What clients say about Teec Nos Pos Trading Post in Teec Nos Pos (AZ)

Nice little store, good gas prices. Note, there's no pay at the pump! If you need gas at night, the station 7.5 miles south in Beclabito or the one 16 miles west in Red Mesa have 24 hour pay at the pump.

Nice spot for a one night layover while traveling. The Teec Nos Pos is a very nice trading post with lots to offer. From fruit, veggies, meats, etc… to hand crafted beautiful items. Definitely recommended.

Easy spot to pull into off the side of the road and gas up. They have decent snacks as well as a small amount of groceries if need be lots of drinks and a variety of household goods. Very helpful spot sense there's nothing else for miles around. The staff are very friendly and welcoming I really enjoyed myself here and can see myself going back . ?

They have beautiful navajo jewelry, blankets, clothing, hand bags for sale. It's also a small grocery store with very nice people who work there.

Friendly staff, local handicrafts and an assortment of food and miscellaneous items. The bathrooms were clean enough but the flies were a bit much.

A quaint little roadside store in the heart of the Navajo Nation, a few miles Southwest of the Four Corners monument. This place had butchered mutton at their meat counter, a room with Navajo created blankets and art, as well as basic convenience store amenities.

What an incredible place to stop! Inside, there's a room filled with beautiful Diné (Navajo) Nation rugs in a wide range of sizes, colors, and price points—each one showcasing amazing patterns and craftsmanship. The trading post itself is a unique mix of grocery store and souvenir shop. There are two separate rooms dedicated to traditional collections, including ceramics, sculptures, and other cultural treasures. They also have a great selection of books covering the history of the Southwest and the people who have lived—and still live—there. I really enjoyed wandering through the store, checking out all the fascinating items, and taking a much-needed break from the long overland drive. The ice cream sandwich I grabbed hit the spot, too! The staff were friendly and welcoming, happy to answer questions and share insights. If you’re passing through, definitely make time to stop—you’ll be glad you did.

A really well stocked trading post is what I found next to the entrance of the Four Corners Monument. This retail store definitely connects with the Navajo presence in the local region. A vast array of native, handcrafted jewelry as well as a wide variety of clothing items are available. The owner seemed friendly and pleased to explain as much as he could about any item in the store

Everything was overpriced, and the works are extremely rude. It's not a good place to stop and check out... Keep driving! The only neat thing to see was the artwork on the walls outside.

Such a beautiful shop. They have a little bit of everything - a good variety of groceries and priceworthy vegetables, fun souvenirs and pretty jewelry! The staff is very helpful as well

HUGE selection of jewelry, rugs, and other handmade items. Grocery store, meat counter, etc. Could find anything you may need or want. Drink coolers weren't cold. However, the ice cream cooler was stocked full and icey cold.

Have lived in the area all my life. Some things in the shop are expensive, but are reasonably priced considering how remote it is. All the staff are very kind and informative. The proprietor John is a very kind man who is Also very understanding. Has owned the trading post for awhile now, and It is honestly great stop. A lot of the cultural items are high priced, but for a good reason. Most of the items were made from locals who have lived in the area for many, many years, and made those things hand made. Has everything from food to arts and crafts, all the way to car supplies. Has a great deli which has fresh food as well. All in all a great place to stop by, to get food, and it's where most of the locals shop and get their food and supplies.

Bought several souvenirs from a very large varieties of crafts and keepsakes. I've been there 2 or 3 times during the course of my travels through southern Colorado, Mesa Verde, Grand Canyon, and on the way to LA, Well worth the time for a look-see. You won't get disappointed and a good place to top off the gas tank since there is a fair distance to the next chance to buy fuel.

Good grocery, curios, souvenirs, locally-made goods, and general store. Really nice staff, good to chat with and helpful to tourists. Enjoyed browsing and getting a few items and some snacks. Thank you, enjoyed the conversation.

This site at Four Corners was a Harvest Host stay for me in my RV. Finding it was easy; it's in a beautiful place only 5 miles from the Four Corners Monument.

One of the very few trading posts still in operation much as they were years ago. They've got a selection of very nice silver and turquoise jewelry, a rug room with Navajo rugs in many sizes, patterns, and skill levels, quite a variety of books about the various southwest tribes, and as trading posts had for decades, a selection of "general store" merchandise. Friendly staff, reasonable pricing. Also restrooms and gasoline available. Definitely worth a stop, in my opinion. We make a point to stop in most every time we are passing by.

What a fantastic place in the Four Corners area. It is a little of everything offering snacks, drinks, butcher shop, yarn, Navajo rugs, Cortez Milling Co flour, herbs, freshly made sandwiches, propane, and gas. Bathrooms were clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Big thanks to the butcher who gave us invaluable local information given that the Four Corners monument was closed. He directed us to another spot where we were treated to a wonderful view of the valley.

Excellent little market with a wide array of food, beverages, and handmade goods. Doesn’t have that tourist trap feel. Folks are friendly. Big parking lot. Clean restrooms.

Friendly people, awesome handmade items along with other gifts. I'd go again! Prices are anywhere from regular overpriced souvenirs to high priced handmade items (they are worth it).

Very nice employees, a pleasure to stop and pick up some essentials. They have the most fragrant and pretty outdoor seating area with restrooms next to their building. Well worth a pit stop and full up after visiting Four Corners Monument. One nice worker even informed me where to get Navajo Tacos down the road in Ship Rock.

Great scenery but was not open. Only gas station for miles. Liked the artwork and the saying above gas pumps.

We loved staying here through Harvest Hosts. It was quiet and lots of room to park. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were bake to stay the night, fill up on gas and propane, all in one stop. We did buy a beautiful Teec Nos Pos original design rug while there. They were all so beautiful, handmade, and local. If you are near, you must stop and look at the crafts and rugs. It's a beautiful, long, and arduous process to make these rugs.

Really friendly place. Washrooms were clean and they had some native crafts. There were some nice people set up in the parking lot selling traditional frybread. Very reasonably priced and it was really good.
