Not only did you answer all my questions but took the time to explain a few other things that was important such as a hard hat and a bright colored shirt. My first time here and young lady made the whole experience easy and less overwhelming (with all the big trucks). It’s pretty straightforward and inexpensive. Paid less than $14 for a truck bed full of branches from a fallen tree. I believe is that amount for anything under 600lbs and a Buckeye resident.
The landfill closes at 1:30 pm not 2 pm. Came in past that time and got turned away. I would recommend calling in before going just to make sure you will be able to dump
They never showed up to pickup my can that was set out for pickup on trash day. I Called in and spoke with there customer service agent who was rude and unhelpful about my missed garbage can pickup. The service here is horrible and Company staff needs more training along with the drivers on routes.
Had a great positive experience with employees. Scale house attendant was super nice and informative. The equipment operator on the working face at the top of the landfill cleared a huge strip of area so I could dump my load. That was super nice. Price to dump was fare. The cell walls were clean with little to no wind blown liter / trash around the facility.

I am a city of Buckeye resident and went to the dump on April 15th. They changed the policy where your ID isn't good enough and make you bring a trash bill to show ypur address to get the resident rate. I tried to explain to the receptionist that I do NOT get a bill, it is inserted into my payment and requested a phone number for the pou t of contact. For 2 months I have been calling and leaving messages with no call back. No one at the city knows the person in charge of the landfill. This is not right. Felix Cervantes
I sat in line for 45 min and dumped less than 100 pounds and am now sitting back in line for another 45 min…. Guess you have to use half your day for what used to take 5 minutes.
How are those who rent a house supposed to show them the trash bill when they pay their trash/water bill to the landlord?? Buckeye residents who rent are being charged non-resident rates. That is totally unfair and they are being overcharged.
We drove 25 minutes out to the Buckeye landfill knowing they close at 2pm on a Saturday so we made it with 20 minutes to spare. The person at the front said they closed at 1:30pm even though it says 2pm at multiple places online AND at the actual site. What a big waste of gas and time to drive so far due to misleading information.
They charge a $38 base rate for non buckeye residents. If you do not live in Buckeye, just drive the extra 20 minutes to the WM station east on the I-10. They charge $10 for residential loads
Yes this dump is cheaper than most, however they only have 1 scale, so after you dump your loads you need to get back in the long line with all the trucks that are lined up again just to weigh out... its frustrating when you only have to dump 400 pounds and takes longer to wait in a queue than it is to empty.. if there was an exit scale things would move faster I dont care about paying an extra $4 per ton...
Got a lot of rain this morning really muddy but they're getting it cleared out Whitney does a great job in the scale house God bless all of them and give them all the ways they deserve it
Would be nice if they updated the closing time for Saturday says 4 pm online and at the weigh scale. Then we show up at 155 and the gate is closed and that sign says 2 so nice wasted trip out here
The exit is 141, the landfill sign is small and simply says landfill. It will be on your left side. This is a dumpster drop in, you have to lift items into a dumpster about 4 feet from the ground level. A truck would help, there is no employee assistance or equipment to assist the customer.
The website says open until 4. I called the number, their recording says open till 4. But lady at the counter says the close at 2 on saturdays since April. Huge inconvenience to have a full truck of stuff that can’t be dropped off because your hours are clearly listed in multiple locations incorrectly. And nobody seems to care. Very dissatisfied with how this is being run. Fix your damn hours before people ruin their whole day trying to get things accomplished just so yours employees can go home early.
Residents have easy access to large dumpsters from a paved, drive-up, elevated drop off area. Easy to dispose of just about anything from lawn and tree refuse to large furniture. If you have questions about whether something is not acceptable, just call. Attendants are very helpful.
