back from me at all. So why only 2 stars? After all, bad luck and bad timing aren't Ed's fault. I'm not thin-skinned, I only took 1 star off for Ed just being rude, but I took 3 stars off for him gouging me after being so hard to work with. He sounded angry I was even calling him. There are less confrontational ways to say, "we can help but not tonight", that don't involve implying I'm lying or wrong about my position in relation to the road or the interstate. He kept saying he can't find me lost in the desert unless I could give him my exact position. The name of the two roads that could easily be found on Google Maps wasn't exact enough apparently, and he said he didn't trust GPS coordinates in that area, which I also offered. I gave him my position and directions with and without Google Maps, which he was using. The bike wasn't just near that intersection, after my attempts to get it unstuck myself, it was IN the intersection. That 15 second job involving two pieces of rotten wood for friction and me doing half the work on a roughly 35mi round trip call out cost me more than $260. If he had come out the night before, I wouldn't have been happy, but I wouldn't complain. I just needed another body to give me a hand. How much would a real challenge have cost me? $135 call out fee, $60 to help me lift the bike, and the rest (roughly $70, or $2/mile) in mileage. If you need help in this area, I strongly recommend you call someone else.
