I needed an impromptu tow passing through Tuba City. Barlow Towing was quick, friendly, communicative, and courteous. Well recommended.

This place needs to do better service. We called and asked about our vehicle. We were told $245.00 and end up paying 334.00. Business hours indicate 9am to 1pm. We showed up at 9:15 am. 4 other people were also waiting to get their vehicle out. She didn't open until 10:30. She didn't have our vehicle keys so she spent time calling around to see where are keys are. We didn't get our vehicle out until after 12:00

$1300.00 for a 54 mile tow is $24 a mile! Plus additional greedy daily high fees inquired while fundraising the unexpected. This is not business. This is taking advantage of the people’s honest hard earned money. Clearly you choose greed over towing, and God knows beyond what you think.

This place is weird, they tell you that your driver's license is there and as soon as you go back to get it they're a way for 2 hours. These people don't understand towing very well because they have strange reasons at targeting things. Just make sure your car does not get towed here because they don't understand electronics in the world around them. Especially the wife she does not understand time and she will not tell you when you should be there because when you she does they are not there. So make sure you're going to spend at least 3 days trying to get your vehicle back.

Saved me and my friends when we had brake issues during a road trip. Fixed the issue quickly and for a reasonable price. Thanks guys!

Terrible company! Avoid at all cost. They will damage your vehicle when towing it. They towed my Mustang and damaged the fender and all they offered was to saw it off with out any explanation or compensation. Typical unprofessional and under qualified business owners, very common in the area.

Big shoutout to Herman, he really saved my family today when our truck broke down about 30 minutes out of Tuba City. We were heading to Durango, Colorado and had no idea how we were gonna get there. He towed us back to an auto shop in Tuba City and offered to drive us to Flagstaff so we could get a rental car. Absolutely amazing service and so thankful for him!

Very poor communication. They wouldn’t come until paid in advance but even with an authorization and after accepting the contract from the insurance they didnt bother to let anyone know that until I called two hours later. They just accepted a contract to come, promised to arrive in an hour and they did nothing until they were paid but did not let anyone know they were waiting for a payment. I decided to pay cash and paid them cash and was told they would arrive in 30 minutes which turned into 90 without any contact, disappointing. Why can’t people who own these businesses just be straight forward with people

Bad company. They hold your belongings even with proper identification. It's also overpriced.

EXPENSIVE Towing ! $ 400 + For outside of city limits . Stranded for almost a week waiting to get my wheels fixed ...

Great owners. Great service. But, it's a geographically isolated community and shop and all costs accrued or requested are reflected in this. So, please be courteous and respectful.

For one day of towing fees paid $419.. that is outrageous! When your the only towing co within 100 mi radius I guess u can overcharge people. Closes early had to rush from out of town. Not happy with over paying.

You'd be hard pressed to find more personalized, professional and genuine service. We were fortunate to have them come and tow our truck after the brakes went out, early on a Saturday morning. Even fixed the broken part so we could get back on the road. I honestly cannot say enough good.

What a great guy ! I was stuck in the middle of no where. He even helped me fix my truck. If he is not busy helping others he will do anything for you. Remember this is his livelihood . Pay him well ! He is worth his weight in gold. Thank you man !

Very helpful and knowledgeable. Took the time to check my vehicle. But, when trying to go back or call the next day nobody was there for service. So, I ended up taking my car to another shop for service.

These are such a nice and honest group of guys, and they were able to help me out by managing my problem. As a tourist here you are in a highly remote area, and a lot of things may take longer than you expect. Just try to relax. They want to help, and if they could, they would get you back on the road the same day. Some auto parts take time to ship to their location, so try to take it easy and not blame yourself or anyone else. There is a hotel nearby, I stress that you should must book it as soon as you can if you must wait for parts. I was out of Barlow's 24 hours after I arrived. Be patient, an happy trails!

Barlow's is never honest. Especially with there towing service. They will rip you off with your service. None of the locals like them. Don't come over here for your service. Go somewhere else.

We were traveling through Tuba City and our Motorhome would not start after filling up with gas. Barlow Towing worked extra hours to resolve an issue that had plagued us for over a week. Their mechanic found and fixed the problem! We had already spent two days with two other mechanics who tried to diagnose the problem. We are so grateful for their perseverance and help. Thank you Freddy, Herman and Mrs. Barlow! With your assistance we safely made it home to Ohio. Thanks!

When driving through three years ago, our car was totaled. The tow truck came out immediately, and was helpful in helping us unload the tow trailer into the uhaul. I'm grateful for their help when we needed it.

when no one else could tow my truck Barlow Towing came to my aide in minutes, not hours. Although the damage to my vehicle was severe, they were able to find parts and utilize my spare to put me back on the road home to Wyoming. Thanks to all of you for helping a stranded motorist.

I was traveling through and my car broke down. They were nice at first and got it towed to their shop. It then took them 4 days to diagnose the problem (3 nights in a hotel). Then they said they needed a part from New Jersey and it would take another 4 days... I needed to go on with my life so I told them to just put it back the way it was. Then they told me that they needed $1,500 first before they would give me the key. So my options were: give them the title, pay $1,500 for a diagnostics (nothing fixed), or file a claim with the tribal council (no chance of a stranger winning and it would take a long time I'm sure). So they kept my car. I was out $6,000. But on the bright side: I didn't have to pay for the tow! Thanks Barlow. PS: the front desk people at the hotel said, and I quote: "oh no... not that place... they do that all the time to travelers!"

Last week my husband and I were in the southwest USA for our wedding and honeymoon. On June 6 we stopped at the Cameron Trading Post in Arizona and accidentally locked our key fob (the rental agency only gives you one) in our rental car. To make a long story short Hertz was unable to get any of their emergency service contractors or any AAA contractor (I am a member of AAA and have been for 31 years) to agree to help us. The gentleman who finally showed up to help us (two hours after our initial call to Hertz) according to the invoice we signed was from Barlow Towing in Tuba City. In a few minutes the car was unlocked, we retrieved the key fob and we were on our way. We are so thankful that Barlow Towing helped us out when no one else would. Cameron is just about an hour north from Flagstaff and in the grand scheme of things in AZ we thought that should not have been THAT big a deal. Fortunately we happened to be at a local business and not out in the desert standing in the sun for two hours. I am still flabbergasted that no local contractor for Hertz/AAA was willing to take the job assignment to help us out. Thank you again Barlow Towing. We appreciate your helping us continue on our way on our honeymoon road trip!
