If you have or had a loved one live or living in Paradise RV Resort, you may want to read this!!
*In June my mom passed away 2025.
*In February moms home sold.
*In March I received a check for the remaining of the property fees Paid. It was stated that I had to pay for the full year, for 2026, in Dec of 2025 for the upcoming year ( even though moms trailer was for sale). I was told by office staff that I would get the remaining amount when the trailer sells.
*In March when the check arrived it had my moms name on it. It could not be deposited in the bank.
*Today 5-29-2026 I still do not have a check with the correct name.
*After numerous phone calls, texts, in person visits, with Paradise RV Resort...this has not been resolved.
*The death certificate was lost, had to provide another months later, when they stated they did not have one.
*March 24th, I notified Paradise RV that received the check, but it cannot be deposited.
*April 10th I was asked to provide a copy of death certificate!! ( which I provided to the two office staff shortly after moms passing!! THEN.. they could reissue the check into my name.
*Told could not be put in my name. I was on the title of thetrailer.
I was told, I needed to figure out a way the check could legally go in my name?? I;m on the title!
*April 13th ..."I have approval to reissue the chick in your name"
*May 6th,The Regional Manager and Accounts Payable notified.
*May 21st 2026...I was informed, I was on accounts payable set up list.
*April 30th RM just approved me, for resubmit. (I'm not in system for a check).
*May 5th, office staff, AP services department, crickets! but they would have it complete by today.
*May 21st, they are rushing this....expedite the check!
IF...anyone has a loved one, think twice about Paradise RV.
This has been a very HARD task of love. I was told I would receive the unused portion of the lot rent paid. NO idea it was going to be such a emotionally taxing process. What a shock the check was in deceased moms name! Lots of excuses and promises, but I still do not have the PROPERTY check payment. Extremely frustrating, I will be researching what Legal path I need to take, to get th money DUE/OWED to me.
I wouldn't recommend this so called "rv" park. This is a mobile home park for snow birds. Security lady was very rude with an attitude. Guests are rude. Check in was terrible process. 0 stars if I could
Check in was incredibly complicated and drawn out. They gave us a spot that is made for a 30 for trailer and we had a 40 foot. The electrical boxes and faucets look old and ghetto. This is more of a 55+ mobile home park than an rv resort. There's nothing here that screams resort. There's no grass for pets. It's right next to an air force base so there's constant fighter jets flying directly overhead and those are way louder than any commercial jet. Security is rude. The hours here are terrible. It's not located near anything yet somehow still in the middle of a neighborhood.
My husband and I took a trip to go visit our father. We stayed at Paradise RV and what a paradise it was. We enjoyed not only all the amenities at this paradise RV , the people were kind and friendly and you need to go check out the café by the pool. It is an awesome place to eat. People are friendly, lots of fun things to do.
This is our first time here. We are staying for 3 months. Everyone and everything is just wonderful. We are from Ohio and this is our location for the winter. We have already booked for 4 months next winter
