So glad to have this store in Anthem, particularly when they have people like Jacob, who went overboard helping with 2 battery replacements in my RAM, everyone wants/requests good reviews but few earn them, so I felt it needed to be given to Jacob all the more!!!

Exceptional Customer Service From the moment we arrived, Harper was patient, understanding, and compassionate, taking the time to listen and help us navigate what was happening with our vehicle. Traveling with my daughters, I was already anxious, but Harper’s calm demeanor and willingness to explain every step gave me complete confidence that we were in good hands. Going Above and Beyond Then came Wade — a true example of what customer care should be. He went above and beyond to ensure we were safe, comfortable, and back on the road as quickly as possible. When both our battery and alternator failed, he didn’t hesitate for a second. I stopped in to get windshield wiper blades and they were really friendly. Let me wash my hands in the back. I was in a hurry as was on a road trip to make a meeting up north and there was a rainstorm. The staff helped me get what I needed very quickly.

dissatisfaction with a recent experience at your O’Reilly Auto Parts location in Anthem, Arizona. On July 6, 2025, I was troubleshooting issues with my boat and took it to MasterCraft Mesa for a diagnosis. Their initial assessment indicated faulty batteries, and while they offered me a quote for replacements, I opted to remove the old batteries and continue with their diagnostic process. In the meantime, I took the old batteries to the O’Reilly’s store in Anthem to test whether they could still take a charge. I was informed by an associate named Vincent that the batteries were bad and was quoted a replacement price that was significantly lower than what the dealership offered. I made the purchase based on this recommendation with the intent to install the new batteries once I got the boat back. Unfortunately, on July 10, 2025, I received confirmation from the dealership that the issue was with the boat’s motor, not the batteries. At that point, I returned to the same O’Reilly’s store to return the batteries, which had never been installed or used, were still in their original condition with caps intact, and I brought my original receipt from four days earlier. To my shock, Vincent immediately stated that batteries are non-refundable. At no point during the initial purchase was I informed of this policy. There was no signage, verbal notice, or notation on my receipt indicating that the batteries could not be returned. Had I been informed, I would have waited for the final diagnosis before making the purchase. I understand the need for stores to protect themselves against misuse or abuse of return policies. However, I believe this situation was handled very poorly. I was honest, prompt, and respectful, and I was met with inflexibility and a lack of accountability or transparency. This experience has left me extremely disappointed in O’Reilly Auto Parts. I feel misled, and now I’m stuck with expensive, unused batteries that I don’t need and must now research how to dispose of properly. I sincerely hope this location – and the company as a whole – revisits its approach to customer service, transparency, and return policy communication. If your question a problem with you vehicle, choose a different auto parts store. No need for a receipt or an account, you stuck with it.

Thx Melanie. You were patient and really helpful, despite being super busy. Free use of tools to swap out my battery which was under warranty. Got a new one at no charge. You make it easy to want to come back when needed.

The battery in my 2014 Mazda wouldn't start so, I got a jump from a friend and luckily headed to the neighborhood O'Reilly. There were 3 people in front of me in line but before I knew it, the line passed and I was happily greeted by Bob who quickly jumped to test my failing battery. Turns out my battery was no good. Bob helped me select a 3 year warranty battery which is absolutely necessary in our AZ heat! Replaced my battery and the corroded metal piece holding it down within a few minutes. The whole process was absolutely painless and I was ready to hit the road again in no time. Thanks again Anthem O'Reilly and special thanks to Bob for all you do.

I haven't ever been there when it was busy. They really go out of their way to find you what you need, even if they need to look it up. And when they look it up, they're tireless on trying to find exactly what you need. They have also referred us to other places to go if they weren't able to find what we were looking for. Very nice people and conscientious.

Good service. Good availability. Friendly staff. Not to be sexist here, but my experience is that the girls beat the boys for dependable, reliable service. They seem much more willing to dig a little deeper, when necessary, to make sure you get your part and that the part they sell you is the part you need.

Very nice employees, all are friendly, polite, and no more about parts than the other stores we had been to. The manager Ann, was amazing as she helped us today. Went out of her way to cross reference the parts we needed and showed us where anything else was that we may need, giving us alternatives. She was great..

Some of the best customer service we’ve ever experienced. We had to travel with the recent winter storm and wanted some cold weather necessities to ensure we are prepared. The staff went above and beyond to help us, making great suggestions and just being so friendly and helpful. Great team at this store. It was clean and stocked extremely well.
